Jump for Joy is our cozy cabin that will allow you to unwind and escape life on a wooded 1.5-acre space. You decide your vibe: Cup of coffee on the porch swing for a serene sunset. Or cozy up with a good book by the fire. Or after a long day of exploring the great outdoors, the kitchen awaits for a cozy dinner and pajama time. Top off the evening with s’mores by the outdoor fire pit. Close enough to shopping and dining, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Tranquility is priceless!

It's a quaint space full of great vibes and energy. The front porch is perfect for an early morning cup of joe or a sunset cocktail. Our living area and kitchen are on the smaller side, but the kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty meals and there's plenty of space to lounge for an evening of board games or Netflix time! Escape to the expansive bedroom loft for a perfect afternoon nap, catching up with a good book, or get that extra sleep in time you've been dreaming of. Please note: Use google maps or Waze for directions, and consider printing directions prior to arrival.

Birthday getaway

The cabin is awesome! The front porch swing was the favorite. Being able to see the stars a night and the amazing sunsets. Just the relaxing getaway we both needed.

Perfect getaway

We walked around the whole neighborhood to explore and loved it! There are two communal areas around a lake which are kept very clean. The house is about 15 minutes from town. We really enjoyed our time there!

Great place near Elijay to stay

We loved this place. We go to north GA every year for apple season and this place was near every place we go. Cabin has everything you need. Very clean. Hope to go back next year. Thanks for having us.

Incredible Cabin in the Woods

What an adorable place. We were fortunate to have stayed here a month! We need a place while we looked for our forever home! Host were outstanding and prompt with answers to our questions! We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed our daily walks around the neighborhood. Best part of all was that we could bring our dog with us! Peaceful, comfortable and just what we needed after selling our home in Florida.

Cute cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Far enough from town to enjoy nature but close enough to be able to soak in Ellijay! We even saw a mama bear and a cub from the back porch!! The only thing I was thrown off by was there is a cabin in the front yard basically and you share a driveway. Wasn’t expecting that but we definitely had a great time!

Perfect Getaway!!

The place was perfect! Everything was just as the listing showed. No surprises. The only thing was the wall unit for Heating and Air Conditioning operation was convoluted and it was not functioning well at all. This was on the top and the bottom floor. Glad for snuggling and warmer weather in November. I can only imagine being there in the summer GA Heat. The owners instructions were pretty straightforward. The place was great otherwise!!

Great place for a couples getaway who wish to take their dog

Renting the property was very easy, and the property is very accommodating. It sits at the end of a dirt driveway with only one other home. It’s secluded and very peaceful.

Family trip to parks

The rental is adorable and has lovely decorations. The porch is great, my son loved swinging on it after hiking each day. My daughter loved that it was so cute. It did need a coffee table since there isn't room for a kitchen table. Otherwise it was a great stay and I would recommend.

Cozy and secluded

A very nicely appointed cozy cabin far from the maddening crowd. Dog friendly for sure - even has extra leashes, bowls and milk bones to share. The tub is fun but really not too practical if you like a leisurely shower. Comfy bed with a separate a/c unit which we appreciated as we like it cold. The porch swing is great. A couple TV trays or tables would be nice as there is no table for eating. Close to Ellijay but far enough away to feel in the middle of nowhere. More than met our needs.

Loved this cozy cabin getaway we loved zip lining and hiking we also visited the swan drive in movie theater which was incredible definitely would recommend this cabin!

Lovely, quiet stay

The cabin is exactly as advertised. Enjoyed the front porch every day after exploring Ellijay and surrounding towns. Cabin is remote, so very peaceful environment. The booking warns you that you need a vehicle that can handle some rough roads. You definitely do, but we had the right truck, and the roads were no problem. Would definitely like to return in the future.

Neighborhood overview

Only 15 minutes from the Downtown Ellijay Village, you can stop at our local coffeehouse for a steaming cappuccino or browse several of the adorable boutiques or antique stores.
Mingle with locals at the Saturday Farmer’s Market (while in season) or at a local city event. Have a cold beverage or yummy meal at one of the many tasty restaurants in town. You’ve got casual choices or more upscale options to please your taste buds.

Getting around

It's an easy drive back to the cabin, however, there is a small drive on a dirt/gravel road that can be rough, so drive carefully and know vehicles that are super low to the ground may not be recommended. To avoid getting lost, we highly recommend you screenshot or print directions to the location as a backup for using your GPS. Different carriers can be spotty on the drive back. Don't worry, the WIFI strength in the cabin is great!
