Diese schöne 'Fisherman'-Suite mit einem Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen separaten Eingang auf der Rückseite des Hauses. Betreten Sie von einer privaten, eingezäunten und überdachten Veranda mit Platz für zwei Personen. Es gibt ein 3/4 Bad mit Dusche, ein Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und ein Einzelschlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Es gibt einen Smart-TV für diejenigen, die sich entspannen und eine Show ansehen möchten. Das Gerät verfügt auch über eine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und alle für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt notwendigen Geschirr.

Es gibt viele Parkplätze und Privatsphäre.

Jede oder alle Acanthus Suiten können für verschiedene Gruppengrößen gemietet werden!

Die Acanthus Suites sind eines der ersten wichtigen historischen Häuser von Friday Harbor. Es wurde 1913 erbaut und war ein Hochzeitsgeschenk für eine wohlhabende Kaufmannstochter. Es wurde wunderschön restauriert. Das Hotel liegt in der historischen Innenstadt von Friday Harbor. Nur 3 Blocks vom Fährhafen und dem Hafen von Friday Harbor entfernt. .

The communication and scheduling was easy and the unit is convenient and walkable to the main streets while still being quiet. Unfortunately there are several issues we reported to the property management company, including an overwhelming smell of mold/mildew in the bathroom that carried into the bedroom and a line of mold/mildew in the shower. There is a closed in closet next to the bed that appears to house the hot water heater which would run every time for 10mins after the water ran in any unit in the house. The small tv wall mount doesn’t move and was pointed towards the banquet so was very difficult to see from the couch. Overall the furniture placement is awkward as the space is an odd layout. Not a lot of outlets in the bedroom so recommend bringing an extra power strip for charging devices.

There was NO information/instructions on how to navigate the tv streaming. What platforms are available? What are the passwords? There is no lighting for the porch. Dangerous!! Dog friendly? Not so much. Way to many “don’t let your dog….” We are VERY careful about not letting our dog be a nuisance or damage property. We felt threatened if our dog breathed.

Great for Three Adults

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three adults stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding at Saltwater Farm. I slept on the pullout and found it quite sufficient and comfortable even though I'm pretty tall (5 8). We appreciated how centrally located the apartment was and how everything around the apartment was labeled. There was a nice grassy yard and a back deck with two chairs and a small table. Note that there are no hangers, so I recommend bringing your own if you have dresses or other things you want to hang up. There is no closet but the hooks in the bedroom with the hangers we brought from home were more than fine.Thanks for such a great spot! We loved our stay and Friday Harbor.

Overall a good stay in the Fisherman Suite. Some items to consider: Noise from the parking lot is real and garbage day is EARLY on Wednesdays. The shower is TINY. My husband is 6'4 and fit and he was barely able to move around. The pull out bed is terrible with no way to make it better. The kitchenette (mini fridge/microwave) is nice as is the eating area. I would recommend a larger TV and perhaps a TV in the bedroom as well. Excellent location with plenty of parking.

Peaceful Stay in Friday Harbor

I loved how easy it was to arrange and stay. This location is walking distance to restaurants, waterfront and shopping in Friday Harbor. The yard is beatifully kept and the home is clean. I loved having the small kitchen as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the refrigerator was a small/half size refrigerator so had to squat down every time to get anything out of it. It would be perfect for toddlers. Highly suggest that it be raised up on a pedestal so that grown adults don't have to squat down to the floor to get anything out of it.

This space was fine. It is very close to town, so the location is great. It is a quirky set up, but overall the space was fine. The check in is a little confusing, but overall I enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot!

Great little apartment just a short walk from town. Ample parking, quiet neighborhood and very comfortable accommodations for our needs. The pullout sleeper couch was a bit on the short side so probably not great if you’re over 5’5” but otherwise very comfortable.

Marvelous location

The quaint little apartment was just a few minutes walk to the center of the hustle and bustle of Friday Harbor. Absolutely adorable. Only suggestion I would have is more facilities to cook. There was only a microwave. A stove, oven, would make a massive improvement and make the place perfect.

Tiny bed and bath, my child used the pull out so no other place to sit. One towel per person for 4 days, Worlds tiniest tv placed far away with no instructions. Nice porch, but uncomfortable chairs. It was clean, but not very comfortable or special in any way. Clearly very little effort put into this unit.

Reviewer Comments: After arriving at Friday Harbor by ferry it was a pleasant and easy walk to the Acanthus Suites. Beautiful old house of the craftsman style, historic too. We left our bags there and walked down to the wharf and had dinner. It was delicious and the Washington state wines were excellent, the views, tremendous!When we got back to the VRBO we turned in for the night. Very early, I mean very early the next morning a trash truck drove into our backyard, under our bedroom window and emptied 3, yes 3 dumpsters. It jarred us awake. We stumbled into the kitchen to make coffee and to our surprise and consternation there was no coffee, sugar or nondairy creamer!This is a charming house and neighborhood, but the unit is not ready for prime time yet! Not up to VRBO standards. Don’t stay here if you know what’s good for you. One last comment. The unit is advertised on the VRBO web site as being $62 per night but after all the extra fees was well over $200 per night.We stayed two nights and paid $400 plus! Yes! $400 and no coffee!We stayed and paid but will never do it again. Hiway robbery is more like it. Stay far, far away!
