Location was perfect! Other than the roach of some sort crawling on the wall of the kitchen!!

Great location! The roach crawling on the wall of the kitchen I'm assuming was from the fact the other units were being sprayed for bugs, at least that's what I am thinking!??

Affordable and comfortable....

We have stayed at different condos and homes when we go to Miramar, I can honestly say this was a nice and comfortable place to stay with my family of 4. The whirlpool tub was lovely. The other guests in the complex were friendly and enjoyable. The distance to the beach is literally right across the street. Overall no bad complaints

Emerald Waters #307

We have stayed at multiple Emerald Waters units over the past 10 years. Unit #307 was by far the worst. It's like they haven't changed anything in 10 years. Could use new carpet, furniture, appliances and paint. So my wife and another couple stayed here for the long 4th of July weekend. The #1 complaint was the beds. They had an extended frame around the mattress. So all of us constantly got our shins bruised up since the frame practically took up the whole room. Needless to say, we will never stay in #307 again!

The Property (pool, parking lot, elevator) was pretty clean-short walk from the beach BUT we were not given the beach gate access code so we had to ask a very nice family staying at Emerald waters what the code was in order to use the private entrance to beach or we would've had to walk/drive down to the public beach entrance. The condo smelled like cigarette smoke and had very dirty carpets-the sheets on the beds were clean but the beds were VERY uncomfortable. The bathrooms were out of date and appeared moldy but The kitchen appliance worked as well as washer and dryer (bring your own detergents and soaps) they are not provided.

Great place to stay

Hesitant to stay here after reading several reviews, but glad that we did. Condo was exactly as shown in pics. Decor dated, but overall well kept. Property was extremely clean and management company was great. Would stay here again.

The spacious rooms with full kitchen and 2 full bath. 2 min walk from the beach. The instructions were good and clear. The only problems we encountered were that the room were not ready at checkin time and the fire alarm battery was low and started chirping in the middle of the night.

Wonderful

Seamless check-in! Just enter code into door key pad. Great location! Right across the street from beach access gate AND an Alvin’s Island location. Property was clean and washer/dryer IN unit! Beds could’ve been softer but maybe just personal preference. Overall, this place felt like home while we were on holiday! We would stay here again and again! Thank you!!

Rental property was filthy dirty.

We've vacationed in this area for 8 years. Our first stay in a condo rented through Southern Vacation Rentals. The condo was filthy dirty (carpet, drapes, baseboards, walls). Although we love the location, we would not recommend this rental property and will not be renting from Southern Vacation Rentals again in the future.

Great Location

While the property was a bit outdated, it was the perfect size for our 4 person trip. The beds were a great size and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious and overall very clean. Check-in couldn’t have been easier. We loved the location of this property, and will definitely consider renting here again.

won't stay here again

Disappointed with this unit. The furniture is outdated and the sofa was uncomfortable. The carpet was dirty and worn with obvious stains. We would not choose this unit again.

The property upon arrival was nicely manicured. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Needs a lot of updating

The property looked well maintained from the pictures. However when we entered the unit, we were very disappointed. The unit is outdated, the carpet was sticky, and the bed frames were shin-busters! The restrooms had ripped shower curtains and the lights were very dim. We didn’t spend as much time as we wanted to spend in the unit because we weren’t really comfortable there. Other family members rented a floor below us for a cheaper price and the unit was very clean and up to date. The location was good (beach is across the street) but be aware: pop up tents are NOT allowed on the beach where we were assigned. There are stairs so if you if have a wagon, be prepared to carry your stuff down and back up. Overall, we weren’t impressed and will not be renting here again.

Great location, furniture a little outdated
