Explore the island and return to a quiet space, surrounded by trees and an ocean view. Watch hummingbirds and resident fawns feed as you enjoy the 300 sf expansive deck facing the beautiful and private ½ acre yard. The deck also sports a full sized BBQ and patio furniture and large sun umbrella.

The space
This private, one bedroom hideaway offers a large deck with a view of the water; three full skylights and over-sized patio doors flood natural light into the tastefully decorated space featuring vaulted ceilings.

The landscape gas fireplace, 58” large-screen TV, Blu-ray player and movies mean cozy evenings in the beautiful living room. Lots of games, CDs, books and magazines provide hours of entertainment.

The ocean facing bedroom is furnished with solid maple dressers, a luxurious King Size Springair mattress with high thread count linens for the ultimate night's comfort and room-darkening shades to ensure a quiet sleep-in. The extra pull-out in the living room is a queen size deluxe sofa-bed mattress with optional plush memory foam topper.

Hanna's Hideaway features two variable speed/reversible ceiling fans, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, iron and board, hairdryer, water cooler and a dual station live edge desk with wireless internet and a battery backup. The large bathroom with tub and shower features luxurious Egyptian cotton towels.

You will also enjoy a massive private yard and we even provide a bocce set for your enjoyment in the sun when you are not relaxing on the 300 sf deck. Two mountain bikes (upon request) offer you an additional way to explore the beautiful Pender Islands as well as golf clubs on offer to play our beautiful 60 year old local course.

Guest access
Use your private door code for keyless access - the entire space is all yours. A fully covered carport keeps you and your car dry. The owners are nearby for help or advice, but won't interrupt your stay. Wander down the driveway and walk along the main road to the waterfront at beautiful Mortimer's Spit -only a one kilometre walk away.

Other things to note
The 58” Samsung TV offers some traditional channels through an antenna as well as a selection of streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Crave, HBO and Prime Video (availability rotates). The cottage also has a smart Nest video speaker equipped with a premium Spotify account.

The fully stocked kitchen has all amenities, including pots and pans, many small appliances (espresso, coffee maker and microwave) and some spices, oils, condiments, complete coffee and tea station and staples like rice and pasta. Dishwasher, gas range, microwave, double sink and ample cabinet and counter space allow for quick or full on meal prep. In the case of power failures, Hanna's includes a gas fireplace, gas range top, BBQ, water cooler and even a backup battery for internet connection.
