Ballinskelligs: Häuser

We spent one week in Ballinskelligs and had a great time there. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. Checking in was easy, too. There is a lot to visit - Kerry Cliffs, castles, ring forts and Skellig Michael, of course this is quite expensive. House and surroundings are quiet and peaceful, but there are several supermarkets in Cahersiveen and a small but well-equipped shop only a few minutes away. A clear recommendation from us - and congratulations to Kerrys win in the All Ireland Final 2025!

Das Haus liegt leicht erhöht mit einem Blick über den See. Empfangen wurden wir mit scones und tee. Im Kamin war bereits ein Feuer vorbereitet. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

This was our third trip to Ireland as a familiy and actually we had several accomodations, but Kate's Cottage was the best experience so far! This place is comfortable and the facilities are completely on a high standard. Most important is to mention, that Kate is an awesome host: We had several problems, where we needed support and Kate was incredibly helpful! Also Valentia Island is the perfect spot for family holiday, cause there is so much to do in the closer sorroundings and Knightstown is just lovely. We strongly hope, that we will get the chance to return someday!

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbar entspannte Wochen im Slate House. Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten und bietet viel Platz. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Es liegt ein paar wenige Autominuten vom Ortszentrum Cahersiveen auf einer Anhöhe in den Hügeln. Die Aussicht von dort ist fantastisch, auf der einen Seite der Blick über die Hügel, auf der anderen Seite kann man das Wasser sehen. Natur pur inklusive täglichem Besuch der benachbarten Kühe und Schafe. Das Slate House ist großartig, um sich zurückzuziehen und zu erholen. Für den Aufenthalt mit der gesamten Familie ist es bestens geeignet. Cahersiveen ist ein lebendiger Ort, in dem man alles finden kann, was man braucht und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden von Kerry, Ausflüge oder relaxte Tage an verschiedenen Stränden. This house is one of the best we have ever stayed in, a very warm, bright and friendly house, which is rarely seen in Ireland. We felt very comfortable, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. This summer / winter garden is a highlight, everything is there, what is needed. We highly recommend it. The area and the view can not be beat. Cleanliness is very important here. 10 points !!! and many asterisks. We will definitely be back, nice that we were allowed to be there. Thank you, thank you ..... - Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. - Da das Wetter eher schlecht war, waren wir froh, dass wir mit den Kleinkindern den großen Aufenthaltsrum im 1. Stock hatten. - Es war sehr angenehm, dass es 3 Bäder gibt.
