We’re sorry to hear that the location within the complex, parking limitations, and warmer temperatures did not meet your family's needs. For future guests to note, we want to clarify that the home is advertised as not having air conditioning, and fans are provided for additional comfort. We understand that your stay coincided with particularly warm weather, and that the temperatures were uncomfortable for your group, especially in the loft. Also for future guests to note, our listings and photos are accurate and up to date and the parking is managed by the Lakeland Village HOA. We unfortunately have no control over the amount of parking passes that are available for this home, however it is stated in the listing that only 2 parking passes are available during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We hope the information provided here is helpful to future guests when determining whether this home is the best fit for their stay. Thank you for staying with us!

We spoke to the company who manages the neighboring unit once we received your review, as we did not hear about this during your stay. For future guests to note, please reachout to us if you are having any issue and we will help right away. They confirmed that they had an emergency plumber out within the day to resolve the sewage problem. While the unit is near Lake Tahoe Blvd, this also means that there is unparalleled access to the restaurants, activities, and beauty of South Lake Tahoe from the unit. We hope that despite the issues that were experienced, that you had a great time in Tahoe!

We can understand how disappointing it is to notice paint, litter, and small maintenance issues that made the property feel run-down during your stay, especially when you were looking forward to relaxing. For Lakeland Village townhomes, we manage the interior of the property, while anything exterior is maintained by the buildings and grounds team for the on-site HOA. We'll relay your notes about the grounds and pool area to their maintenance team for further review and guest enhancements. We do have active wildlife in the area year-round, and Lakeland Village is an easy target for refuse, which is why we have signage and verbiage in place about proper garbage pickup protocols. We would have loved the opportunity to address any of these cited issues in real time during your stay so you could continue enjoying your Tahoe trip, our Guest Relations team is available 7 days a week from 9am–6pm by phone, text, email, or VRBO message thread, with 24/7 after-hours support on our main company line, and we noticed you were already in touch with us about the forced air system in the home; so that same channel would have been a great way to flag any of these items as well. I'm glad we were able to make early check-in happen for your group as our teams inspect each home before and after every guest stay.
