Perfect Maine lakeside camp with all the amenities you could need for your stay. The beds were super comfortable (memory foam), the heater kept us toasty warm, the furnishings were clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular! A quiet, peaceful location...just perfect!

Beautiful Serene Lakefront Stay

We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, reading, hiking, listening to the loons, playing games and watching movies on the one rainy day we had. We especially appreciate that we were able to bring our dog who also had a great time!

Lack of privacy - the bedrooms have no doors - just curtains; the bedrooms and the bathroom share one open ceiling above them so everybody can hear and smell everything that goes on in the bathroom as well as the bedrooms.

From the owner:"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As noted in our photos, the camp has an open-concept floor plan with curtains separating the bedrooms. This design was created to reflect the feel of a traditional family camp by the lake, where spaces flow openly and naturally. We understand that this layout may not provide the same level of privacy as homes with enclosed rooms, and we appreciate your comments as we continue to consider thoughtful updates in the future."

Beautiful and Peaceful

Great little cottage. They had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable! I was impressed the owner reached out to us after we got there to be sure we knew to let them know if we needed anything. Cottage is on a quiet part of the lake. Could hear lots of birds chirping and the loons calling. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet.Will definitely book another stay!

It is always nice to be at the lake and we did enjoy that but there were several things that were disappointing.The inside of the camp was clean, but the two chairs provided in the living area were very uncomfortable. We arrived on Monday and spent most of Tuesday cleaning. The deck floor and stairs were very dirty and my husband scrubbed them, as well as all the screens and the windows that we could reach. It took an hour and a half to clean the grill that was filthy. We went home and got our chairs to put on the deck.It was difficult getting down to the dock and water. Stairs would have been nice..The dock should be longer with an area so people could sit there. The view of the lake was mostly obscured by the trees. Although we realize you cannot cut the trees down legally I'm sure you could trim at least some of the dead branches. We rent a cottage every year and for the money we paid for this one, it was our least enjoyed. We will not return nor would we recommend it.
