We had a wonderful stay at Nature’s Tranquility. The house was right in between the Arch Rock entrance and the south entrance of Yosemite, and we used both. The house had plenty of amenities and room for my family and my sister’s family so we could all enjoy our summer trip together.

This property is amazing! Enough room for 11 of us, all rooms and bathrooms are nicely updated and decorated, and the outside views are spectacular! Booking and check in were smooth. However, at the time of our booking, the property was listed as accommodating 11 people, which we discovered was not the case. The master bedroom alone was reported to have 2 king beds and 2 queen beds, but when we checked in, there was only 1 king. We promptly messaged the owner. He apologized for any confusion and stated that the available beds should be enough for our number of guests. The property listing on VRBO was then immediately changed to show 1 bed in the master, and the number of guests was lowered. Additionally, the pull out couch is listed in an office, but that “office” is in the common living space with no privacy, or window coverings to keep out morning light.Also, be aware that the temperature is difficult to control in the house. One of the bedrooms has no vents, so the first night we struggled to feel warm enough. The second night we slept with bedroom doors open.

Great stay at a lovely property. Host was so very helpful with questions from where to eat to tips on Yosemite. Communication was quick and efficient. Loved the fact that there were multiple larger beds so that my college boys didn’t have to share sleeping spaces. Don’t forget to step outside at night and look at the night sky. It was stunning to see the stars so clearly. Highly recommend!

Perfect base camp for weekend getaway!

Mostly good except for a few glitches

The stay was good and comfortable. But the master bathroom didn’t have hot water. Please fix that.I have a suggestion as well. We wanted to sit out and chat at night but the mosquitoes were not too friendly. In the gazebo if you put retractable mesh screens, it will be great.Other than these two things, everything else was satisfactory.

Thank you for staying with us. The master bathroom does have hot water you just need to rotate the knob a bit. It is a little different than other knobs. I wouldn’t have mind helping but I didn’t know you had that issue. Glad you enjoyed everything else.

Nice property but farther then anticipated

The property was great once we got there. Also the communication with the owner was very fast. It took us much longer to get there than anticipated, however . Coming from Yosemite it took us 1.5 hours while the map when plotting from the property to Yosemite is only 40 minutes. Just be aware and plot in both directions so you can set your expectation properly.

Quiet and Tranquil- wheelchair friendly

We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view. As a traveler who uses a full-time manual wheelchair, it’s often difficult for me to find a short term rental without stairs and with a bathroom large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. And it’s especially difficult to find one that is off the beaten path with a beautiful view. This property was all of those things. The host was very quick to reply to all of my questions. I would definitely stay here again and I’m already looking for an excuse to come back!

Awesome and clean place.

In our stay at the property we were very comfortable, very clean and comfortable facilities. Internet access is super easy and fast, we were 7 people and we used the internet without problems. Very quiet to get home and relax. Access to the property is a little confusing, but nothing that can't be fixed with GPS. The communication with the owner of the property was excellent, always aware of everyone, quick responses to our concerns. We would definitely stay in the place again.

Pretty good place near Yosemite

It's so hard to find excellent and affordable places to stay near Yosemite, but Daniel's place checked a lot of the right boxes and we had a great time. Some cons: a few maintenance issues along the way, relatively slow internet shared between two dwellings, a kitchen that's not outfitted well for making family-sized meals, very limited cleaning supplies to keep up with family needs, and a long drive from Ahwahnee to Yosemite. Also some pros: very big space to spread out, nicely shaded outdoor features for relaxing, basic needs all well-met, very friendly and communicative host, and not far from Oakhurst for groceries, supplies, a few restaurants (definitely check out Smokehouse 41!), and some fun local hikes.

Yosemite has always had a special place for our family. When the opportunity arose to purchase a vacation home I knew exactly where to look. After some time I felt like the perfect place for us was just not going to happen. After several months of looking we fell in love with the property and it's gorgeous views and wild life that surrounded it.

Deer often love to visit our property, along with wild turkey and beautiful feathered friends.. The scenic views of Yosemite's Mountains from our property are astonishing. Once you step inside your home you will feel as if you walked into a luxurious resort. We have several amenities and exclusive features throughout the home. A Sleep Number Bed in the master bedroom will ensure a tranquil nights sleep. The kids room is equipped with many games and activities including a full sized Arcade game. A private bathroom is fully equipped with handicapped accessibility including a walk in shower and rails. Outside you will be able to charge your EV car prior to your trip to Yosemite. You and your special people can step outside to the large deck and Gazebo with a fire pit and plenty of outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy the view.
