Just spent 31 days at Marks apartment and we had a lovely time.The place was clean,comfortable and well equipped, which suited us as we ate in most of the time.We particularly liked walking out to the morning sun on the patio.The sun loungers were a plus as not all the apartments at Praia Village have them.Communication with Mark was very good.The location was excellent.Definitely one we will consider for the future.

Excellent all round.

Fantastic experience and trip. Since we booked the trip Mark has been very hospitable and answered any questions we had a timely manner. We’ve stayed previously within the complex but our first visit to this apartment and we’ll definitely be back. Big spacious rooms and you’re able to walk right into the well groomed gardens and into the pool from the rear patio door. Very clean overall and with a well stocked kitchen. We loved the walk into the Marina a couple of times a day and we also hired a car, but it’s not really necessary at this apartment. Obrigado Mark.

Fantastic Apartment at Praia Village, Vilamoura.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this apartment. It has everything you need for a great holiday. 10 seconds and you are in the pool....we enjoyed several meals on the patio....10 minute walk to the Marina. We shall recommend this apartment and will definitely return. Thanks to Mark the owner who kept us informed on the booking etc, recommend the organised taxi pickup from and to the airport and thanks to Karen who was waiting at the door with the keys!!! All very efficient - Thank You.

November 2008

We visited Apartment J for our anniversary in November. The apartment was very clean, tidy and well set out. We had ordered the welcome pack and were surprised at how much was in it! We were only there for a weekend and so did not cook, but ate at some lovely restaurants in the area. We visited the marina, but unfortunately did not get time to go to the beach. We had taken my sister and her husband with us and we all had a fantastic night in Parkys bar, which was 5 mins away from the apartment, singing karaoke. All in all we had a fantastic time and hope to visit again soon.

Great holiday (again!)

This is the second time we have used this apartment and again we had a great holiday. The location, within walking distance of the beach (clean, good facilities, great sand and sea) and the marina (plenty of bars, restaraunts of every description), has proved ideal for us both times. First time we went our daughter was 18 months and this time she was 3. The ground floor location was perfect meaning we could just walk straight out into the pool area. The apartment was clean, tidy and well presented. It looked no older than last time we stayed 18 months ago and so is obviously maintained to a high standard. The whole process of booking, arriving, departing was simplicity itself and even though we chnaged and extended our booking (twice!) this was all facilitated with ease. Great holiday, great location, great apartrment, nothing else to say!

A wonderful second stay at Apt.J

Our family of 3 returned to Apt.J again this year as we enjoyed it so much last year. Mark arranged our private transfer from the airport which made it hassle free (especially with a toddler). We were able to get in to the apartment early as no one had been staying the day before. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds and travel cot were all made up ready. Our little one absolutely loved the pool area and being on the ground floor it was such easy access. We love that the complex never feels too crowded and is in a quiet area of vilamoura. Mark was very helpful with queries we had during our stay and I couldn’t fault his communication with us prior to the holiday either. A stress free and very relaxing holiday! Just what we needed. We will most definitely be back to stay. Thankyou so much to Mark and his wife for allowing us to stay in their apartment for a second time. Charlie, Carl and Freddie

Lovely holiday in Vilamora!

We stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in August 2011 and the standard of accomodation was very high. The apartment is very well equipped, very comfortable and easy to live in. The location is on the ground floor and very close to the pool so you can literally step out of bed and into the water! The apartment complex is well laid out, well maintained. The pool is size is big enough and deep enough for users of all ages. Proximity to Vilamora was great, a 10 minute walk to the Marina and to loads of lovely restaurants. The Marina is more expensive, but go a few streets back and you can find restaurants of top quality and a more reasonable price. I definitely recommend A'Broa (for Paella and steak) and the Thai is awesome - very hot and flavoursome! It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach but it's a busy road so be careful, there are not really any pavements and at night no street lighting. The beaches are wonderful - Falesia (closest) and Vilamora. Beaches are clean, sea is clear and there's lots of space for everyone! Avoid Quarteria, too crowded, dirty beaches and more downmarket than Vilamora. We recommend the waterparks (Aqualand and Aquashow - pricey but great fun for the day) and visit the market in Loule. There are fantastic portuguese restaurants in Loule if you want to eat like a local! I recommend this to families of 3/4. And would suggest you need a car if you want to travel further afield.

Best time ever

The apartment is exactly as described. It's a very conservative condo, very quiet and comfortable. It's very well equipped. The only thing missing is a coffee machine. The perfect place to take a true rest in the middle of Vilamoura. The owner is very present and trust worthy. After COVID lockdown, this was the perfect place to keep safe. We'll be back, for sure.

Outstanding !

This apartment is excellent. It is modern, spacious, well furnished and with excellent appliances so is ideal for self caterers. It is in a great spot within the complex, on the ground floor and close to the pool area which whilst I was staying was very quiet. The whole area is quiet. Location is good, quite a short walk to the Marina and the centre of Vilamoura for shops and restaurants. It is also close to the golf courses and would make an ideal place to stay for a golfing holiday. The owner was very helpful before and during my stay and answered a couple of queries I had very quickly, and also allowed me to check in early and check out late which helped me a lot.

Great Apartment

Spent two weeks in October at this apartment on the ground floor. Very clean and spacious and of high standard within a small complex . Pool was great, a few footsteps away from apartment. Easy walking distance to the Marina where you will find lots of restaurants to choose from, family golf also nearby which is worth a visit. Taxis cost between 4 and 7 Euros depending on the time of day / night you use them. Would return to this apartment again. Communication with Mark the owner was great. Has no one was in the apartment prior to our arrival we were able to enter the apartment a lot earlier than 14:00hrs which was a bonus has we had an early morning flight. Thank you so much Mark for this.

Fantastic apartment

We’ve stayed at Praia Village on 2 previous occasions, but having this ground floor apartment made our holiday even more enjoyable. The apartment was very clean and spacious and had everything you could need . The owner was always prompt in communicating and kindly accommodated our early check in. A fantastic apartment in very well maintained grounds with a great swimming pool. We’ll definitely be back.

Great apartment and great stay

Just had an 8 day stay here, which was great. Communication with the owner prior to the holiday was second to none and even had to contact him during the stay, which had a swift response. The apartment was on the ground level, meaning you can come and go as you wish, rather than cart all your stuff down to the pool each day. The apartment gets the sun until around 5.30pm - good for sun lovers. There is shade around the pool area if you need it and the patio area gets the shade from about 12ish. The apartment itself was spacious and clean and exactly as the photos show. The place is very quiet. We went 1 week prior to the schools breaking up (which was very quiet). The second part of the week got busier but there were always beds around the pool available at all times of day and rarely was the pool full. Villamoura itself was a good 20 mins walk each evening which we didn't mind - where most of the restaurants are.

parents have been to this property a few tumes and recommended it to myself. I can honestly say the appartment was brilliant.everything you need for self catering, a nice 10min walk to the marina and to the beech. Will defiantly be bk

An amazing week in a fantastic apartment

A wonderful stay. Before we arrived Mark made sure we had all the information we needed and once we were there we felt at home straight away. The apartment is amazing and the complex very clean and welcoming. We had an awesome week and will definitely be returning.

Another great holiday

Just returned from 3 lovely weeks in this apartment. We’ve been to Apartment J many times and find it perfect for us. Very homely, spotless in regards to cleanliness and in a great location, the complex is very quiet and private, so peaceful during the day, the swimming pool and gardens are beautifully maintained. Vilamoura is an amazing town to visit and the marina is exceptional. Thanks Mark for another great holiday.

Excellent apartment beautifully laid out.

Fantastic customer service from Mark the owner who communicated throughout the booking process. We found the apartment spotless clean it ticked all the boxes for a relaxing peaceful holiday with a accurate description of layout and facilities. I would most certainly return to this apartment in the future and have already recommended it to friends and relatives.
