Excellent Location

We loved the location right on the beach. The apartment was well set up for those who like to cook meals while on vacation. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was large and provided great views. We would stay here again!

Overall the unit was in good condition but the shower curtain was moldy and needs to be cleaned or replaced. And one of the two beds was extremely uncomfortable to the point our back ached for 2 days.

We enjoyed our stay and the view was perfect. I do think the property needs some tlc and some maintenance. Shower head is gross and walls/ceiling were damaged. We found mold in the shower and shower curtains. We found it frustrating when trying to communicate with the property manager, that each time we were directed to a number to call instead.

This was our second time at the Regency Towers and we plan on many more. The unit we were in this time was nice but had carpet that either needed to be replaced with new carpet or preferably tiled. The bedding needs to be updated as well. That said I would still go back to the same unit as neither dampened the fantastic time our family had while there.

Reviewer Comments: Location a couple miles east of Spring Break activity hub was perfect for my wife, three young boys, and me; 5th floor provided an excellent 150-degree view of the Gulf, dolphins, etc. First impression of condo was smoky and slightly musty odor; balcony was huge (might estimate 200 sq ft), but it and windows were filthy; furnishings and decor were rather old, but tasteful. The layout was open; bathroom double-sink area was large and bright; toilet/shower area was cramped. We were surprised to not have kitchen or bath washcloths and only one roll of toilet paper for the week, but were pleased to find a boogie board and pool raft in the closet. Pool and surround were always clean; boardwalk over small dune was nice; really liked the hoses to spray off sand on way back! Overall: would go back and already recommended to friends.

Not renovated, old, rundown, unclean

This place IS NOT renovated. The paint on the ceiling is cracked throughout the condo. The appliances are old, look at the pictures. It still looks like that. The furnishings are over 30 years old, and were cheap when new. Look at which way the fridge opens. What you don’t see is the dented, scratched up, rusty side of the fridge. I don’t know if it’s rust spots or grunge on the ceilings and doors. It’s not even that the appliances were old and rusty, or that the dishes in the cabinet weren’t clean (the detergent holder in the dishwasher is missing it’s cap so the detergent sticks to the bottom of the dishwasher), or the stained, probably unclean bedding. The management company dropped the ball. We asked if we could have a later check-out time, they said “no”, which is fine, but when my husband opened our door 10 minutes before checkout to take our luggage down, there was the housekeeper to make sure we left by 9. We decided to extend our trip by a few days but went somewhere else with different management. I'm so turned off by this condo that I wouldn’t want to stay in that complex again or rent through Southern.

Check in process is easy. Communication is great from booking to check out. This condo is located towards the quieter end of the beach and is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beach. Overall Great Stay

Overall, our stay was great and the space looked exactly like the photos—clean, comfortable, and just as advertised. The only drawback was the kitchen, which was quite bare. We expected a few basic essentials like salt, pepper, and cooking spray, but ended up having to purchase everything ourselves.It wasn’t a major issue since we only cooked a few meals, but if you're planning to cook regularly or for a larger group, be prepared to bring or buy basic pantry items and some cleaning supplies. Still, it was a lovely stay and perfect for a low-key getaway.

Beach Vacation

My family had a wonderful time on this beach vacation! The location was fantastic. Just a short walk out the door right to the pier and on the beach in minutes. The view from the balcony made spending time outside so relaxing. We even saw some dolphins. The pool was very nice and clean. It was the perfect size for our family of three.
