Nie wieder !

Ein total ungepflegtes Haus, kein Trinkwasser, alles dreckig ! Wir haben sofort unseren Urlaub abgebrochen. Das Abwasser aus der Küche wird in den Garten geleitet, der Gestank ist bestialisch! An der ganzen Fassade hängt kein grünes Blatt mehr- die Fassade ist komplett verschimmelt. Vom Vermieter ist keinerlei Rückerstattung zu erwarten ! Es handelt sich hier um arglistige Täuschung ! Fewo kümmert sich überhaupt nicht ! Wir sind leider reingefallen !

Superbe séjour

Superbe vue sur la campagne toscane, maison rustique pleine de charme et bien isolée thermiquement, piscine très agréable, un vrai petit coin de paradis !

Truly beautiful Tuscan Villa

A fabulously located pretty Tuscan Villa with owners that are very close and always helpful. Well equipped and well kept property that lends itself to a quiet, relaxing holiday overlooking lush Tuscan countryside. We very much enjoyed the true Tuscan feel to the whole property and the helpfullness of the owners who went out of their way to make the stay a joy.

Beautiful, tranquil villa in great location

Lovely, very private, clean and comfortable villa with 3 large double bedrooms, a peaceful garden & pool and stunning views. Fabulous location for exploring much of Tuscany by car and also by train from Pontedera (10 minutes drive away). Laura came to give the children pasta making lessons, which was wonderful and the pool was regularly cleaned. Great vineyard nearby called Agri Sole, for tasting wines and Tuscan food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - many thanks Genka.

Dream vacation at Villa Belvedere

Villa Belvedere is the perfect Tuscan hill country getaway. It sits on top of a quiet ridge top just above the Arno River valley in the town of Marti. The views are spectacular and the site is very quiet and peaceful. You will need to rent a car, which we did at the Pisa airport, which I highly recommend, it's very easy to get in and out of, and has a very small town feel. My wife Susan and I completely fell in love with The Villa. It's a beautifully restored farmhouse full of great art and antiques. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms quite lovely and well maintained. The villa can very comfortably accommodate 6 people. Our stay was in October, which I would say is an ideal time of year in Tuscany. The pool was starting to cool off a bit, but on sunny days was a refreshing delight. The location in Marti was perfect for exploring the hill towns in every direction, and Firenze to the east, and Pisa- Lucca to the west. Our host Genka and Maria Pace are generous and gracious people who live nearby in Marti, and were always ready and able with help and advice. Also, Genka, being half Brit is a native English speaker which can be helpful. In summary, I really can hardly describe how much we loved our stay at the beautiful Villa Belvedere! Oh, one more thing, the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there is easy access to great groceries at the local COOP. We hope to return to the Villa someday soon. Ciao, Skip and Susan

Beautiful Tuscan villa

This is a lovely villa with beautiful grounds - it's great having the grassy airy above the pool. It is well equipped and spacious. It's a short walk to Marti (it's a shame there is only a small local bar there and no restaurant and the bar isn't open every day). Close to the Fi-Pi-Li so easy to get around by car and close to train stations for trips to Florence etc. Watch out if arriving on a Sunday to try and buy supplies in advance.

A great place

We had a very nice week at the Villa Belvedere. The Villa's style was "rustic charm" and had everything you need. It is in a quiet location, ideal if you want to get some peace and quiet in the Tuscan hills. The layout of the garden and pool is ideal for family holidays where you also have the option of finding a private spot under the shade to read a good book without being interrupted. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would have no doubts in recommending this villa to anybody seeking an enjoyable holiday in Tuscany.

A wonderful hill top escape.

Villa Belvedere is an exceptional property in a commanding position with views across the Tuscan countryside. I went there for 2 weeks in summer 2013 with my wife and 3 children, and we had a wonderful time. On the outskirts of Marti, the villa is within easy driving range of all the wonderful Tuscan cities - Sienna, Pisa, Florence, plus a host of smaller charming towns. There are also extensive restaurants in the local vicinity. What sets Villa Belvedere apart is the care that its owner, Genka, takes of families renting the villa. The villa is well catered for, and is very clean and comfortable. However, it is the extra touches that Genka provides, such as regular and unobtrusive pool cleaning and house maintenance, plus really useful recommendations of days out, supermarkets, restaurants, and even the best routes when sat nav struggles with the local roads! I recommend this villa heartily for those who love summer heat, peace, barbecues, swimming (the swimming pool is ingenious, as it includes a ledge where babies and toddlers can safely potter), food, wine and relaxing.

Charming rustic Tuscan villa with great views

Beautiful rustic villa with fantastic views. Very well equipped with everything you need for a holiday rental. Quiet and peaceful location but also close to main routes for visiting famous places (e.g. Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Volterra). The owners (Genka and family) were very welcoming and helpful with their local knowledge, also accessible if needed. Very happy to recommend this villa. No faults experienced - first class!

just wonderful. Perfect Holiday.

The property is amazing. Large garden on the hilltop surrounded by trees, in the summer chilled by wind. Closest neighbours about 500m away but still close enough if you want to walk for coffee to the town. Charming house with swimming pool. Our host Genka-amazingly friendly and helpful. Marti is half away between Pisa (and airport) and Florence making it super place to explore Toscany. Pet and Children friendly place, with internet if you have to work. Amazing vacation place for a family.
