Ein klassisches Maine Urlaubsziel! Ernest Thompson blieb auf Long Pond beim Schreiben seiner 1979 Stück "On Golden Pond". Unser Haus verfügt über eine der schönsten Ansichten auf der südlichen Ende des berühmten See, und man alles aus dem Inneren unserer 12'x24 'Siebdeck genießen. Diese kundenspezifische Landhaus bietet alle die Privatsphäre und die Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie in einem Ferienhaus suchen. Ideal für ein Paar, Paare oder kleine Familien, die einen erholsamen Rückzug auf Kajak, Fischen oder Boot. Wir bieten eine neue Küche, Bad und drei Schlafzimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten und zwei Einzelbetten in gebaut. Alles ist neu und hohe Qualität, auch die Bettwäsche, Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Wir haben auch eine Waschmaschine und Trockner, WiFi, Badeplattform, große Schwimmsteg, Ankerplatz, und viele Meilen von ruhigen ruhigen Straßen, Ihr Haustier oder joggen zu gehen. Long Pond bietet fast 3.000 Hektar großen, wunderschönen Maine Gewässer mit Inseln, Kiefern, Seetaucher und Weißkopfseeadler. Mehr als genug für eine große Woche der Kajak, Rudern oder was auch immer Sie Ihren Sommer Interessen sind. Long Pond ist eine tiefe, klare See und ideal zum Schwimmen. Von allen Beldgrade Lakes, ist Long Pond die am wenigsten entwickelten und unberührtesten. Fahren oder gehen Sie mit dem Boot in die Stadt Belgrade Lakes zum Abendessen oder Eis. Ein klassisches Sommerurlaubsgebiet, Long Pond und das Belgrade Lakes Gegend sind zu bitte sicher. Ca. 3 Stunden von Boston.

The cottage and the location are absolutely beautiful. We spent our week reading on the dock and exploring Long Pond via kayak. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen was well-appointed and had all the utensils and pots/pans you could need. We've already booked for next year!

What a wonderful house this is! The house is clean and well stocked with a gorgeous view of the pond. We heard the loons every day. Kayaking on the pond was so peaceful. We love to hike and there a dozen nice trails within 30 minutes. Our little beagle had fun too!

Wow- a fabulous cozy cottage on the lake

This cottage was awesome! It was quite chilly while we were there so we did not go in the lake. But the cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable. It had every supply that you could possibly need. We had our two fur babies with us and they loved it. The dirt road goes on forever - we took walks on the dirt road every morning and evening. It was beautiful. Scott was very responsive to any of my questions . Looking at at the lake from the screened in porch,and the living room was an amazing view of the lake and so serene. I would highly recommend this cottage as a place to stay in the spring, summer and/or fall! Thanks Scott for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with us!

Excellent stay

We had a great time in Maine and this property was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as described on Vrbo. We communicated with Scott the owner when needed and he was very responsive to our questions. The location was central to local shopping for groceries (Day’s). The property was also within 30 mins to other towns that were of interest. Nice weather allowed us to hike some of the local trails, and the views were over the top. We were able to see the northern lights right from the dock. Overall a great relaxing vacation and stay. Thanks

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the serenity of the pristine lakefront property. Scott replied immediately to some minor issues, and overall everything provided in the cabin was practical and comfortable. We rented a small motor boat nearby and were able to dock it at the cabin. I even caught a good sized bass right from the dock!

Tranquility and Serenity

This was one of the best places I have stayed. Two friends of mine and I usually do a girls paddle week at the lake. This year, my husband was with me for the first part of the week and friends arrived for second part. All was great! The lake, the kayaking (we had our own) and the peacefulness of Long Pond. We were all so happy with this cabin! It had everything we needed and was pristine! Thank you Scott for a great week!!

Paddling vacation

The cottage and its location were perfect for us. We brought our kayaks and explored almost every corner of the large lake during our week stay. The lake is relatively calm, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming. The dock is a great place to relax and catch the morning sun. The cottage had everything we needed!

PERFECT!

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our vacation getaway! It was very comfortable - nicely decorated, and the porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place to hang. The one small drawback was that the dish network was out (probably from recent storms) but that wasn't a big deal for us. We loved every minute of our stay!

Wonderful Spot

We’ve been vacationing in the Belgrade lakes for the past 5 years. We usually like to mix it up and change lakes and find new places. I don’t think we will be doing that anymore. We have found the perfect spot and plan to return to this house next year. We loved it!

Perfect Family Vacation

Have stayed at this house before, loved it then and loved it this time too! Perfect location! Had everything we needed! It was the perfect vacation! Day trips to all the "touristy" places and then returned to the peace and quiet! Our family had great success fishing and were able to moor the boat right at the dock in front of the house! Our family has stayed at Scott's neighboring property and it is equally perfect! Will definitely stay there again!

Graduation Celebration

Our stay at the Belgrade Lakes cabin was the perfect way to celebrate our son’s graduation. The setting is remote and peaceful. The porch overlooking the lake was the perfect space to hang out with our adult kids and catch up. The birdwatching was fun - we saw, loons, owls and egrets while eating dinner on the porch- the view of the lake is really special! The cabin is super tidy and has everything you need to serve a meal for five. It’s also decorated in a cute fishing theme - although we didn’t hook any- we know they were there. The kids had a golf outing at Belegrade Lakes. We dined at Slates in Hallowell, the Woodshed in Manchester and Front and Main in Waterville- all the outings were unique and special- although a bit far away. My only regret is that I didn’t have a few more days to hang out, fish and draw and soak up this beautiful spot.

Lovely Family Retreat

We can’t say enough about this cottage. Tastefully updated. Private. Amazing screened in porch with panoramic views of the lake. Perfect dock + floating dock combo. Tucked away in a nice little cove with perfect temperate water and terrain for swimming. We’ve stayed at 5 different spots on Belgrade Lakes and this was our favorite. A bit of a drive to town but still worth it. If we could do over, would rent a fishing boat from Castle Island and that would negate the distance from town by giving a straight across the lake option for errands or dinner/ice cream. Would recommend to all!

Fairytale cottage with all modern comforts

Every corner of the lakeside cottage was adorable and charming, with every room having architectural detail and on point decor. Immaculately clean with a beautiful view and great dock with a swim raft as well. Air conditioning in every room! Super sunny charming bedrooms! Never had a kitchen well stocked with spices and foil/saran wrap, etc. before, what a treat. We and our dogs absolutely loved it! Can't recommend it highly enough.

PEACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL!!!

I can’t say enough about this little gem!! It is located on a beautiful pristine lake that has to be one of the most peaceful locations we’ve ever stayed. We brought our kayaks and we’re the only ones out on the water, other than the 2 loons that joined us!!! A very special place! Decorated beautifully and clean!!! Pure relaxation!

What a wonderful getaway! The house was absolutely lovely with so many little extra touches in the workmanship to admire and appreciate. The view was absolutely stunning by day as well as the starry skies by night. We were able to catch the Orionid Meteor shower during our stay. Captivating! Beautiful walks...So quiet...So peaceful...So enjoyable. It was also a great location to go out and explore nearby sceneries, towns, and shops like The Maine Cabin Masters in Kennebec and Fielders Choice Ice Cream Shop. Maine coastal towns were not too far for us to visit as well. It was time well spent. Our only complaint was that the week went by so quickly. Thank you for having us and for making it a such a comfortable retreat!

This property had the best location we had seen on Long Pond, we couldn't resist the view, clear water and privacy.

The best thing about this cottage is that you are in 'real' cottage country when you are here. There are no long strips of overdevelopment on your drive to our place, and there no noisy highways, or large resort operations on this lake chain. We are at the end of a beautiful, quiet, country road, with great privacy. Best of all, the heavily forested shoreline of the lake means that when you are on the water, you see trees and loons, not cottages!
