It was a very nice house. We used the hot tube, the fire pit and the game room. we grilled steaks. It was a short drive to the Ark. We would recommend this house to anyone. We were very pleased with everything it offered.

Great property! Perfect for a reunion of friends. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing, the game room was a great touch, and there’s cows in the back that are so cute to watch! The only hiccup we noticed was that there seemed to be a lack of toilet paper and we ended up having to go out and buy more. Still 5 stars and would like to revisit the property again in the future!

Our stay was awesome!

It was greatly located for our choice of attractions to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. It was very well kept and a feel of being on the farm but, in a subdivision.

Great spot to stay

We stayed here with our family of 8. The kitchen was well stocked for the simple meals we made. It was a perfect spot for our “home base” when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. A relaxing soak in the hot tub was a great way to end our day.

From the owner: “I’m sorry to hear the game room heater was not sufficient. It is stated in the description that the game room is not temperature-controlled. Although with two heaters, we simply cannot guarantee the weather/temperature during January in KY. We did not receive any call or text; perhaps we could have made your stay more comfortable with added heaters. Please understand that the outdoor game room is an enclosed exterior building, adjacent to the fire pit and hot tub. The intent is for our guests to warm up and enjoy this entire area in all seasons.”

Perfect Location

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely home. It was very convenient to travel to both the Creation Museum and the Ark Adventure! The home was just as pictured. It was decorated for fall and the space is great for a larger group! We loved the hot tub, too!

Ark Trip

This location was perfect for the Creation Museum & Ark Encounter. We all had plenty of privacy to rest & get ready & the hot tub was a huge hit after walking around all day. We took a day to get in a distillery tour & check out the Reds baseball museum. All under 30 minute drive. The home was beautiful & the area was quiet. Highly recommend for anyone headed to the Ark!

Youth Group Trip

I brought my high school church youth group down to visit the Creation Museum and The Ark. Our VRBO was perfect! It was located half way betwéen the two and was so spacious for us. The kids enjoyed the yard and the yard games provided. The bedrooms were perfect, many beds and bathrooms. It was also nice to be able to share meals in the quaint dining room. And then enjoy the evening in the hot tub. I would highly recommend this cozy, clean, and cute house!

Relaxing retreat & fun for the whole family! We felt so blessed from the moment we walked in. Having scripture in frames hanging on every wall was such a beautiful reminder of the Lord! And all 7 kids had the BEST time in the game room & running through the yard playing ball! Our family & our friend’s family had the absolute best time in this beautiful, clean, well kept home. We were so impressed with how clean the home was and well laid out it was. We are so excited to return to this beautiful home in a few years when the kids are older to re-visit the Ark & Creation Museum so thankful we found this home! My only regret is not capturing any photos of our time here. I guess we were too busy having fun!

Nice but too loud

The property is beautiful but our family was not able to get adequate rest here. We chose this home thinking it was more in the country, allowing privacy - but the road is so close to the house and there were loud vehicles going by all throughout the night, waking us and the children up. We left a day early because of this.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-Most guests have not expressed concerns about noise, but we understand your experience was different.-While we can't control the occasional loud vehicles on the nearby road, we have placed a fan in the home for ambient noise and will add two more fans in the bedrooms to help mask any disturbances.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Family vacation 2024

We had no communication with property manager as it was not necessary. House looked updated and clean in pictures but in person there was a difference. We had a small black bug problem in main bathroom and house had an odd smell to it. Location was perfect for our activities probably would not recommend it to others
