Wonderful place! Very cozy and our host Tammy was very attentive, the place is surrounded by wildlife that it makes the views so beautiful at night and day. I would love to come again !!

Great place to stay during the long weekend! The location was perfect the house very clean and well set up and the kitchen was perfectly set up for us to cook dinners and grill outside. Tammi was also a super helpful host, will definitely come back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The house had everything we needed and felt so cozy and inviting. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Yosemite. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with amazing views!

Can’t wait to be back

This house has exceeded our expectations. Our stay was so relaxing exactly what we needed. The house is exactly what the pictures show the kitchen is fully equipped and loved that we were able to grill in the backyard and do s’mores with the kids. Kids room is so spacious they loved it. It is located so close to the grocery store and dining. We can’t wait to book our next stay.

Perfect fit for our stay

This was a perfect location and property for our guys trip to Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks. It is in a quiet complex outside of town but close enough to Oakhurst and Bootjack/Mariposa that anything you might need is only a short trip away. The house big enough for 7 grown men to sleep without feeling crowded. The kitchen was well stocked pots/pans/silverware/dishes for making meals. The dishwasher worked great and was a must for us.(nobody wants to do dishes when traveling) Tammi responded to a couple of our questions immediately and was very helpful. We spent our days in the Parks and our nights lounging and talking or playing cards. Would definitely recommend Tammi and the Solace if you are planning to get away in this area! My Brother-in-law and I will be looking to bring our wives out to Yosemite and are planning to stay here again.

I can't give it a minus 5 because it's not possible.

The house has a lot of mice. There's a nest in the cabinet above the stove, a tray of old food in the oven, and the garden dining area is filthy, especially the seats. The house hasn't been cleaned in ages and smells like dead mice. I sent photos to the owner, and he said they could clean by the next day. He lied; he never cleaned and refuses to give me anything less than a refund. The kitchen was unusable due to hygiene concerns. His only response was that he didn't have anyone to clean the house.

Pros: decent location near Yosemite. Decent rental if you plan on spending most of your time in the parks. Owner responded quickly to emails. Cons: the only bathroom is located inside the master bedroom and is only accessible if you go into the bedroom. This made it challenging for a group of 4 adults. Lack of extra towels and toilet paper (they were provided after emailing the host). Zen den was not clean and had rat feces making it inaccessible. Kitchen could use more tools. The master bedroom does not have its own AC, and the vent going into the masterbedroom does not work. Only way to get cool air into the master bedroom is to leave the door open all night. The main AC in the living room can be loud when set on highest setting and made it challenging to watch TV and sleep. The views from outside the rental are okay, nothing exciting or unique.
