I work a lot of hours and was in need of a breakaway and time to relax with my family. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing in the day and evening by the pool. We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. The villa and Kefalas were perfect for my family. We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places are Kefalas and Almirida, are. Overall the villa is spotless, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

Enjoyable trip but Villa could be better

Nice location - walkable to small village with local shop and some excellent restaurants. Spacious outdoor area, and pool was great. Nice views. Generally had a great stay however there are a few things which if addressed would have made for a better experience, particularly for a Villa of this size and price range; The kitchen & equipment are inadequate for a villa of this size (1 chopping board for example). There is only 1 plug so can only have 1 applicance in use at a time. The oven/hob is old, not fit for purpose. And there is no prep space. No aircon downstairs & very noisy aircon upstairs - uncomfortable sofas and heat made it impossible to sit indoors at night. Pool - don't think it was cleaned at all during our 9 day stay and was grubby to begin with. There is a very noisy pump/filter under a large metal cover right where the outdoor seating area is so only half of that area is useable space. Sunloungers are old/rickety and there is a lack of comfortable seating areas outside - lots of Directors style chairs but a sofa or cushioned chair would have made a huge difference. Bathrooms need an upgrade, very tired. Villa is infested with ants and found a mouldy lemon & lime under the bed.

Das Haus ist sehr groß und verfügt über einen wunderschönen Außenbereich. Allerdings sind die Toilette und das Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig.

Dejlig feriebolig udenfor turistområde

Lækker pool, der er stor nok til både afkøling og leg, og dejlig have. Området er roligt. Der er butik og taverna ret tæt på, hvis man skal i et større supermarked, skal der køres et stykke. Huset er ok, men nogle møbler fremstår lidt slidt. Sengene kunne godt bruge topmadrasser, de er ret hårde. Det er dejligt med aircondition i alle soverum. Der er en lille opvaskemaskine, hvilket vi ikke var klar over. Det var en dejlig overraskelse 😊

Its been an incredible week for us! Thank you! Five stars*****. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood, near to almost everything: shops, tavernas, ets. Its about a 25-minute drive to Chania so very convenient for the airport. We are still here and cant wait to come back or find another place with Agni Travel.

The villa is lovely; its spotless, modern, and roomy, with everything youll need for a pleasant vacation. The pool is the ideal size for relaxing and taking in the sun and scenery. We couldnt have asked for a higher level of service. From the booking through the end of our vacation, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend this property, and I would most certainly return again.

It is situated in a peaceful environment and Kefalas is a very nice village. All bedrooms have great views. He even brought fresh bread from the local bakery. Crete is a beautiful island, especially in the western part. We will most definitely be back.

Lovely views of the mountains and a good location on the edge of the village. The furnishings are of very high quality, and the property is beautifully displayed. We arrived late on Saturday night and the villa looked great. We loved Kalyves and Almyrida and even went on a boat trip to Balos lagoon which was beautiful. The villa is spacious, the beds were comfy and had mostly everything you could need.

Bon séjour à quelques exceptions prêt

La villa est dans l’ensemble correct, mis à part les salles de bains, en effet des évacuations se trouvent au centre des deux pièces, et l’eau qui s’écoule dans la douche remonte par ces évacuations résultats, une flaque d’eau à la fin d’une douche dans des pièces relativement petites, pas top pour l’hygiène. A l’arrivée une salle de bain n’était pas très propre non plus. A noter que la propretaite est réactive et efficace mais la communication se fait via Agni travel situé à Londres qui eux au contraire ne le sont pas du tout, si vous arrivez à avoir directement le numéro de la propriétaire c’est beaucoup mieux.

Séjour autour d’une belle piscine

Agréable maison avec surtout très confortable jardin. Grande piscine identique aux photos. Nous passions notre temps sur la terrasse autour de la piscine. Décoration intérieure simple. Équipement correcte, excepté mini lave vaisselle, produits de base auraient été apprécié. Plusieurs maisons mitoyennes, du coup nous profitions de la musique et des conversations de nos voisins. Le séjour reste néanmoins très agréable ! :)

Excellent property for quiet holiday

We enjoyed our stay in Kefalas. The village is very small and in the hills so having a car is essential. The villa was great although the bathrooms could do with an update. The pool was clean and a good size (not suitable for non swimmers as it’s deep at both ends) If you’re looking for a quiet holiday away from crowds but close enough to some lovely beaches this ticks all the boxes. We were just sad we had to leave early due to the Covid quarantine.

Lovely holiday, we have enjoyed it. The Villa is beautiful I wouldnt change anything. Friendly people and helpful when we need it. Its important to rent a car cause Crete is absolutely beautiful and its pity not to explore around. The location of the villa its perfect, quiet area and friendly people. A few shops at 10 minutes walk and taverns. Also we have found a small lagoon at 10min drive very beautiful and suitable for everyone. We have had a perfect holiday, hopefully next year well be here again.

The villa is quite spacious and bright from every side. It offers anything you might ask. There are 3 bedrooms and an attic, which all have A/C units. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool area is fantastic, there are lots of sunbeds and chairs to relax. The pool is very large and clean, the sun is over it all time, so you can have a swim almost every time of the day, however it is rather deep and not very suitable for children. The agency has done an excellent job caring about the guests in case they need anything and everything has been under deep consideration for your safety and accommodation. We would love to visit again this villa in the future!

We loved the location which was quite high up and away from the main tourist places. The villa had everything you needed and was nice. Kefalas is very pretty with an excellent restaurant (we ate there 4 times) and taverna. The people in both shops were very helpful with a wealth of local knowledge. The villa was nice and private and although out of the way it was easy to get around. We loved Kalyves and Almyrida and even went on a boat trip to Balos lagoon which was beautiful. There is plenty to do and see and the villa is well placed to get out and about. A car is essential ( just watch out for those hair pin bends especially at night) . All in all we had a great holiday and we will definitely come back to this area again.
