Genießen Sie dieses fantastische Seehaus in New Hampshire. Das von Bäumen umgebene Cape Guinevere ist der perfekte Rückzugsort für einen ruhigen Urlaub mit landschaftlicher Schönheit, wo immer Sie hinschauen. Das zentral am Baxter Lake gelegene Cape Guinevere befindet sich etwa 30 Minuten von Portsmouth und dem Lake Winnipesaukee entfernt. Der Berg Gunstock, Loudon, Laconia, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Wolfeboro, Concord, Newburyport, Manchester und Hampton Beach sind alle innerhalb von 1 Stunde erreichbar.

Das Kap Guinevere erstreckt sich über zwei Stockwerke und bietet eine Wohnfläche von fast 2.000 Quadratmetern. 4 Schlafzimmer (2 Queensize-Betten, 1 Doppelbett, 2 Einzelbetten), 2. 5 Badezimmer, Bettwäsche und Handtücher inklusive, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit vielen Utensilien und Küchenutensilien, ein riesiger Tisch für 10 Personen und Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien auf Picknicktischen . Wir haben ein komplettes Thanksgiving-Abendessen für 14 Personen am Kap Guinevere veranstaltet, und alles hat sich als großartig herausgestellt!

Das Cape Guinevere liegt etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Strand am Baxter Lake entfernt auf einer ruhigen und sicheren Straße. Von hier aus können Sie schwimmen, Kajaks starten, ein Boot starten oder einfach die Aussicht genießen. Wir befinden uns direkt an der Stadtgrenze von Farmington und Rochester. In Rochester, 15 Autominuten entfernt, finden Sie zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (große Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Home Depot, Lowe's, Restaurants, Tankstellen, Dienstleistungen usw.).

Sie benötigen ein Auto, um nach Cape Guinevere zu gelangen, aber zum Glück haben wir ausreichend Parkplätze für 6-8 Autos. Dort können Sie zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad die Straße rauf und runter fahren. Sie werden auch Leute sehen, die ATVs, Motorräder oder Schneemobile fahren, abhängig von der Jahreszeit.

Cape Guinevere ist das perfekte Zuhause für vier Jahreszeiten mit hervorragender Isolierung und Heizung für den Winter und zentraler Klimaanlage für den Sommer.

Kicking Back Along Camelot Shores

Our hosts could not have been more thoughtful or any more hospitable. They had an uncanny ability to anticipate any want and/or need and customized their property to optimize our guest experience. The home is spacious and cozy at the same time. The outdoor area and fire pit made for memorable evenings. The location along the shores of Baxter Lake was convenient for all the activities that we engaged in. I highly recommend spending time at Camp Guenevere. Make certain to plan in advance as this property is very popular and justifiably so. Thank you.

UNH Graduation Weekend

We picked this property because of the location (about 25 minutes from the University of New Hampshire), size (we had 6 adults, needed 4 bedrooms) and dog-friendliness (had to bring our guy). Communication with Jason was easy. He promptly answered my questions as they came up. The cabin was spotless! Pictures and description were accurate. The neighborhood is adorable! The beach was a short walk from the house. We lucked out and had a beautiful summer day (in mid May). We took advantage of the kayaks and beach chairs and spent the whole day with our graduate on the beach! I would highly recommend this property for families. My only regret is not staying longer!

Wonderful place

Clean, well-maintained house. Many amenities above and beyond. Even generous supply of firewood. Not sure I'll ever be back in that area but if I am, that's where I'm staying. Jason was very helpful with communication before and during our visit. FIVE STARS! You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous Family Vacation

We have rented many vacation properties for our annual family vacation, but this property is absolutely the best of the best! It's so comfortable and accommodating for the adults, grandchildren and even our 4 month old grandson. We enjoyed the lake during the day and the firepit at night. Nice Christmas getaway

Our family stayed at this home near Baxter Lake over the Christmas week and had a very nice time. Very close to Rochester for shopping etc. All the necessities were provided and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the well frozen lake. Great ice fishing!

Cozy and comfortable

We loved our stay at Cape Guinevere! The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beaches are nice and close. We are grateful we got to bring our dogs with us on vacation. We had lots of fun swimming with them at the dog beach. Owners are great!

Guinevere was perfect!

This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!

Amazing weekend getaway in New Hampshire

My friends and I rented this home for a long weekend stay, and were delighted with everything from the pre-arrival communication, to the home itself, to the location. It was located close enough that all of our plans were less than 30 minutes away: hiking, winery tour, hanging out in Portsmouth. Everything was clean and organized, and the owner was quick to respond to questions that I had. There was even a dog bed available! Thank you for letting us rent your relaxing, beautiful home!

Fantastic lake home

The coziest birthday getaway

Came to stay for my birthday weekend with a few friends to be cozy by the fireside and play board games. It ended up being -2 Fahrenheit for most of the time we were there, but we were snug and happy at Cape Guinevere! Everything was spotless, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at any VRBO/BnB. The owner is so friendly and easy to communicate with. Really a wonderful experience. We hope to return for future cozy getaways!

Perfect family getaway

This is the nicest off the beaten path lake getaway! We stayed here with our adult children this summer- all boys except for the Mom! It was perfect. Very clean and close to three beaches. The lake was good for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. We were able to tube when the lake wasn’t too busy which was mid afternoon every day. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is exactly as described and the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. All of the amenities were provided. I would stay here again and likely will.

Wonderful stay at Baxter Lake

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Cape Guinevere on Baxter Lake. The house is welcoming and spotless; everything you could need is there. It's comfortable and the perfect size...7 of us adults stayed and never once felt cramped. Jason gives you one of the best and most helpful welcome packets before your stay and everything went as expected! We would definitely book to stay here again. We sadly didn't get to use the very cute fire pit area, and I wish we had gotten to spend even more time on the beautiful beach which is a very short walk from the house. Thank you Jason!

Fun rural escape with friends!

Some friends and I rented this property and had an absolute blast. Jason was incredible with communication and went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. The place is very nice and clean, but is somewhat far from a lot of the area’s attractions. This isn’t an issue as long as you plan for it! If you’re looking for an escape where you feel far away from the city, it’ll be perfect for you. I’d definitely recommend staying here, you’ll have a great time!

Expectations Exceeded!

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Cape Guinevere on Baxter Lake is spacious, well stocked, very clean and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for our large family. Winter Get Away!

The house was the perfect getaway from the city for a few nights. We arrived shortly after a major snowfall, and seeing everything in white was quite lovely. The house had plenty of room for all of us - 4 bedrooms, cozy living room, a huge kitchen/dining area, and fast Wifi (because....I couldn't fully disconnect from the world!) Jason communicated quickly and clearly, and my hunch is that he would have been responsive if any problems arose (they didn't)! Loved the place - looking forward to our return.

Perfect New England Vacation

We spent a week in this lovely, immaculate and comfortable home. Our family rages in age from 7 to 68 years old, and every one of us enjoyed this vacation. The location was perfect. There are a couple small beaches that we could walk to but we were close enough to drive to Ogunquit Maine to spend a day at the ocean beach. We even spent a day at Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoyed that beautiful area. When we were just relaxing at home, there were plenty of board games to play, and we even enjoyed sitting around the fire pit a couple evenings. We had such a wonderful time. The homeowner was so quick to answer our questions and was very accommodating. Our family agrees that this is a rental home that we all want to return to!

We purchased Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake in 2016 from a lovely family who built the home in the 90’s and intended to retire here. We live in Newburyport, but have been vacationing in New Hampshire at Baxter Lake for many years. In fact, our family members retired right down the street from Cape Guinevere! Baxter Lake is close enough from Boston for a quick hour-and-forty-minute drive up after work, but it's a world away from the city. No light pollution, clean air, quiet and tranquil, Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake is the perfect escape for a long weekend, or a full week's vacation in the summer.

You can tell from the home’s craftsmanship, attention-to-detail, and structural integrity that the original owners truly expected to live here year round, and for many years. It's a destination unto itself, but also close enough to grocery stores, hardware stores, craft stores, and restaurants (15 minutes away), skiing (45 minutes away), and day trips under an hour (Ogunquit, Dover, Portsmouth, Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, Maine, Outlet Shopping).

We escape the city for our home in the woods as often as possible, but we also love sharing our home with responsible families and groups of friends who will treat our home respectfully.
