Accommodating up to 10 guests, this spacious property has room for all your friends and family to relax and be entertained in style. Ponderosa Homestead is located just a short drive from the Hunter Expressway and is only a few minutes to The Vintage Golf Course, the township of Branxton and Huntlee featuring a Coles, Tavern, and speciality shops to stock up on provisions for your stay. With top restaurants, vineyards, cellar doors and concert venues located within a short drive of the property makes Ponderosa Homestead the perfect accommodation location for your next stay in Wine Country.
 
Ponderosa Homestead features five large bedrooms, two bathrooms both with bathtubs for indulgent relaxation and a further 2 en-suites, multiple living/dining areas, one of which includes a nine-foot pool table, perfect for friendly competitions and fun evenings. Enjoy a modern and well-appointed kitchen to create memorable meals and enjoy the gourmet produce you collect on your food and wine trails. 
 
Step outside to find a generous covered BBQ dining area. Enjoy meals and games, complete with darts board, while overlooking pool terrace and bushland beyond.
 
The massive, sparkling in-ground pool is so inviting and the perfect spot to linger and relax on a hot summer days. Beyond the pool, you'll discover a purpose built wooden seated fire pit area next to the dam, perfect for cosy winter evenings while star gazing with a glass of fine Hunter wine. The entire property is kept comfortable all year round with reverse cycle air conditioning and there’s a laundry with washer and dryer when needed.
  
Ponderosa is the perfect property to use as your base to explore the Hunter Valley. Enjoy dining at renowned Hunter Valley restaurants close by, such as Amanda's on the Edge, Esca at Bimbadgen, Jimmy Jones, Muse and Kawal. Discover award-winning cellar doors within a 10-minute drive, including Lucy’s Run, Blueberry Hill, Degen Wines, Hart & Hunter, Calais Estate and many more. Please note, Ponderosa Homestead has exterior security cameras to monitor the exterior of the home only for the protection of the property.  Security cameras are commonplace at many of our rural properties. Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms & Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

TARIFF 
Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 8 guests $1002 per night  (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 8 guests $752 per night  (Mon-Thu)
Additional adults $95 per person per night
Additional children 2-13 years $64 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge. 

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $1000 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

LONGER STAYS
Please contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over.

NOTES 
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.

Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
