This is an excellent home, well appointed, well kept and clean. The host was excellent and communicated well. The setting is very good, the kitchen is excellent, good for cooking with plenty of pots/pans, utensils and plates/bowls. I can't recommend enough and would definitely stay again.

Such a great stay! The house was wonderful--clean, lots of space, secluded. Was the perfect spot for our three-generation family getaway.Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely consider renting again!

Very comfortable house, with everything provided. The 4 homes are close together, so it’s ideal for group gatherings. Beautiful area with stunning scenery.

Great place for family time

My only complaint is that it was too short. We all had a great stay at Mountain Escape while spending special family time. Everything we needed was provided.

Family Thanksgiving

We gathered at Mountain Escape for our family Thanksgiving. The cabin was stunning and the views were amazing. The owners were attentive to our needs and very responsive. This is a great cabin for a family vacation!

Christmas Vacation

It was great we absolutely loved the cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. We were so glad it was decorated for Christmas. We made some great memories. The only down fall was the parking it was very tight, and the main floor heating was not working.

Great Cabin

Family get together went great! A little difficult following GPS as all signal lost as we left Hwy 23/441. Suggest that visitors get directions before heading on to 1 lane roads. (They don't go away when signal is lost!That being said, this was a wonderful place to stay. All family members thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

Great family gathering place!

Our family gathered here to spend time together before everyone went back to school, work, etc. What a fun and peaceful place to be! With hiking nearby and on site amenties—fire pit, well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, pool table, and games, there was something for every. When we had a few glitches, the property manager was quick with replies. We would like to return!

Fall Family Weekend

We loved our stay in Franklin! The house was spacious enough for 8 adults and 7 kids. We loved the outdoor spaces as well. We explored Franklin one day and stayed at the house the next. There was plenty for the kids to do to stay entertained! We were also impressed with the amount of supplies that were available in the kitchen. There were also more than enough linens to use. We will definitely be back!

We had 4 houses for some of our wedding guests. This one was great. Plenty of SUV parking, outstanding views, and great bedrooms with en suite baths, no sharing 🙂.

Amazing Cabin!!!

Cabin is very nice and stocked with everything you will need!!! Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows, games, etc. Kitchen is also extremely well stocked with utensils, pots and pans!!! My only advice is if you aren’t acquainted with mountain roads/driving, try to time your initial arrival before sunset to get familiar. Guest host is also very nice and responds promptly!

Nice mountain getaway

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was a little difficult to find and the hot tub was unfortunately down our first night there but Jeanette checked on it for us and did all she can. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at the cabin - there was so much space to either spread out or be together with our family of 14 kids and adults. It was absolutely the perfect place to be shut in for a relaxing weekend. The firepit was great! Only other minor downside might be the shower water pressure but otherwise, everything met/exceeded our expectations.

Magnificent 3 story cabin, all spotless. Excellent management

A family of 11 people easily accommodated, great views and the cabin was beautiful! Very responsive management, The temperature was a record low in years to the point the water reservoir and hoses froze at night on Christmas eve.. The property hosts were more than responsive to fix the issue and provide drinking water in the mean time. Our stay can only be described as amazing! Thank You!!

Family Vacation

My husband, our children and their spouses and children all came together for a weekend "reunion.' The house was incredible and the stay was perfect. The only issue we had was a group of wasps. (we killed 13) But they did not impact us more than an "inconvenience." Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!
