We had a lovely time! The place was beautiful, clean, and well equipped (with kayaks/life jackets, fishing gear, and games). The pond is gorgeous and has plenty of ducks, turtles and fish.

We were looking for a quiet getaway with lake access and this was a great spot. We were able to fish and kayak. The house was clean and big enough for the family. It was far enough away to enjoy nature but still close enough to stores and restaurants. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend this home.

Great place with fun for all ages.

Once you put your feet up by the fire and gaze out on to the pond, watch all the stress evaporate from your body. Our stay was awesome. We recommend staying here and plan on making it an annual trip. We want to thank our hosts for having everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Cheers, Mark

We really enjoyed our stay here on the water. The house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, and the use of space was really well done. We (4 older women) felt very comfortable in the house. We found the beds and furniture to be comfortable - the living room furniture is exceptionally comfy and we watched a few movies in the evenings with the Roku TV. The kitchen contained the usual basics and we cooked a few breakfasts and lunches there after a trip to a nearby supermarket. We also enjoyed the many outdoor seating options available for relaxing out by the water. We were there for just a few weekday nights but found it to be a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for a nice little getaway by the water.

Beautiful lake front property

Hosts were very nice and property was beautiful! The lake view was amazing and serine. There were 4 adults visiting family locally and plenty of room! There was security doors which made us feel safe! My only recommendation is the beds were like sleeping on a sidewalk! When staying away from home, it is hard to sleep, so a more comfortable mattress would have been nice.

Overall good stay….

Overall the listing it very nice. The location is not as secluded as the listing looks and very close to the neighbors (especially the outdoor entertaining area). The street to get to the property was a long dirt road with trailers and a trailer park essentially which was also not mentioned in the listing.

Week Getaway

The house had a wonderful lake view and lots of outdoor sitting areas. Very clean and a well-stocked kitchen. The stairs to the upstairs where the bedrooms are would be a challenge for elderly people and impossible for folks with mobility issues. They are steep and winding. One bedroom did not have air conditioning but did have an overhead fan. No TVs in the bedrooms but it didn’t matter to us. The entertainment center (TV, sound, WII) was excellent. Super for adults - not ideal for young kids because of the stairs. I would stay there again.

Pros: The views of the lake are beautiful - especially during the fall when the trees are turning. Check in was easy (but had to call to get the instructions). The house is equipped with Roku tv and the bathroom has a heater. Cons: Zero response from the owner despite multiple direct messages through VRBO. Had to call customer service to get check in instructions - never got any for check out. Other: I’m glad I read prior reviews and knew the property was right next to neighbors and at the end of a road that was less than inviting. The house is nice and pictures are accurate but this is not a place for anyone with mobility issues. Of the three beds, two were missing the flat sheets, and no blankets were provided (outside temps ranged from 39-60). Neighbors have goats who came over to visit - very friendly but tried to get in the house and in our car as we entered.
