Oct 25, easy booking and information, very clean and fab large rooms, we had a fabulous holiday we were 10 mins walk from seafront, and shops. Taxis to or just returning after a night on the strip were easy to come by and easily booked for airport run. Spent time around the pool most days, having a bbq the seating area outside was a definite plus, and table tennis bought out the competition.. we all had a lovely time and definitely recommend Villa Zoe

Lovely spacious villa and the pool was great. Plenty of outdoor space for sunbathing and dining. The table tennis table was an added bonus. Lots of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants although we hired a car to see more of the Island.

Villa in good location.A good size villa for families and groups. A few issues were found on arrival so we reported them the next day they came around and fixed some of them.pool is a good size. Bars and restaurants in ten minutes walk fifteen minutes to the strip for a lot more. Villa needs a good clean but it is acceptable

Holiday

Villa location nice and quiet with a short walk to bars and restaurants. Villa exterior well maintained and roomy. However interior dated, with damp and musky smell in main bedroom. Wooden window frames rotten and black. 6 sunbeds all extremely worn with one broken. Water from air conditioning making parts of outside wet and slippy. Pool shower did not work and looking at earlier reviews has not worked since at least January. Bedding was also old and discoloured. Contacted agent who apologised and said issues would be referred to maintanance team but heard nothing. However to some credit we asked for a late check out and was told €200 but after reminding them of the issues they reduced the charge to €100? Villa would not need much to be really lovely.

Villa Zoe

This year we paid more for Villa Zoe than previous villas of similar standard so therefore, we had a higher expectation. We found the condition & cleanliness of the villa poor on arrival - paint failing from ceiling in 3 rooms/ villa & beds where damp/curtains in twin room had mould/ poor & unclean range of kitchen utensils/ dirty main window/ rotten window frame/ living room furniture dirty & outside pool area needed. cleaning - dirty pool beds. outside pool shower didn't work. I have photos to highlight these issues & more. In fairness property manager arranged a proper clean which helped & our concerns partially addressed but Villa needs some money spent on it to charge the premium price paid and that was our big grievance. We warmed more to the villa as holiday progressed. I suspect the Villa was prepped weeks ahead of our visit & not aired which possibly caused issues. It would not take much to address issues we have highlighted to ensure guests get proper experience for price charged.

Disappointing!

Fab location, beautiful spacious villa. Outside was lovely. BUT the interior is very dated. It was not ready on time & the poor cleaners when we arrived seemed stressed and overworked. We arrived nearly 2 hours after check in time which was 4pm, we arrived at 5.45pm, and the cleaners were just leaving. But the interior was really dirty! Ingrained dirtThe TV had no satélite decoder, so we could not use it. We had two wine glasses between 4 of us & only 3 coffee mugs. There were no extra blankets available if it was chilly (which it was). Cooking utensils were minimal. One large spoon for cooking. The microwave had no glass turntable, so no plate or dish would sit safely in it for reheating. The pool was poorly maintained. In the two weeks we were there a chap came twice & tested the water & rubbed a brush along the edges, this took a maximum of 5 minutes. The second week the bottom of the pool & the steps were black with volcanic dust from the stones around the planted area, as it had been really windy for our stay, so we did not use the pool for the second week.Bedroom no 1 had no hot water from the tap.We did complain to the management company about the glasses & crockery as we purchased two wine glasses, as we wanted a celebratory holiday drink when we arrived, but refused to buy any mugs. We requested more. They bought four glasses & 6 cereal bowls!! we did eventually get a new tap for the bedroom but this took a week after complaint again to the towel change lady.

Overall it was a very good and relaxing week. Villa Zoe was spotlessly clean & well-presented. Swimming and sunbathing in our private villa was a pleasure as were Playa de los Pocillos and Playa Matagorda, gorgeous beaches that were less than a 10-minute walk away. We also visited Puerto Calero and it was so amazing. The agents were superb and they replied very fast to every request that we had. WE WILL COME BACK!

We were really pleasantly surprised. The villa was beautiful and immaculately clean. Nice spacious outside area with a private pool and terrace and a nice dining area. Honestly, we were so lucky to have such a wonderful outside area to prepare food!!! It was set in an absolutely beautiful location near the sea. It was our first time in Lanzarote and we will be returning again to this villa for sure.

Dated accommodation but perfectly fit for purpose

This was our first time of renting a villa. The AC didn’t work in one of the bedrooms but it was fine in the others and in the lounge area. Pool was a good size and there were 6 sunbeds. The utensils and crockery weren’t that clean and some weren’t very useful but we got by. The furniture and decor was dated but it was good enough for a week’s stay. Location is very quiet and within a 15 minutes walk to the Texas Rancho which is a great day out. They also have an entertainments evening twice a week which was also great. It’s about a 15-20 minutes walk to the main strip where the shops and restaurants are and they’re are plenty of them. It was only a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Overall we had a great holiday in a very nice part of Lanzarote

The owner of the villa is very friendly and told us in advance that we could appeal to his hospitality if we need anything. All in all it was a fantastic holiday that we will enjoy for a long time to come.
