The unit was clean and tidy. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we were very happy to see all the extra pillows for the bedroom. Cute little condo in South Beach

This is the second time we have stayed in one of Tom's condos. Overall the condo met all our needs. Check in was very easy and the condo was well equipped. Tom was helpful when we had to adjust our 6 week stay to 5 weeks. The condo is very close to the ocean where on a daily basis we saw dolphins. We would definitely stay in one of Tom's condos again.

This place was beautiful. The most comfortable bed and bedding, exceptionally clean, percent location. Even though our trip was cut short because of Debby we will definitely stay again. Highly recommended, Gorgeous, One Bedroom Condo

We are regulars to Hilton Head and this was the first time we used VRBO for our accommodations. This property is a gem! It is extremely clean and overall spectacular. The condo is a second floor end unit and very private. The elegant touches inside the condo set it apart. There is a bench seat by the front door, large granite windowsills in the bedroom and the stained glass in the two kitchen cabinets, elevate this property from the usual condo. The large closet and full sized washer and dryer were also a huge plus. The balcony was great to sit on and have coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. (Much appreciation for the Keurig!) The condo is close to the beach, The Salty Dog and shopping. Check in/check out was super easy and all the information that was sent ahead of our visit, including some "helpful hints," added a personal touch. The owner, Tom, was great to work with and very responsive! One of the best! Thank you Tom for sharing your beautiful property with us. We look forward to retuning!

Annual HHI vacation

This unit is perfect for us now. We've been visiting HHI annually since the late 1980's. Having stayed mostly at Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines, we have settled into Sea Pines in recent years as our favorite location. Our kids are now feeding themselves with kids of their own. For a number of years, we rented 4-5 bedroom homes with pool, etc for the entertainment of both kids and grandkids. However, now with conflicting schedules, it is much more difficult to get everyone together. As such, it's just the two of us and Tom's unit is perfect...100 yards from the beach and 100 yards from The Salty Dog with bike trails to get us anywhere else we want to go. One point of note, I would avoid Pickle Ball at all cost...it is a contact sport not to be taken lightly. Two years and two trips to the ER have convinced me that I am much better with a good book and a beverage on the beach while watching the pelicans dive for their dinner! Pickle Ball aside, we love everything about this unit. Tom is very responsive and most accommodating. This unit is the perfect getaway for the two of us. Cannot wait to return next year!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at this Bluff Villas condo. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. It looked exactly like the photos, if not better. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach, pool, and all the fun and charm of the Salty Dog area. It truly doesn’t get more convenient than this.Tom was a dream to work with. He was incredibly responsive and helpful before booking and provided such thorough, thoughtful information before check-in that everything went smoothly from start to finish. We had friends staying in another Bluff Villas unit, and they were in awe of how much nicer and better-equipped this condo was in comparison.The condo came stocked with clean linens, towels, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, and even complimentary shower toiletries. Such a nice touch that made us feel right at home.We can’t wait to come back and are already hoping Tom has more units available as our family continues to grow. Tastefully Decorated & Quick Beach Access

The beach cannot be seen from the unit but it’s a 5 minute stroll and you’ll feel your feet in the sand! Walk to Salty Dog in 5 minutes. Bike path is also across the street
we always call Island Bike Rentals; most reasonable on the island! The unit was nicely decorated and had a decent size lanai. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of bathroom counter space for our toiletries. Plenty of counter space in kitchen as well. The microwave and dishwasher (bring pods!) worked well
didn’t use range. Washer & dryer work well, too (bring pods & dryer sheets!). Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas (on lanai). Important note: If you plan on bringing any food or drinks to the beach, bring a cooler and some disposable containers & cups. Would stay here again.

I grew up in Solon, Ohio and vacationed on Hilton Head almost every year since 1972...I know, that's a long time! Graduated from Michigan State University's Hotel and Restaurant Management program and moved to DC where I started my career as a hospitality analyst / consultant. Since then I've worked in hotel development, finance, and ownership. And, for the past 25 years, I've worked as a hotel real estate broker selling hotels all over the country.

Having traveled extensively, I can tell you there is no better place to come home to than Hilton Head Island. Even though I still have one foot in Atlanta, Hilton Head is my happy place.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

My parents built a home in Hilton Head Plantation in 1990 and for most of my kid's childhood, we used Folly Beach or Coligny Beach, but pretty much forgot about Sea Pines. Then in 2013, I rediscovered Sea Pines and all of its beauty. Plus, The Riverstone Group has now poured nearly $200 million into new Sea Pines Resort amenities like The Beach Club, The Plantation Club, the new Harbour Town Links Clubhouse and all the new improvements to the Marina.

So the trick was to find a place walking distance to the beach that wouldn't break the bank. And Bluff Villas was the perfect fit. I bought a two-bedroom Bluff Villa condo in 2013 and renovated it top to bottom. Then, in 2016, I renovated another one bedroom in Bluff Villas and followed on the next year with a total renovation of 1685 Bluff Villas.
