It's all about the view, the Lake & nature in this quiet & relaxing area.
Enjoy stunning sunrises, cooling afternoon breezes, walks along the Lakefront, fishing or a paddle, the kayaks are ready & waiting for you. Bring your boat or jet ski as there's room in the secure, fenced front yard for your trailer. Enjoy games on the waterfront reserve or sit on the balcony with a cuppa or glass of wine and do some people watching. Do a lot or do nothing but soak up the fresh air & serenity, it's up to you. All this within a short stroll of the local shops & the Bowling Club where you can go for drinks & a meal.
The nightly price is based on up to 7 guests. It is very important to select the correct number of guests as this will determine how many beds to have made up and towels required.
If you are contemplating a gathering/party, please read the following carefully:
Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested prior to your booking being accepted and if approved must be approved via email. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If more than 5 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.
There is a STRICT NO gathering/party or events policy. If you are unsure if your booking will fall into any of these categories please ask prior to us approving your booking. As a result of a minority of previous guests inability to adhere to House Rules we have been forced to take action in order to alleviate any future disputes. With regret we will now be activating the Security cameras on the driveway/path and front door. Breaches of house rules may result in additional charges and/or eviction.

As a couple we are both active and sporting people. We have always loved being in, near or around the water, be it ocean, lake or river. We have no children but adore spending time with our extended family & their children. Being busy professionals we value down time and this home offers us relaxation and quiet.
Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
My husband & I had been looking for a home by the water that we could potentially retire to, eventually. Far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Sydney but close enough to get back for our families if needed. It had to be North, the water is far too cold in the South! I stumbled across the suburb of Gwandalan in my travels while on the hunt for a property within the Central Coast. The opportunity arose to purchase this renovators delight, the classic early 60's pole home with potential, so I jumped at the chance. After a COVID interrupted full renovation the house is finally finished & is now available for others to also enjoy this wonderful location. Whether you want pounding ocean swims, clean Lake paddling & fishing or a bush walk it's all right here within a 10km radius. There are some great restaurants and friendly local clubs. The large shopping centre and Cinema at Lake Haven is a comfortable 20 minute drive. Gwandalan & Summerland Point have a great community with a caring community spirit. What more could you want?

The main reasons for buying in Gwandalan, and especially this house, was that view from the balcony of pristine Lake Macquarie. The elevated position provides a panorama that is hard to beat. However the most important reason is the best caring neighbours you could ask for!
