Wonderful Holidays
The Villa Sophia is overall a very nice house, which consists of four apartments. It has a good location, because the beach is within walking distance. By bicycle it is only a 3 minute drive.
We had the apartment with a bedroom on the first floor. The apartment is well equipped and is very clean.
Something unpleasant were some ants in our apartment. These have sought in various ways the way into our apartment. But this is of course to tolerate in southern countries. We got from the Office an ant trap, so that eased the problem.
The staff of Al Parco was always friendly and courteous. We felt well looked after.
The bikes that you get provided during the stay, are functional, although safety concern (rusted, bad brakes). But for a short trip to the beach or to the northern center of Rosolina Mare they are okay.
For the barbeque grill you get a grid, which is however contaminated so (just like all the others who were available) that barbecuing without aluminum foil is not possible. New grids would be needed.
The apartment has air conditioning and a washing machine.
The usage costs are not included in the price given here. For the air conditioning 50 cents per kwh be calculated, for the washing machine 20 Euro per week. We recommend that for reasons of transparency these costs already indicated on the side of HomeAway. The situation is similar with the tax of 10 euros per person.
One can sum up by saying that we had two relaxing weeks and Rosolina Mare is a nice place for a holiday. There are numerous ways of his free time in the area to make (Chioggia, Venice, Ravenna, Rovigo, Po Delta, etc.)
That our stay was so relaxing, was in particular the fact that the ground floor (in the big apartment) among us a group of about 6 people lived only one day. The villa has a bad sound insulation between the floors, so the rooms are very noisy. We could almost hear every word when they spoke more loudly. In case of a longer stay of the said group, it would not certainly have been as enjoyable.
Also, due to the large number of persons who can live in the villa, it is quite possible that the available parking spaces are occupied and you'd have to park on the road but very narrow, which is not necessarily reassuring.If all four apartments are occupied, a previous assignment (by the office) of the available parking spaces on the respective apartments would be helpul.
