Der wunderschöne Sugar Creek schlängelt sich um die große, abgeschirmte Veranda der Wildacre-Hütte, nur wenige Meter entfernt. Schlafen Sie bei geöffneten Fenstern und lassen Sie sich nachts vom Sprudeln des Baches einschläfern.

Genießen Sie einen entspannten Nachmittag in der Hängematte am Bach oder entspannen Sie in den Schaukeln auf der abgeschirmten Veranda. Tisch und Stühle stehen auf der abgeschirmten Veranda zur Verfügung, damit Sie bequem am Bach speisen können. Picknicktische am Bach. Toast Marshmallows im Lagerfeuerring. Wandern Sie auf dem Grundstück, das den Bach mehrmals überquert, oder auf dem Pin-Hoti-Trail (der in Benton McKaye in den Appalachian Trail mündet), der nur 1,6 km entfernt liegt.

It was absolutely so peaceful. There is so much to do in the area but I did not want to leave the cabin. Sitting out under the stars by the fire was amazing. Cannot wait to come back.

Want to give a bad review but I can’t

In all honesty we would want to keep this our secret so we could go there more often.5 stars is simply not enough.Where do we start? It has to begin with that screened in porch. The sound of the creek, the wildlife, the crickets at night. The rain on the roof! The cabin…exquisite and incredibly cozy.The hosts reached out to us prior to arrival to ensure we had all we needed. Directions, explanations and information for the cabin.There was even a guest basket left for us and we enjoyed it…on the porch of course.We have stayed at many locations and this truthfully was by far the overall best experience.

Loved the property! First thing my husband said was " I feel like a kid again at the creek in Ohio where I grew up". The thought that was put into everything at the cabin, from the movies, books and crayons, to the fire pit and shooting station. Everything was perfect!

The Creekside Cabin was a magical place for our family of 5's summer vacation! Directions and check in instructions were readily available. Upon entering the rustic and quaint cabin, we were greeted by an updated and comfortable interior. The living room was plush and the beds were comfy with lots of pillows and extra blankets. The hosts had left a gift basket with fresh fruit, snacks, and wine! The kitchen was well stocked with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven and stove top. There was even waffle mix and a waffle iron for our breakfast the next morning (we only needed butter and water to make). The cabin is nestled in a valley between the small towns of Chatsworth and Ellijay. We stocked up on groceries to enjoy most of our meals at the cabin. Our teenage boys loved playing in the creek out front of the cabin! I recommend bringing river shoes for walking in the creek as some spots are slippery. The hosts provided a basket of towels, small tubes and water toys as well as a couple of chairs for sitting in the water (that was my favorite part)! Definitely bring plenty of bug spray as there, understandably, are bugs in the summer time. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch too. There is a precious flower and herb garden beside the cabin and a large vegetable garden on the ridge nearby. The hosts also provided firewood for the fire circle near the creek as well as metal marshmallow roasting sticks. Highly recommend!!!

Peaceful Retreat

An absolute gem! Couldn’t get enough of the lovely screened porch with the sounds of the creek and gentle breeze. Loved the solitude of the property but easy paved access. Other than a quick trip into Ellijay and a short hike on the Pinhoti Trail, I enjoyed just relaxing at the property. It had everything I needed - the welcome basket was a nice surprise! I’ll definitely keep this on my list!

Perfect Little Get Away

We were welcomed by the gentle sound of the creek and the sweet smells of a clean and cozy cabin. Judy was attentive to all of our needs. The kids loved looking for salamanders and crawfish under rocks by the creek and roasting marshmallows by the camp fire. I loved laying in the hammock reading my book, while my husband fished the creek. On the cold day and night we enjoyed a fire inside nestled on the couch watching one of the hundreds of available movies. The master bath was better than expected. We enjoyed our short drive to Blueridge and Ellijay for horseback riding and shopping. There is much history to learn about in this area and Fort Mountain had one of the most breathtaking overlooks I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend this cabin, my only regret was not booking it for longer.

Great stay at a beautiful location

Love the view and all of the amenities on the property. Had great communication with the host. We especially appreciated the Wildacre Duh guide for surrounding areas and gift basket waiting upon our arrival. We can't wait to stay again!

Relaxing getaway

Cabin was remote but still easy to get to other things in the area. Sitting on theScreened in back porch listening to the creek babbling was just what we needed. Crossed the creek to explore the trail-lots of fun! The welcome basket was a nice surprise! What a peaceful place—would highly recommend. Judy was quick to reply to any questions we had and there was a lot of info about things to do in the area.

Beautiful and Peaceful Property

We stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. There is so much to see and explore on this beautiful piece of land, and the peacefulness of evenings spent by the fire pit or in the rocking chairs listening to the creek can’t be beat. Coming from a very overpopulated county in FL, this was a world away and the utmost peace and quiet. We saw deer, otters, fish, turtles, etc and loved it. Judy was just a text away for anything we needed, and they put so many thoughtful touches into the cabin and property, including a very sweet welcome basket. We’ll be back!
