Start your day with a morning coffee on the back porch soaking in the tranquil lake views whilst watching pelicans cruise by. Come the evening, relax with a drink as you watch the magical sunsets and enjoy dining al fresco in the outdoor entertaining space., If you prefer, bring the cooking indoors and enjoy cooking in the kitchen featuring modern design touches and beautiful timber finishes. Appalling neighbour and terrible property managers
We were told the evening before via email from the property manager that we could have an early check-in- 11am. We arrived at 11am and asked for the entry code then were told they didn’t allow early check- by, a different operator and they would not change the code time from 3pm to 11am and they didn’t care what email they had sent. We had to wait around until 3pm to get in. Then we found the bins were overflowing with maggots, sour milk and part of an old birthday cake left in the fridge, a dirty pool and deck, outdoor sofas that were so stained we didn’t want to sit in them. During our short stay we then had to endure multiple complaints from the immediate neighbours who don’t want anyone parking in or using the shared driveway irrespective of the fact we parked where shown in the guest book and on the last day he came down as we were packing the car to leave and verbally abused us, threatening to block the long, steep shared driveway so we couldn’t get out. The property managers expect the guests to pull the bins up a steep 200m long driveway (as the house is at the end) and put them out for bin collection as well as bring them back in. The bins were full from the previous tenant and so heavy we could hardly get them up the drive. We have enjoyed many Stayz properties, have a very high guest rating and never had to give a bad review but this place is the worst we have ever experienced. It’s a pity as the house is presentable if tired outside, the pool and view lovely.
