PERFECT fit!

Beautiful exterior. Well maintained and amply stacked with basic necessities. Bedrooms and washrooms clean and welcoming decor. Close to the beach and 10 minute drive to Bayfield.

Weekend at the Signal

The Signal was even more beautiful in person than the photos we saw! The hosts were extremely helpful and managed to provide some extra items that we were unable to bring to the cottage. In general, I feel we could maybe use some extra time for check-out to go though the cottage once more to ensure everything was back in place, but left in a hurry. Thank you for the memories. We had a wonderful stay at the Signal.

We truly enjoyed ourselves. The host was quick to respond.to any questions we had. The guide for using the cottage and surrounding area was helpful. We loved our time at the beach. The cottage is beautiful, clean and bed was perfect. The cottage was stocked with all the essentials. Great get away!

Early Fall Getaway

We stayed at this cottage for 3 nights in October and had a wonderful experience. The space was spotless, quiet, and very spacious, with a stylish design that made it feel both comfortable and welcoming. The location was excellent, it was just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, a perfect getaway spot that we would gladly return to and highly recommend!

It was a lovely cottage. Extra attention was given to small details, the welcome gift for us and the dog. The dog bed in the primary bedroom was awesome. It felt like our own home away from home the minute we walked in. The only negatives I can give is that in the extreme heat and humidity the A/C in the upstairs bedrooms left much to be desired, extra fans are a must. The stairs to and from the beach weren’t ideal for us older out of shape people. But we mustered through and it was wonderful to have a little private beach space to enjoy, away from the crowds from the big cities. All in all it was totally worth it and my family had a great week.

Fall Getaway at a beautiful cottage

I couldn't resist a last minute getaway to take advantage of the summerlike temperatures in October. Jennifer didn't disappoint and found the perfect cottage for me and my water loving lab, Kona. The cottage was beautiful (more like an upscale house) in a private community 5 minutes from Bayfield. We had a one minute walk to the lake and had the beach all to ourselves. I have rented cottages from Jennifer many times and this one is something special.

What a beautiful cottage.

What a beautiful cottage. Fireplace was on when we arrived. Made it nice and cozy from the start. Well appointed kitchen and a comfy roomy couch. Backyard is lovely and private with nice fire area. Bedrooms were spacious and roomy. Had a fantastic weekend. This is the 2nd cottage that I have stayed in through this contact. The first one was just as nice!

Birthday retreat at the Signal

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at the Signal! It was a mini celebration for my sister’s 70th birthday! We were welcomed with treats for us and the dogs with soothing background music- it was a warm hug after a long drive! The cottage is lovely and well appointed , much larger than we expected, with extremely comfortable beds and furnishings! Our goal was to enjoy the lake and area sights , which we did! Great wineries/cidaries, restaurants , farmer markets , apiaries, shopping and local parks/ beaches filled our time to overflowing ! We enjoyed our strolls along the lake with the dogs ! Goderich and Bayfield were our favourite towns to visit ! Thank you to Jennifer and team for making our stay a special memory !

Très belle maison avec une cuisine complète. C'était trws propre et nous avions toute l'information necessaire poour faire fonctionner la maison:AC, laveuse etc. Nous avons pu profité de la plage a 1 minute de marche ainsi que toutes les autres a proximité de la maison em voiture. Jennifer a vraiment été une bonne hôte et elle etait disponible au besoin si on avait des questions. Nous avions un chien egalement et la maison était parfaite pour lui. Je recommande
