Casa La Cape is a newly renovated 2 Bed/2 Bath cottage located a few blocks off the Delaware Bay renowned for its stunning sunsets! Centrally located, a short drive will put you on the beaches of Historic Cape May, Stone Harbor or walking down the Boardwalk in the Wildwoods.
We are pet-friendly and offer both a spacious and private fenced in backyard. Lush gardens surround the patio making it the perfect spot to unwind with your own private hot tub, outdoor dining table with glass fire pit and lounge chairs. Sit back, relax and enjoy that glass of wine at our villa-inspired cottage by the bay!

Our open concept accommodates 4 to 6 guests comfortably with a queen pull out sofa in the living room and twin pull out in the front computer room. Designer decorated with gourmet kitchen, this vacation oasis is a delight to the senses and is complete with a seemingly endless list of amenities. Fully air conditioned, high-speed internet, smart TV’s, board games to enjoy with the family are just a sampling of the “creature comforts” included with your stay.

The master bedroom offers a queen bed and is located off the main room with ample closet space, two end tables, a high chest of drawers and leads directly to the private master bath. Inspired by one of Cape May’s historic hotels, the master bath is complete with a custom tiled walk-in rain shower!
Our second bedroom has twin beds and is located off the main room as well. The closet is spacious and stocked with games for the whole family.

The second bath is located just through the laundry room and was likewise, designed with a spacious walk-in custom tiled rain shower and bench.

You will have access to all the amenities we have to offer!

1. CANCELLATION POLICY. The time factor is critical in vacation rentals, and your reservation will hold this rental off the market for a period of time. If you cancel for any reason after we have mailed your confirmation, your rent cannot be refunded unless the vacation rental is re-rented (and then less a 10% Fee). The earlier you notify us that you may need to cancel, the better the chances of re-renting.
2. PROPERTY CONDITION / SECURITY DEPOSITS. When you arrive, please check the vacation rental for cleanliness and damage. Notify us promptly of any problems or damage. You agree to leave the vacation rental in arrival condition. No physical damage, vacation rental and yard neat and tidy, dishes washed and put away, spills wiped up, trash removed, etc. Late check-out, trash left, or vacation rental or grounds needing more-than-reasonable cleaning are grounds for security deposit claims. If there are no problems, deposits will be returned by mail 30 days after the date of departure. If we are going to make a claim on your security deposit, we will e-mail you describing the details within 30 days.
3. OWNERS SET SPECIFIC RULES. regarding the maximum number of occupants, pets, smoking, etc. As the property owner, we enforce these rules, and may evict renters or their guests when they are exceeded. If pets are not allowed at the vacation rental, that includes pets belonging to your guests. Large gatherings, house parties, etc., are absolutely not allowed unless approved when your booking is made in writing. Sub-letting is not permitted. Any disturbance resulting in neighborhood complaints or police action, other illegal activities, damage to the vacation rental, or violation of this agreement or of rules and regulations governing the vacation rental, will be considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of your stay, and all monies paid will be forfeited. This agreement does not create a tenancy for the vacation rental; you can be removed from the vacation rental without process of law if you do not depart at the appropriate time.
4. OCCUPANCY. In no event shall the Rental Property be occupied by more persons than the capacity of subject property which is ?. Guests must be at least 25 years old and only family groups are to occupy the Rental Property as required by Owner. All guests age 2 and over are counted as guests. Any reservation made under false pretenses and/or any party falsely representing the number people in the home is subject to immediate eviction without refund. Over occupancy is considered a serious violation of this rental agreement. No fraternities, school, civic or other non-family groups are allowed unless Owner grants prior approval. In no event shall guest assign or sublet the Rental Property in whole or in part. Violations of these rules are grounds for expedited eviction with no refund of any kind. Guest hereby acknowledges and grants specific permission to property owner to enter premises at any time for inspection purposes should we reasonably believe that Guest is causing or has caused any damage to the Rental Property. Guest further agrees to grant property owner access to Rental Property for purposes of maintenance and repair.
5. THE OWNERS AND ASSOCIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for loss, theft or damage to your belongings while at the rented vacation rental. The property owners will be held harmless of any injury while staying at the property. The use of the pool is at your own risk. Owners are not responsible for injury while using the pool. There is no lifeguard.
6. YOU AGREE TO NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY if a maintenance problem develops at your vacation rental so we can have it remedied as quickly as possible. Owners reserve the right to make repairs as necessary, and to enter the
vacation rental with reasonable notice, or without notice if you cannot be reached. No refunds will be provided due to
inoperable appliances, etc. in Rental Property although property owner will make every reasonable effort to assure that such appliances will be and remain in good working order. Also, no refunds will be given due to power blackouts, water shortage, flooding, construction at adjacent properties, or mandatory evacuation of the area due to hurricanes or other potentially dangerous situations.
7. KEY Procedures: Keys to the property will be at the property in a lock box. Renter will be given the code on or about 2 days before arrival either text or email with directions to the property. The day of check-out, please place the keys backin the lock box.
8. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHOICE. This vacation rental is individually owned and managed. We have described our vacation rental in detail to the best of our ability, but we cannot make the decision for you and will not be responsible if you are not happy with your choice on arrival. The rent will not be refunded and cannot be transferred to another location.
9. LEGAL DISPUTE. In the event it is necessary to resolve any legal disputes between the parties under this rental
agreement, the tenant agrees to reimburse landlord all landlord's costs of litigation and costs of collection, including, but not limited to, landlord's attorneys fees and court costs."
10. PAYMENT. As of the time of booking, the following charges are in effect. These charges may change over time as Renter requests other services.

Wonderful house!
This house has everything! We stayed with our small dog in winter, and weather didn’t always cooperate, but we cannot complain about anything in this cute little house!! It is laid out perfectly and comes stocked with every possible kitchen gadget and utensil!! We worked here, WiFi and desk great! The walk to the beach is a little long but it’s safe and lovely. Birds everywhere, few cars. The yard is large and so well equipped! Really nice place.

The house was truly cozy and charming! The decorations, kitchenware, bedding etc were beautiful and ocean themed. The kitchen was extremely well supplied with every convenience imaginable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fenced in yard for our dog and the local beach was beautiful and quiet. The house was a short drive to Cape May wildlife preserves/bird watching and other attractions. We would definitely stay again!

My new happy place has it all
Normally in a vacay rental search, one has to sacrifice some factor, whether location or hot tub or what have you. Not so here! I have never had a better rental experience than this one, and I have had many. The property is absolutely stunning. Clean and considerate in every possible way. Natural light. Fenced in yard with maximum privacy. Smart layout of rooms. Plenty of space. Every imaginable comfort, from fireplace to coffee. So many thoughtful details, from the separate hot tub towels to the strategically placed ring dish. A touch-button fireplace, instant satisfaction. Every single thing worked and was easy to figure out. We loved it here and marveled at how nice our home away from home was the whole time. It was a rainy winter-y cloudy weekend while we stayed, but you did not find us complaining. We were happy in the hot tub, warming ourselves near the propane flames, which are cleverly set to (adjustable) hour-long safety timers. The distance to the beach is not long, and the beach itself is great for a moment of reflection and quite possibly solitude, as it was not crowded in the least. Many times I have vowed to return to properties that I enjoyed. But this one is "the one" and we will definitely try to get back there during the actual on-season time. I truly look forward to it.
