Blue Marlin Bungalow is the perfect choice for those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay on the Gulf Side of Florida in Bradenton. With its relaxing decor, comfortable amenities, and convenient location, it provides a wonderful home away from home.
The property is located at the end of a quiet street in a court and backs onto 2 salt water canals. Dock up to the dock with your own boat or come by car. Blue Marlin Bungalow is located on a salt water canal off the Manatee River and you can motor your own boat in 20 minutes to enjoy the Intercostal or fishing out in the Gulf of Mexico or right off the dock! This fully furnished home offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for your stay. With three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, it provides ample space for your family, 3 couples or just a quiet space for snowbirds.

Located in Bradenton, this bungalow offers convenient access to the area’s attractions. You can explore the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island, visit the vibrant Bradenton downtown area with its shops and restaurants, or take a short drive Sarasota, north to St Pete’s, or Tampa. Disney is a 2 hour drive. More Sunshine and Beaches a short drive south for many unforgettable beaches to explore.

There are security cameras outside the property on each corner of the house that view each entrance into the property, front door, side door, garage door, pool door, driveway, back of garage , boat dock x 2 viewing our boat. Garage is off limits and a camera is inside. Cameras are not located indoors or in the lanai/pool area.

Wonderful stay

Blue Marlin Bungalow exceeded our expectations, the home was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our two week stay. Our host was very responsive with any questions we had, always a quick response. Check in was super easy, I would definitely recommend this property!

Blue Marlin a good catch in Bradenton

Our stay began with a warm welcome. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The host, Darla, was communicative and responsive to our requests. Could not have been better.

Be Aware

This is a beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. We stayed there with two other couples, all of us in our 70’s. There are security cameras, which is expected. However, be prepared to feel like you’re being constantly watched and monitored by the owner!

Hello Diane. We glad you enjoyed your stay. As disclosed we have cameras facing doorways access to our home. They are all disclosed. We have cameras pointed at our boat. As you can imagine it is valuable to us or if it should have some sort of mishap on the lift. No cameras are in the lanai area and the last camera is in our garage. The garage is clearly stated as personal space of ours and that camera went off when the garage was accessed. The door was left open accidentally by the handy person. I asked you to lock it and you did which was great. The only cameras we may check if triggered are the garage or dock. We saw on the boat came our furniture from the lanai was on the dock and as you can imagine with stormy weather if they were to remain there they would be swimming with the fishies. If we had wanted furniture on the dock we would install some bolted down furniture there. We only asked if you could move them back into the protected area when you left the property. Hope you had a nice visit with your friends. You are welcome back anytime. Also thanks for noticing the pool was low and filling it up. We appreciate all the care you took of our home.

A Sweet Find

Can't say enough good about Blue Marlin Bungalow. Had great quality both indoors(kitchen, beds, baths, living spaces exquisite) and with the pool and dock (we did a bit of fishing off it for catfish and palmetto snappers plus got a bonus sea trout. Nothing but top score on Darla's responsiveness for minor questions. The pool with its efficient cover heats in a couple of hours from 78 to 88 for any cool days. Patio setup is awesome for relaxing. Grill is high quality. The location is on a wonderful quiet street/beautiful neighborhood. Struggling to find something to criticize. Love the closeness to Holmes Beach and to nice restaurants on the Manatee River -- Riverhouse Waterfront, Mattison's Riverwalk and Pier 22. Overall a perfect place to stay and explore the beaches up and down Florida's Gulf Coast from Fort De Soto, down to Long Boat Key, Siesta Key and Boca Grande.

Welcome, Every Family has a story and this is ours. Built in 2000 for David & Jean as their snow bird retirement retreat. Sadly Jean only got a few winters to enjoy and passed away unexpectedly in 2001. David & Shirley enjoyed the winter home for many years. The pandemic the house was rented out to a fabulous long term tenant and now she has moved to her forever home. Neil & Darla, Sheri & Larry hope to enjoy the home more in the coming years and are going to rent it out on a short term basis going forward. We love to share our Florida home so others can have a comfortable place to enjoy The Salt, Sun & Sea.
