With bold pink accents of bougainvillea, soft sweeps of blue and grey, the crispness of white and the rustic and caramel tones of timber and tile, this Little Cove apartment is equal parts cosy charm and beautiful colour therapy. And with its surrounds unfolding in a verdant canopy of plant life, it truly presents a green to envy.
The Space:
Sitting directly opposite Little Cove, the two-bedroom getaway makes its home in the Bayona complex, which blends proximity to Noosa’s tourist hot spots with the peace of a little distance from them. This makes it ideal for friends, family or a combination of the two.
Perfect for budget-minded visitors, the property finds its heart in the warm and welcoming. This begins in the bedrooms, which are positioned together in an easy arrangement for parents to keep an eye on their little ones. With beautiful sun and moonlight flooding the spaces, a restful sleep is all but guaranteed.
Moving through the floorplan, a sheltered kitchen positioned among stylish arches is part workspace, part source of inspiration for eager home chefs. With the fabulous array of local produce, seafood and more on offer at the markets, it’s a chance to unleash the kind of culinary creativity that normal life doesn’t often allow, before inviting guests to the adjacent dining zone to present a feast for their eyes and tastebuds.
The open-plan lifestyle hub continues across a chat zone made for two and an enticing lounge, which is positioned around a television. Yet there’s little need to turn it on in a hurry, as the best reality show of all is playing right outside, accessed through full-width doors. Here, an expansive and partly covered balcony captures the wonder of nature in all its glory, from the lush bushland surrounds and the high notes of birdsong to dazzling teal glimpses of the ocean beyond. It’s a panorama that can’t help but leave you speechless, and also makes a beautiful backdrop to meals grilled on the barbecue and served in the alfresco dining zone.
Once you’re settled and ready to explore, the choices for adventure are myriad. Close by is Little Cove beach, which is a favourite among locals and families for its smaller crowds. Elsewhere, surfing breaks entice keen riders while Noosa National Park is a readymade excuse to grab your camera and water bottle and lose yourself beneath its gorgeous canopy of green.
In the other direction, the amenities of Hastings St await, from chic boutiques and bespoke retailers to acclaimed restaurants that elevate the simplest of ingredients to the most delicious of fare. Book in for a meal, and if luck prevails, you may even score a seat with views of gorgeous Main Beach. It’s enough to whet your appetite for a stroll on its sands, a swim in beautiful Laguna Bay or even a session of chill time under the shade of a beach brolly. Surrounded by golden sands and turquoise waters, with a dazzling blue sky overhead, it will be a chance to enjoy a beautiful colour palette chosen just for you by Mother Nature. Not just a green to envy, but ever shade and nuance of the rainbow. Enjoy.
