Cottage-Luxus-Eigenes Badezimmer-Gîte 3 Bedrooms

Far more than your standard self-catering gites, we offer a spacious and luxurious setting for your holiday with either 2 or 3 large bedrooms available.  Tastefully decorated with all the usual added extras, we are targeting repeat visitors and those that do enjoy and appreciate quality.  We are ideally suited to that 'special occasion' and, depending on availability, can offer extra services such as evening meals and picnic lunches. You will have sole occupancy of your gite in a beautiful relaxing countryside location.  

A spacious, open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area provides your main accommodation area, with TV and entertainment facilities. From this area two large bedrooms are accessible upstairs, both with King size beds and en-suite shower rooms. An adjacent lounge area, with the third mezzanine bedroom area is available when booked for 5 or 6 guests. A Superking size bed, with a further en-suite shower room are on this mezzanine level. All beds have memory foam mattresses. Both ground floor areas have front and rear entrance doors to patio areas.
Located in the beautiful south Vendée, part of the Loire region, our 'petit chateau' is steeped in history.  The entire residential history of the main house is recorded and dates back to 1341.  Some of the external features - including a medieval vaulted cellar - date back to the 11th century.

The perfect place as a base for exploring south Vendée - Puy du Fou, Marais Poitevin, Mervent Forest, Futuroscope, La Rochelle, Vouvant and other beautiful towns and the spectacular Atlantic coast, all within an hour away.

Far more than your standard self-catering gites, we offer a spacious and luxurious setting for your holiday within our 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite shower-rooms.  Tastefully decorated with all the usual added extras, we are targeting repeat visitors and those that do enjoy and appreciate quality.  We are ideally suited to that 'special occasion' and, depending on availability, can offer extra services such as evening meals and picnic lunches.  Chateau Le Retail is available for either up to 6 or 4 guests, (for a min. 3 nights & open all year) you will have sole occupancy of your gite in a beautiful relaxing countryside location.  

For up to 4 guests, an open plan spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area is supplimented by 2 large bedrooms, both with private ensuite facilities and King size beds. For 5 or 6 guests a further lounge and mezzanine area become available, offering a third Superking bed and a further ensuite shower-room. Bed linen, bathroom & beach towels are all provided. UK TV, DVDs, a BBQ and a complimentary GPS for your car if required, are all available for use. Parking and wifi are provided for free.

Whilst it's necessary to have a car to enjoy the area fully there are many quiet roads and walking and cycling paths accessible directly from your gite.  Of course you may just want to come for the food, the wine and to spend your time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine and the blissful peace and quiet of life in rural France.
