Inside the villa, the ocean view, exotic and spacious Living room with Dining area has beautiful furnishings. 65 inch flat screen SMART TV with Netflix, Youtube etc.

Fully fitted ocean view western style Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all the fixtures and fittings needed for your stay. A second Dining area is provided here with dining table and chairs. Both areas with superb ocean views.

Beautiful Bedroom with king size bed has an en-suite Bathroom, with an ocean view Bath tub and a walk-in shower. Air conditioning in Bedroom and ceiling fans throughout the villa.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:

All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned after every 3 nights, with change of clean bed linen and towels also after every 3 nights. Small bottle of shower gel and shampoo provided for the first night.

Mats provided for yoga practice, which is ideal on the decking with the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery.

Please note that no additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa, are permitted to stay overnight.

All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.

It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.

All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank.

No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. . The complimentary car is not to be driven off the island.

Neighbourhood description:

Villa Moonstone, positioned at Sitara Retreat, is situated close to the southern tip of the island. Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are a short drive away and include local Laem Sett beach, Waterfalls, Rum Distillery, Elephant trekking, Grandmother, Grandfather Rocks, Lamai beach, Thai cookery classes, Thai boxing, kayaking, amongst many others. There are many fine and varied restaurants serving delicious Thai and Western dishes, all within 5-10 min drive from the villa.

The southern part of the island still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people. The beaches on the south also remain undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline. If you like to explore you can still find areas where you have the beach to yourself, and never too far away you will find a Thai restaurant where you can enjoy true authentic local dishes.

The villa is a 2-3 min drive, or 15 min walking distance (which is steep in a couple of places) to local Laem Sett beach. It is a quiet and secluded beach where one can spot the local fishermen, with their long tailed boats, come into shore. Located on the beach is the popular Thai style Cool Bar where you can enjoy delicious food and a drink whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.

Close by is ShaSa Resort and Centara Villas which opens their doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars.

Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 6 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.

Five to ten min drive away is the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market, together with small local shops, 24-hour Seven Eleven store, coffee shops, doctors surgery and Chinese Temple, amongst other places to explore and enjoy.

Lamai beach, which is several kilometres long, has many attractions, with fine restaurants and varied water sports. Thai boxing is also popular and Lamai has its own professional and amateur boxing ring. Five mins north of Lamai is Silver beach one of the best beaches on the whole island.

Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away. Free transfers also provided upon both your arrival and departure from Villa Moonstone.
