Great stay in Crete

It was a very nice holiday in crete in a wonderful large house. The house was very nice and anything you need during a holiday was available in the house. Especially the housemaid (Yulie) was perfect, she was very friendly and did a great job.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment, the cool winds being up a mountain helped keep the hot weather bearable. The checkin was different but worked for us. There was two parking spaces which was handy for us as we hired two cars.The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well fitted out with most items required to have a family holiday. All the bedrooms are fitted with aircon systems. The Wifi is very poor, we could not get any reception in the bedrooms snd had to purchase sim cards to get any form of wifi as we were still working whilst on holiday and needed Wifi. I believe there is only one router between three villas which is probably the issue. The toilet seats are loose and missing the securing nuts whis is pretty dangerous should someone slip off and hit their head. The two showers are very average, one shower is missing the sliding door and the hose doesnt fix into its bracked firmly so moves around. The second shower is in the bath and sprays towards the opposite wall which then poors onto the bath then onto the floor. Easy solution is to fit a shower curtain. But in general the villa is very nice and the views are pretty nice. Despite the few issues we had a very enjoyable stay. Oh and you will probably need a sat nav to find the villa the first time you drive there, its up a very windy road. Try the taverners 1.4km down the hill, they are very good.

A Villa w Character

Well, the positives are always first. The villa was just as pictured in Vrbo. It was nestled in the hills and was very private and secluded. The 4 bedrooms/baths were separated into 2 identical halves on each side of villa which is nice to have privacy between guests/children. The pool was private and always clean. The scenic property was perfect with a covered porch and ample private, grassy area to catch the sun. So a few recommendations for the next guests includes the following: 1-a reliable internet connection. It was weak, spotty and often completely inoperable; 2-softer mattresses; 3-if you are preparing meals, a few more kitchen amenities would be nice; 4-shower had no shower curtain so keeping bath floor dry was problematic; 5-only 2 rolls of toilet paper were supplied for 6 people for 5 days. The owner said toilet paper is not considered basic and should be supplied by guests. Luckily, a caretaker supplied us with a few more rolls; 6-slightly difficult to find a night. I would put the hotel/restaurant's address across the street for GPS. BTW The owners of the hotel/restaurant across the street was family owned. They treated us like part of the family too. They gave us access to their pool, restaurant, bar, etc and gave us assistance in time of need! Overall, I would recommend the Villa to family and friends.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes freistehendes Haus

Wir waren eine Woche im September da und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es hat genug Platz für uns gehabt. Der Pool wurde alle 2 Tage gereinigt und das Haus zwischendurch auch, sowie die Handtücher gewechselt. Es gab genügend Gläser und Besteck für 6 Leute. Das Wifi wurde verbessert nach unserer Reklamation, da zunächst kein gutes Netz vorhanden war. Da der Vermieter selbst vorbeikam am Tag nach unserer Anreise, hatten wir einen guten Kontakt. Eine Anregung hätten wir - eine Garderobe, evtl. hinter der Tür, wäre eine gute Sache. Ansonsten konnten einige leider mit den Matratzen nicht so sehr gut schlafen - aber das ist bekanntlich sehr individuell. Wir haben viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Kalami Beach war echt ein toller Strand in der Nähe - das Wasser war warm und klar dort. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Super schönes Haus

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Haus. Hier und da sind sicherlich ein paar Dinge dreckig, aber super nettes Personal und wunderschöne Gegend. Es hat sich auf jeden gelohnt!

Crete aout 2024

1er sejour en Crête et enchantés de ces vacances! La villa est bien située car possible de faire beaucoup d'activites et de découvrir l'Est de la Crête même si il faut parfois faire 1h30 de route. Il suffit de se lever tôt et on en profite pleinement. Les locaux sont vraiment gentils! La villa est conforme à l'annonce.On y retournera, c'est sûr..

Bene ma non benissimo

La casa è molto bella , ma ci sono molte cose da migliorare. Non viene fornito nulla di prima necessità....mancava sale olio detersivi etc etc...siamo stati nella settimana successiva in un altra casa sempre sull'isola che aveva tutto anche il caffè. Ha le zanzariere quasi tutte rotte . I lavandini dei bagni spruzzano ovunque mancano i rompigetto. I bagni sono ciechi senza nemmeno una ventola. La piscina ha un pezzo di rivestimento rotto e i due tappi di legno dei filtri sono pericolosi. Basterebbe poco per migliorare... Non è la prima casa che affitto in Grecia ed a Creta e le manutenzioni lasciano desiderare.

Beautiful Villa in a quiet area

The Villa was amazing, clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The pool was cleaned every day and the towels were changed once during our 5-day stay. Unfortunately, we did not stay for a long time so we could not try everything the Villa had to offer - like the BBQ! I would just say that there are a lot of bugs, but it can't be helped as it is in an island after all. Finally, Richard was a lovely host who answered all my questions straight away! Totally recommend.

The property was extremely comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend this villa for a perfect holiday. For 6 people it was plenty big enough as we spent most of the time outdoors anyway. Great terrace and nice sea and landscape views from the pool area and the terrace. The property was really cute and had excellent value for money. One has hardly noticed anything of both. We will be using this agency again. Thanks very much for making our holiday so easy. We were worried that after looking at the photos of the villa that it wouldnt be as nice but it was lovely.

The property was in an ideal place immaculate and well looked after. Very quiet neighborhood, near a village called Zacharias with great tavernas and local food specialties. Also, Kalami Beach is only a 5-minute drive away. The charming platia for beverages and sweets, serving popular tavernas and cafes, is a perfect spot to explore local cuisine, wine, and culture. May consider returning next year!

Villa was just what we had hoped for. Despite not renting a car we found that travelling by taxi and bikes to the local towns of Almyrida and Vamos as well as a night out in Chania were all very easy and enjoyable. The villa is only a short distance to Rethymno city and Maria and her team are doing a superb job.

Maison parfaite pour 8 personnes adultes et enfants.

Pas de problèmes durant notre séjour. Un seul léger souci, la porte d'entrée peut être fermée les clés étant à l'intérieur. Elle doit être chargée.

Un village étonnant

Si vous aimez la simplicité le village d’Aptera vous plaira ; habitants accueillants, 2 auberges où l’on aime passer un bon moment, site archéologique et historique d’un très grand intérêt... La maison est très bien tenue. Le gérant, Stratosphérique est efficacement présent sans être envahissant.

A lovely holiday spent on Crete The villa was in a lnuce position looking out to the sea , the pool was fantastic. The villa could do with some updates but over has a fantastic place to stay! Hiring a car is required as the villa out in the country. The village is more like 30 minutes walk away but all the restaurants were fabulous! If you want a relaxing holiday I would definitely recommend this accommodation!
