Buck Falls Blockhütte - Chalet Retreat

5 Schlafzimmer, 4 Badezimmer Rustikale Blockhütte in den Smoky Mountains in der Nähe von Highlands, NC und Franklin, NC.
Ein Noisy Creek führt durch das Grundstück neben der Hütte mit einer steinernen Feuerstelle, Hängemöbeln und viel Platz für Spiele und Spaß.
Die Blockhütte verfügt über einen offenen Great Room mit einem Gaslog-Kamin und eine große Küche mit allen Geräten. Fließt zu einem 30 x 20 großen, offenen Deck mit 15 Sitzplätzen im Freien mit BBQ-Gasgrill und Metallfeuergrube für kühle Bergtouren am Abend.
Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Theaterraum mit HD-Großbildfernseher und 8 Lazy-Boy-Loungesesseln, um MOVIES aus einer unglaublichen Videothek zu sehen.

It was an amazing combination of rustic and modern convenience. The kid's had a blast downstairs and oh that tire swing! The deck was perfect, the door from the master leading to the covered porch, chef's kiss. Hopefully it's available when we book for next year. Close to Franklin, Highland's and Cashier's! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Overall the property was amazing. The location is difficult to get to with a car so be warned about that. The matress in the king bedroom needs to be replaced. Otherwise a great stay.

Cabin is very open and spacious, loved huge deck and screened porch. Cabin location is very private and quiet. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic!

The cabin itself is fantastic. Soaring ceiling in the kitchen and living room area. Wonderful decks with beautiful views. The sound of the bubbling brook running through the property is great! Our family of 6, plus a friend had the best time and made wonderful memories. Nearby Franklin and Highlands have great little shopping areas and we saw a couple of incredible waterfalls that really made the trip (Dry Falls and Cullasaja).

Buck falls

Very nice property with plenty of space for a large group to spread out when they want and to gather together. Nice screened in rear upper porch, huge side deck area and a spacious game room for everyone in the evenings.

Love this cabin

We arrived and were happily surprised that everything was as listed and shown. Had fires in fire pit. Played tons of pool and cards in game room. Had fun family dinners in dining room. A wonderful place to stay.

Family get together

This place is ideal for a family get together or reunion. There were eight adults and two children, and we had plenty of room to move around in and avoid each other if we wanted to there’s lots of deck space and outdoor. The only thing I would we would’ve liked is for the grocery store to be a little bit closer so be sure you have everything you need because it’s quite a drive to go pick something up if you forget it

Mountain Vacation

We enjoyed our stay, the house was much nicer then the pictures showed! (new picture should be taken) plenty of room for all of us. My grandson loved the tire swing. The screened porch was wonderful for breakfasts in the am and card playing in the evening. Loved our stay.

Nice retreat

We rented this cabin to spend New Years and it was lovely, it was a great to be apart from the city and experience nature. We didn't spot much wildlife, but we did go to a lake and a waterfall that is a short drive away. The house itself it big, and all rooms were enough for us 8.

Life long friends mountain visit

The cabin was fantastic. It was equipped with all necessary items and more. Plenty of room for our group and a very peaceful area. We have been coming to this are for 40+ years camping but because of age we no longer desire to sleep in tents on air mattress. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits.

Secluded but close

The Buck Falls Cabin was charming...very homey. The cabin was well equipped with plenty of towels, kitchen items, to do's for the grandchildren of all ages, jukebox, movies and the list goes on. We had a wonderful get away to power down, and enjoyed that we were close to activities, Highlands, Franklin, etc. when we wanted to get out. The property managers, Jerry and Sally, were wonderfully helpful!

Highlands Hideaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain retreat near Highlands, NC. The deck and screened-porch are spectacular with beautiful wooded views. The living area has plenty of room for a large family, and we loved the downstairs rec room, which had a pool table and an arcade console with class games like Space Invaders and Pac Man! The bedrooms were quite spacious, and the master opens out onto the screened porch. The only drawback would be the steep and winding gravelled road leading up to the house, but you soon get used to it! A great property for anyone wishing to enjoy all the Highlands has to offer.

Perfect family getaway!

We were more than pleasantly satisfied with all accomodations, cleanliness, and ease of booking. We had four wonderful days with family away from the hussle and bussle of our very busy lives. We cooked and baked in the wonderfully stocked kitchen and enjoyed all areas of the cabin...we were happy to stay in the entire time. The extra basement frig was good for additional food/beverages for our group of 8. The mattresses allowed for a good night's sleep, but not the best quality. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again...thinking about next year already!

The house was clean and ready for us! Love the touch of having toiletry items in the bathroom for us! My only complaint, which wasn’t a big deal, not all the recliners work in the theater room. We will definitely be back!

The Hammock Will Bring You Back

We had the best time and it was just what we needed for our Christmas holiday. They even had a tree for us to decorate. The spiral staircase takes a little getting used to, but you can also walk around outside to get to the bottom floor. The absolute best, though, was napping in the hammock listening to the little creek. We all wished we had another day and we will definitely be back if they’ll have us!

Wonderful for Large Family Get Together

Large and spacious home, excellent for entertaining large group of friends/family. The home is as wonderful as the photos. The only complaint was that some entertainment items were not functional: Arcade machine, jukebox, and slot machine. The DVD collection is outstanding for movie night or a rainy day. The spiral staircases make transition between floors quick and easy, except for older folks. Outdoor entertaining area is wonderful. Plenty of room and choice of seating. Just a great place to share fun times with family and friends!
