About this space
Welcome to our centrally located 3-story character home that is perfect for work crews or groups looking to stay near the airport and major healthcare facilities! Just blocks away from the Health Sciences Center, Women's Hospital, and Children's Clinic, as well as easy access to Downtown, Red River College, and The University of Winnipeg.
Our spacious unit features 4 bedrooms, a living room, separate dining room, kitchen, one full bathroom, and an extra toilet room. Park for free in our gated back yard and enjoy the convenience of both front and rear access to the unit. Please note that there will be other guests on the main floor occupying the 2 other suites.
Please be aware that this unit is spread out over the 2nd and 3rd floors, so stairs are a must. The house is located in a lower income neighborhood in downtown.
Free cleanings once per month during your stay. A fee of $125 is charged at booking which covers cleaning and restocking of amenities at the end of your stay.
Please keep in mind that this unit is not recommended for families with young children.

My husband and I hail from Jamaica. However, Canada has been home now for decades. Hosting has given us the opportunity to not only provide a comfortable place for those in need of a home away from home, but has also enabled us to support our local community. Our cleaners, maintenance personnel, numerous restaurants and other local businesses benefit from guests visiting our homes. Offering food and/or shelter is the greatest way to show our humanity.

There aren't many affordable places to stay while visiting the Hospital for lengthy treatments. This house is within walking distance to one of the most important hospitals we have here on the Prairies. The Health Sciences Center which includes Children's Hospital and Cancer Care, We offer this place as an option for those still needing a place to make home made meals and to simply call home while visiting this area of the city for whatever reason.
It is an older neighborhood with low income homes but, it's affordable, clean and in a convenient location.

This is one of the largest homes on the street. It stands out with the big wrap around porch and tall frame. Lots of character. If you enjoy older buildings, you will definitely appreciate this one
