Terrazza Sallustio

Terrazza Sallustio is a newly renovated high-rise penthouse with two breathtaking view terraces.
It consists of a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a single room, another bathroom with shower, a living room with a sofa bed (will be prepared only in case of 4 or 5 guests booking), a fully furnished kitchen, and two panoramic terraces.
The double bedroom and the living room have air conditioning.

Terrazza Sallustio is the ideal place as a starting point to get to know Rome and also a very comfortable house where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking view of the terraces.
The first terrace of about 50 square meters is accessed from the living room and kitchen, the second terrace is accessed via a staircase that leads from the living room.
In the apartment there is free wi-fi, smart TV, air conditioning (in the double bedroom and in the living room), autonomous heating, nespresso machine, american coffe machine, toster and everything you need to cook.
The penthouse is reachable with a flight of stairs from the highest floor served by the elevator.

Let us know if you need help or advice on:
- Private taxi from/to airports, train stations and Civitavecchia harbor.
- Private guided tours to archeology sites or museums.
- Rome private custom sightseeing tour in a golf cart.
- Cooking class and home dinner with the chef.

As requested by Italian law, upon check-in the guest will be requested to provide id document for any person hosted and will have to sign a rental agreement in Italian.
For booking for up to 3 guests will be prepared the double bed and the single bed. Only in case of booking for 4 or 5 guests will be prepared also the sofa bed.
For stays equal to or greater than 14 days, a payment of € 160 in cash is required upon check-in as an addition to the cleaning fee for housekeeping and the change of all linens on the day in the middle of the stay between 10:00AM and 04:00PM.
Late check-in from 09:00PM to midnight costs 30€ to be paid cash upon check-in. It's not possible to check-in after midnight.
Host is not responsible for any guest belongings left or forgotten in the house after checkout time.

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Terrazza Sallustiio.. Donatella was very prompt and communicative. And she supplied breakfast items. The location was very near to restaurants and supermarkets as well as local tourist attractions. The apartment was very comfortable and the views of Rome were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

Very nice experience

The property matches 100% the respective ad and we found everything in very good shape and well maintained. Highlight of this appartement for sure is the main terrace with a view all the way down to St. Pete's Cathedral. Main attractions are within 45min walking distance (20min taxi) and it is especially worth mentioning how caring the owners were; always on the watchout to help making our stay an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful Apartment!

This apartment was so clean and beautiful, centrally located but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The roof top patio was amazing!! Absolutely amazed by this rental. It’s a perfect escape from busy city, with 2 amazing roof top patios. The view of the city is gorgeous. Location is perfect- close to many thing you will want to see and a lot of restaurants close by. Property is very clean, well maintained! Many great amenities like fish washer, air conditioner & easy to pull out sofa as well as some basics like soaps & kitchen appliances. Check in was super easy with even some food in the fridge. This is the best place we ever rented anywhere! You will not regret staying here.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at Donatella’s home! The check-in process was smooth and easy. The apartment is on the six floor but the lift made it super easy and convenient. The roof top view is just so gorgeous to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or even a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment was conveniently located and found ourselves walking to enjoy Rome. Donatella was very responsive when we during the whole process and there was a great gelato shop right down the road! Would stay here again if visiting Rome!

We had a wonderful stay in Rome, thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by Donatella and Marco. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of — including a smooth airport pickup, helpful recommendations for local restaurants, and a warm welcome at the apartment by Roberto, who guided us through the necessary registration process with ease.The apartment is beautifully appointed, with a particularly lovely terrace that provided a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the city. Every comfort and convenience was thoughtfully anticipated — even the small necessities, which meant we didn’t need to visit the grocery store right away. Great location in Rome

Very nicely decorated and clean apartment, great location.!!!! The two patios were awesome, we enjoyed our wine and snacks outside each evening. So kind to leave beverages and snacks , perfect for the first day there! We had a problem with the elevator and hot water but the manager responded right away, thank you! Wish you had more clothes hangers, I'm not complainng, just suggesting, we made due. TV was nice we actually figured out how to listen to it in English! She did have a map for sightseeing. that was nice. It would be nice at all VRBO rentals if you had a list of restaurant favorites and why? The deli across the street was wonderful!

The apartment was very nice. Unfortunately we had little if any use of the terrace as it rained most of the time. I didn't know there were that many steps from the lift to the apartment,18 steps. The kitchen could have been better equipped, no forks, no microwave and a gas range that had to be lit and we had to buy a lighter to light it. I had to sign an agreement in Italian no clue what I signed. There were several restaurants near by but the main things we wanted to see were not close. So we pretty much took taxis. The apartment it self was very nice and the host accommodating.

Super Wohnung über den Dächern von Rom

Die Wohnung hat drei Räume, ein kleines mit einem Einzelbett, ein Schafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch. Besonders ist die sehr große und bequem eingerichtete Dachterrasse, die in den Sitzbereichen großzügig überdacht ist, so das auch bei Regen ein Aufenthalt draußen möglich ist. Außerdem gibt es noch eine weitere Dachterrasse. Die Lage der Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet mit vielen Restaurants. Die Bar nebenan verführt morgens zu herrlichen Cornettos und Kaffee. Es gibt eine super Busverbindung ganz in der Nähe. Die Metro ist etwas weiter weg.

Wonderful stay in TerrazaSalustiano for visiting the eternal city of Roma

We enjoyed our stay at la Terraza Sallustiano. It is well located in a quiet residential street where you have everything on site. Coffees, teas and biscotinis for breakfast shampoo, shower gel were available in the penthouse. Restaurants, cafes, Gelateria ( the best), are nearby and the Metro Station Barberini or Republica are 5mns walk from the location. Many thanks to all the staff members especially Marco who had arranged our taxi pickup for the airport.

Spotless Property in Perfect Location

Our stay in the Sallustiano Penthouse was perfect for our group of 3 (1 couple + my mother). The penthouse was spotless, and the property managers were incredibly flexible in letting us check in early after our long transatlantic flight. The location was central to everything and close to multiple metro stops (Barberini and Repubblica on the A, Castro Pretorio on the B, not to mention Termini). Lots of local dining options and grocery shops. The terrace was the highlight of the space, and we have so many sunset pictures captured between bottles of wine. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Perfect home base for Rome

This property and hosts were absolutely perfect for our first visit to Rome. The location was ideal - centrally located and walkable from Roma Termini. The neighborhood was nice and relatively quiet. We spent 3 nights in Rome seeing as much as we could and the location of this property helped make that possible. The property itself was magnificent. Our family of four was comfortable there, and the lift provided was great to have! The outdoor space really made this property - with a view of St. Peter's, the large, comfortable outdoor space was amazing, and we enjoyed many hours there relaxing and reviewing the amazing things we had seen each day. The hosts were extremely hospitable, going well above and beyond what was expected to make our stay perfect. Overall this is a tremendous property and anyone who stays here will be very happy with their choice!

Quiet location, great apartment, and amazing outdoor space.

My spouse and I chose this apartment for our four night stay in Rome and this was one of the best decisions we made for our trip. It's location is central and convenient, but is in a quiet part of town. The apartment had all the important conveniences, for us that was AC and a washing machine. Check-in was super easy and the host was super responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful location and apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The apartment itself is fantastic. It was clean and well stocked. The owner stocked the fridge with yogurt, eggs, juice, water, pop , milk and coffee. The two patios had amazing views over Rome and we spent a lot of time on them. The bed was comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and the heat was consistent. The location of the apartment was great. Close walking distance to everything but still in a quiet neighbourhood. There is an elevator to the 6th floor and you need to walk up one floor to the apartment. We hope to return in the future.

Great location, great outdoor area

Donatella was so easy to work with and very accommodating. She was kind enough to leave a few items of food for us to get started and shared some wonderful places to pick up other items we might want/need. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had a fabulous outdoor space. We needed to check in early and check out late, and even though someone was checking in after us she was able to let us store luggage for several hours after checkout. Thanks Donatella!

Spectacular Apartment

We loved staying at this apartment. The 360 degree balcony views were amazing. Donatella was a great host and easy to communicate with. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I felt like I was at home. She even left us some snacks and eggs, and juice in the refrigerator. I would highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Rome.

Live Like a Local - In Style!

We visited Rome with our 3-year old and wanted to stay in a place that was: 1. Not in the middle of all the touristy places (we wanted more of a local vibe); 2. Within walking distance of the places we wanted to visit; and 3. Had lots of great local shops and restaurants close by. We hit the jackpot with this property. Donatella was an exceptional property manager who kept in contact with us from check in through checkout. The home itself was fantastic, with an amazing view of the Roman rooftops (and St. Peter's Basilica in the background). There was nothing about our stay that was not exceptional. If you want a comfortable, cozy yet spacious place to stay in Rome away from all of the tourist buzz, you cannot do better!

Wonderful stay

Our host was amazing! She met us at the loft to check us in. She had filled the refrigerator with drinks and the cupboards with snacks. She was extremely receptive to any of our requests. She found us a driver to see the sites and made some terrific recommendations for restaurants. The loft was perfect and the view and breeze from the top terrace was breathtaking. Wish our stay was longer!
