This was a super-convenient location near the Madrid Atocha train station. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood but walking distance to the main museums in Madrid. It was a perfect home-base for the three of us to explore Madrid.

Apartment was perfect for a family of four visiting Madrid for a few days. Very clean and functional with a full kitchen. Neighborhood is good and close to shops and grocery.

The check-in was very simple and we were pleased to walk into a nice, clean room. Our visit was less than 24 hours so we were not able to explore the area too much. The location was great as we were able to walk from the train station to the hotel and out again for dinner. Also, the hotel staff communicated very quickly with any questions I had using WhatsApp. Thank you, Smartr Atocha Reina Sofia!

Really comfortable apartment in a good area, close to Atocha transport hub and attractions such as the Reina Sofia and Prado Museums and the Retiro Park. Lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Only negative was trying to get used to the quirky lock on the apartment door.

Apartment was very nicely appointed. Clean and in good location. Only issues were firm matresses and incorrect exterior code was give multiple times before we received the correct one. Otherwise we would recommend this place

Good location, good room space with kitchen and washer. Very close to Atocha train station. There are some stain marks on the coach need to be cleaned so people can sit on it.

The lack of staff onsite is a problem. The instructions on using the access codes were very sketchy. I needed assistance but no one answered the phone when I called the number given. Then I was locked in my room because of a problem with the door. When I managed to get out, i could not lock the door behind me. Again, no answer to my phone call. It was clean and centrally located but I cannot recommend the place.

First, the check in was at 3, and the instructions were sent 3:20. We were already in Madrid and we didn't know if we had a place to stayed. They didn't answer the WhatsApp, we need to look for a phone with local SIM to call them to know what's going on. The AC was broken. We escalate the issue and they didn't do anything, just apologize by the inconvinience, we end up having to rest with Madrid heat without AC. Finally the coach bed was broken so I was very uncomfortable. Finally I can say the this accommodations where nobody put their face into the customers, is very easy to say just I'm sorry and let the customers help less. Poor customer services

Our stay was good. The property was clean and very nice. The only issue we had was that we had to call them to get the codes to get in. They did not send them to us.

The check in was a 3PM, and at this time I don't have the codes to open the place. I was already in Madrid and I tried to contact them via WhatsApp and nobody answered. I had to find a phone with a local SIM to contact them to see if I had a room or not. Once in the apartment, I reported the AC was not working, and they didn't do anything, just apologize for the inconvenience. Poor customer service. I rented also another room for some families, they had big trouble trying to open the door, the electronic door lock was not working properly, and they were able to enter almost at midnight, and during this time, they didn't care to send somebody to help, definitely they have a very poor customer service.

If you don’t have an internet access on the day of Check-in after 3:00 Pm, you might as well find another place to stay. Check in software needs more work to be fully functioning.

A clean and well positioned one night stay

We stayed for one night and were happy with the studio for this length of time. Very well equipped with plenty of space. Very close to the station it was good value for money and easily walkable to other areas of the city. The room was very clean. Downsides - we were on the ground floor and the “views” from the room were a little dismal - but for something so close to the station this was to be expected. I also had to chase the team running the location for the access codes and I would have expected to receive these at the time that check in was possible.

Would definitely book again.

Check in info received before arrival. Nice apartment. Plenty of dining or grocery shopping around. No WINE OPENER?! A towel in the kitchen would be useful to do minor dishes (apartment had a dishwasher, but traveling solo, didn’t really need it). Door to apartment let in some noise from people coming and going, but bedroom was quiet.

Our room was not the one we booked om hotels.com. the room showed on hotels.com has a balcony and bright light. The room we got was a dark and no balcony with very bad smell. When you open the window you can see the garage around.

desk staff has no flexibility dealing with credit card payments over the phone, I had phone issues upon reaching Madrid & the desk agent made me come to their office just to complete the payment process, just plain absurd since the office has my credit card info to reserve the unit, the agent could easily have easily processed the payment & give the entry code for the property over the phone, NO need for a subway ride to the office just to be given the entry code, what a hassle!
