Cherry Blossom Charm

Summary:
Gorgeous row home on one of Capitol Hill's most charming, tree-lined blocks! This home features beautiful hardwood floors, exposed brick, granite countertops, plantation shutters, a marble-lined bathroom, and two fireplaces. The kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, and leads you into the open concept living room with a SmartTV, cozy breakfast nook, pull out couch, and plenty of seating for everyone. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed and an oversized couch for lounging. The secondary bedroom has a day bed that turns into a queen size bed. Union Station, Eastern Market, and H Street have grocery stores, bars, restaurants and more and these are all just a quick walk away! Fun fact about this home, it has a large cherry blossom in the front yard, and it is one of the first to bloom during the season.

The Space:
Step out the door and glance along the tree lined street at the US Capitol building right in front of you, only 20 minutes on foot.

We can comfortably sleep 6 guests in the following bedroom layout;

~ Queen sized pullout daybed in the secondary bedroom
~ Queen sized pullout couch in living area
 
Guests are greeted by an open concept living room with exposed brick, and a beautiful fireplace. Equipped with a large smart TV (stream and enjoy your personal Netflix / Hulu / Amazon accounts), perfect for a cozy evening in. Enjoy your
meals in the charming eating nook while still being included in conversations being had in the living room and kitchen. Kitchen is equipped with full size appliances and has everything you could need. There is a washer and dryer ont he first level as well you are free to use.

Walk to the back yard to sip your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the backyard! There is also a bicycle in the back yard you are free to use to explore the neighborhood.

Choose from TWO charming bedrooms on the upper level; the front primary bedroom with a queen size bed, oversized accent chair and fire place, or choose the secondary bedroom with a pullout queen daybed. Both are great options.

The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is one of the city’s most popular areas, with historical rowhouses and markets plus a vibrant nightlife and dining scene. Head to this neighborhood for both its government buildings like the U.S. Capitol and the Supreme Court, easy access to the National Monuments, and the surrounding historic, walkable, restaurant-filled blocks.

Getting Around:
We are located just 0.1 miles from the brand new DC Streetcar (currently operating free of charge) that runs down H all the way to Union Station - the epicenter of DC`s action! We are also one to three blocks away from several grocery stores, Capital Bikeshares and bus lines, including the D6, 92, 90, X8 & more (the stop is literally a stone’s throw from the unit, step out your door and have the city at your fingertips!). If you feel like taking a stroll, Eastern Market, Union Market, Capitol Hill, the Capitol, and Union Station are all within walking distance.  
The D6 Bus can take you directly to the Capitol Building, or you can walk there in under 20 minutes!
