We’re on vacation just like you
so enjoy our home while we’re away!

Stay In:
Prepare gourmet meals with gas-range cooking and every tool, spice and gadget you can possibly imagine. Relax and lounge in the three true bedrooms, each with TVs, extra pillows and comforters; and two bedrooms have direct access into separate spa-worthy bathrooms. We’ve equipped the bedroom level laundry closet with supplies and ironing essentials. We’ve set up guest users for Netflix, Hulu, Max, Prime and, of course, high-speed WiFi. Need to telework
 spread out on the massive desk that elevates to standing position and plug into the 34” curved monitor. The Weber grill on the patio is poised and ready for your pleasure—charcoal, lighter fluid and grilling tools provided.

Head out:
Off-street secured parking (with EV charging) makes city living a breeze! Leave the car parked while you explore on foot, public transit, Capital Bikeshare, or Metro Rail...all either steps away or no more than a 1-mile walk to two different Metro lines (Red and Yellow/Green). Feel safe returning home after dark to our professionally designed and well-lit exterior in both front and back yards.

Our community is quiet with excellent neighbors and picturesque with tree-lined streets and a family-filled park only two blocks away. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, fitness centers, etc. are in abundance and in every direction. Yelp and Google will be your best resources.

This is the best rental I have ever stayed in. The house is immaculate. The hosts have set this home up as if they are having family visit them... not strangers. The softness and amazing smell of the towels, super soft toilet tissue, comfortable bedding and all sorts of other amenities made our quick visit so nice! Gorgeous home very close to area attractions

We had a wonderful stay at Ron and Maria’s! Their place is just like the pictures and was the perfect space for our group! They also were very responsive to all of our questions and were great hosts! You can walk to the metro station in about 25 minutes or drive there and park your car. The metro was a great way to explore the city! Would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area!

Oh my, where do I even begin? From the moment I booked, communication with our hosts, Ron and Maria, was absolutely outstanding. Their home is perfection, every detail thoughtfully considered to make us feel truly at home while away. It wasn’t just spotless; it radiated warmth, coziness, and a genuine welcoming vibe. We even had the pleasure of meeting some of the neighbors, who were just as friendly and kind. All in all, it was an absolutely wonderful stay, truly a five star experience!

One of the best!!!!

We've stayed a lot of VRBO properties over the past 17 years. This one is at the top of our list. Spacious, yet defined spaces - each area unique. The amenities are over the top - best outfitted kitchen we've encountered (as good as home, and we are "foodies" who love to cook). Furniture is comfortable, unique and different in each space. Artwork and decorations didn't come from Home Goods - incredibly thoughtful design. The place is CLEAN, inside and out. Front and back porches! Inside work space for those of us who like to get things done while traveling - and not some tiny dysfunctional desk. The neighborhood is safe - we walked it twice daily covering lots of blocks. Met the neighbors - super nice too! Overall - we rate this a 10 and will be back as we love to visit DC.

warm, lovely home perfect for family stays

What a delight to spend our daughter‘s graduation weekend in this exceptional property that was just right for 5 of us and 2 grandparents. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen pristine and tasteful, the living room perfect for hanging out, chatting, watching tv, napping, reading, or working, and the dining table just right for bringing in meals or cooking. Everything has been thought of here: there are ample and varied kitchen utensils, a fully stocked medicine cabinet, extra towels and bedding, luggage racks in each of the big bedroom closets, clear instructions for everything, and overall a welcome and warm feeling to this beautiful home. We were comfortable on the front porch with our coffee amid trees and birdsong and the friendly feeling of the neighborhood, and it is convenient to get anywhere. We parked safely on the street as well as in the secure back garage spot. There is nothing to improve upon here. We are grateful to the hosts for their warmth and availability, and highly recommend this home to any DC travelers. We were so sorry to leave and will certainly return!

Our recent stay at Gomes Manor was absolutely phenomenal and sincerely exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear that the hosts pour their heart and soul into every detail, making it feel less like a vacation rental and more like a cherished home away from home.The attention to detail was simply unparalleled. Every corner of the house was meticulously clean and thoughtfully appointed. From the plush towels and high-quality linens to the fully stocked kitchen with every utensil and appliance imaginable, they had truly thought of everything. We especially appreciated the sweet welcome note, bottle of wine and special treats they left...it’s these little touches that elevate a good stay to an unforgettable one.The hospitality extended by Ron and Maria was warm, genuine, and incredibly responsive. They were always available to answer questions and offer fantastic local recommendations, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of privacy and attentive support.We were visiting the area for the July 4th holiday and to see all of the museums, monuments and experiences that DC has to offer and it brought us great comfort knowing that we had such an immaculate home base to return to at night to unwind and relax.This property is honestly the BEST we've ever had. We stayed at home away from home so we could explore Washington DC. Location is great. House is beautiful and exceptionally clean and has everything you could ever need. The kitchen is amazing and well stocked with anything you need to prepare meals.We really loved everything. The welcome bottle of wine, chocolates and cookies were a special touch Awesome parking.
