There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. To the outside is a garden with furniture and off-road parking for two cars.2 Mellfell View is a lovely escape for those looking to enjoy the Lake District.
2 well behaved dogs welcome, pets must remain on the ground floor. Minimum 4 nights for short breaks
Amenities: Room heating is provided by electric radiators. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Complimentary basket of fire wood and starter pack for woodburning stove included in rent. Bed linen and towels included in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for two cars. Spacious mature cottage garden with furniture and BBQ. Four well-behaved dogs welcome ('owners politely ask guests to keep pets on the ground floor). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 miles. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of ÂŁ100. Note: Th. Minimum 4 nights for short breaks.

Penruddock can trace its history back to Celtic times, the name being derived from 'Pen', a Celtic word for 'hill' and 'rhuddawc' meaning red in Welsh and referring to the reddish brown colour of the soil found in the area. The popular town of Keswick is close by, boasting numerous shops and restaurants, as well as offering miniature golf, some good parks, the Century Theatre, a cinema and a beautiful lake. Penruddock itself offers easy access to the surrounding Cumbrian countryside and the southern Lakes, Solway Coast and Hadrian's Wall are all within easy driving distance.
