Sehr gute Lage

Wer im Urlaub auf Party aus ist, der ist hier an der perfekter Stelle. Wir haben dort ca. 2 Wochen unseren Urlaub verbracht und würden das Appartement jederzeit wieder mieten. Geniale Aussicht auf den Ocean Drive und den Atlantik. Wir kommen wieder.

Hotspotlage am Ocean Drive mit einigen Schwächen

1. Mehr Ocean Drive geht nicht- sehen und gesehen werden mit allem ,was dazu gehört- sprich nächtliche Druck- Beschallung aus der Bar incl. Drag Queen Show drunter und Rooftop Bar drüber. War ein tolles Erlebnis- aber eher nichts für empfindliche Gemüter oder Erholungssuchende. 2. Leider recht dreckig: Schmiere am Kühlschrank,Teppichböden arg fleckig,klebrige Fliesen....bei Monierung wurde gesagt,dass die Putzkolonne halt nicht täglich komme.......Nach Hinweis auf die Mindesthygiene bei Mieterwechsel kam dann jemand und brachte auch die fehlenden Handtücher. 3. Bad und ( viel schlimmer) Balkontüre nicht abschließbar.Theoretisch könnte jeder Gast tags wie nachts problemlos über die Balkone ( die alle miteinander verbunden sind ) hinein kommen.Kein so tolles Gefühl! Safe funktionierte nicht,leider etwas abgewohnt und nicht so hip wie auf den Photos. 4. Toller Rooftop mit Bar und Liegen und........extrem dreckigem Pool! Sah aus wie Erbrochenes .....Im Übrigen ist die Bar nachts zeitweise auch für externes Publikum geöffnet,welches dann über das Treppenhaus auch Zugang zu allen Wohnungsfluren hat.

The hall ways smelled like fish the whole time we stayed they were dirty. Elevator had a mind of its own and you push one floor number and then go to a different one.

The best location in South Beach!

If you want to feel the real Miami vibe, this is your place! But if you're looking for a quiet, low-key vacation, this might not be the right fit. It’s not fair to leave a bad review just because you didn’t understand what this place is all about.Let’s start with the room: we stayed in unit C401, which has a living room and a bedroom. Everything was spotless, and we never had any safety concerns. The views from both balconies were stunning, and the rooftop pool on the sixth floor was a great spot to relax—never too crowded. You get exactly what’s shown in the listing.And then there’s the Palace! Yes, the unit is above the Palace Bar, but that’s part of the charm if you’re here to soak in the Miami energy. The music stops at midnight, so you’ll still get a good night’s sleep. The shows are amazing, and the overall atmosphere on Ocean Drive is vibrant and full of life—just what we wanted.If that’s the kind of experience you're after, you won’t find a better place than this.

Birthday trip

The building is dated, but it is an ideal location if you want to be up close and center to all of the action. We could see the beach from our rooms, walk to the beach, and stroll down Ocean Drive for entertainment, food and shopping. The Area is loud, but festive!I enjoyed the stay.

Weekend in south beach

Being above The Palace is the best thing about this place, unless you don't like noise, then this place is not for you. The place in general is nice but needs wither a coffee table or side table out in the living area, there's nowhere to put your drinks. It's prime location in south beach you could uber from the airport or park a rental down on collins/13th street, super easy walk to the place. They might need to think about new cleaners, the dust is crazy high on things like the tv, boogers on the wall in the bathroom, dishes in the dishwasher with an old cleaning pack that fell out when we opened the door to see where the rest on the silverware and plates/bowls were, floors were sticky and had dirt when walking around barefoot first night. The wifi did not work the entire 2.5 days we were there, reached out to the owner and they were very responsive but unfortunately efforts did not make wifi available which sucks, cause I ran out of data. The tv's need serious updating so that you could watch any app you wanted while there, but they do have direct tv and hbo/max also so that's nice. I could go on about other issues but honestly the place is in a perfect spot for the beach, access to restaurants walking distance and bars/clubs in South Beach which is what I was looking for, it just needs a bit of help as it's not been taken care of well in the owners absence unfortunately.

South Beach Ocean Drive Strip

This property had everything we wanted, except it is directly above The Palace drag show club and restaurant and the roof top pool is accessible to anyone(not just Strand guests) Warning: this is.party central, drag shows day and night (2-3am during festivals such as Pride week), pool parties every afternoon as of 3pm. The level of noise is extra high, derious base coming from below. We bought ears plugs at Walgreens to help us sleep. The location is central, the balconies are great, we had our meals out there every day. Faces sunrise, boardwalk, beach view, all the action of ocean drive, great during the day. But again, do not underestimate, as we did, the noise level at the front of the property, it's insane. We'll not be staying there again

Perfect!

Me and my girlfriend (22 and 20) spent a few nights here during the first week of March and had an amazing time. Close to everything and a great view of the ocean as well as lummus park. We were aware of the noise from the bar below but brought a white noise machine and it drowned out everything. Highly recommend one if you plan on going to bed early like us but the music stopped fairly early. Valet was difficult to work with but they got us in and out eventually. Overall a great stay.

Not worth it

When we booked this place we knew it would be loud and we were fine with that. However, we were not aware that our condo was directly above a place called The Palace. This was a Drag Queen show. Whatever.. to each their own. My complaint is that I wasn’t aware that is was sooo Loud till like 1-2:30 am. The loudest place on the strip. The hand held sprayer was broke, the toilet paper was Scott one ply, we found beer bottle caps still there from previous customers.

Party Central and a Great Time!!

We knew it would be loud and noisy from the start, which is why we picked this location. The rooms were excellent with nice conveniences. We loved the two balconies and were able to watch the sunrise over the ocean from them. It was fun watching the thousands of people driving and walking by the front of the hotel. The daily shows were amazing and drew the biggest crowds on Ocean Drive every day and every time! We heard some great music well into the late night. The beach chairs and umbrella were great and we used them out on the beach! The location was well situated, as we could go up or down Ocean Drive with lots of options to choose from. Everything we needed was in very close walking distance. Us the nearby parking garage on 13th street, you won't be disappointed. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The curtains did a great job is blocking out the sunlight and the heat. The roof top pool and bar were very nice with a great view. We made some new friends and took a lot of pictures there! If you want to be in the middle of the action, this is the place for you. If you want a nice quiet place to get away, try somewhere else. I know I will return to this place!!

Séjour à Miami Beach

Bathroom safety

The shower/tub had very high sides and was slippery on the floor of the tub. It was difficult to get in and out. This is an accident risk. This should be mentioned in the description of the property. Minor maintenance issue: The trash can in kitchen area had dead batteries so you had to manually take the lid off. We had to request paper towels, there were zero on arrival. Otherwise it was comfortable and very convenient location.

Great stay

Excellent location with Ocean view. Lots of restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. Sofa bed was to hard for my liking. Palace nightclub was loud but dudnt bother us. Would definitely recommend this property.

My friends & I stayed on South Beach for the fun vibes & half marathon. Definitely a loud place, but able to put ear buds in to get sleep @ night. We stayed off strip for dining & found fine dining in other areas of Miami Beach.

Best vacation ever!

This condo is right in the middle of all the vibrant life on South Beach, which is exact what we wanted. The roof top pool is amazing with spectacular views. I would not recommend children stay here but adults looking to have the true South Beach experience, this is the place for you!!

Fun Times at South Beach on Ocean

We had a great time at this property. Yes, it is noisy at night, but since we knew that before hand, it was not a surprise. The condo is roomy, but sparsely equipped and furnished. It was fun to have the outdoor space of the two decks. Bed was comfy. Lighting was not great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this unit.
