Game room includes foosball, ping pong, pool table, bar and TV and has been newly renovated. Relax under the stars in the hot tub, gather with friends and family by the fire pit, enjoy the front porch rocking chairs, and grill out on the back deck! Don`t forget the Kids` Creativity Cabin! A tree fell on the gameroom on the first day and made it and the outdoor room unavailable for the entire week. The main house was good, but without the gameroom and extra outdoor room, it was a bit tight.

Great house, only complaint was the cleaning staff was there before 11 as we rushed around to get out. Very annoying, my big complaint about all these rentals, why charge us a full day when we cant get into a property until 4pm on first full day and leave at 11 on final day.

The house has a water damage smell to it and you can tell that the home was broken into prior to our stay. The kitchen door had a glass panel missing by the door knob that had a pad a tape on it. The maintenance team was their replacing the locks on the front and game room door. The light in the children’s playroom didn’t work. There were no oven mits in the kitchen which made it challenging to use the oven safely. The hot tub had an overpowering smell of chemicals. The firepit was beautiful with the view of the mountains. The game room was our favorite. Lots of fun games.

Beautiful log cabin. Very clean. Great location. Ideal for a family get away. We had fun in the massive game room where we played pool and ping pong and listened to great music.The beds were very comfortable. This is a perfect cabin in the woods with a great location. The well water is less than desirable, it was our only issue. It has a strong mineral taste. You might want to consider providing bottled drinking water and possibly ice. We appreciated Brandon being flexible and allowing us to move our dates by a day. The communication with Brandon was quick and clear. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for two families with young kids

We rented this fantastic property for a family reunion over thanksgiving. It was the perfect size for four adults and four young kids. We brought in two single air mattresses, but you could easily use the couch instead. The beds are comfy and there are lots of TVs. Very clean. Bathroom downstairs is a little dated but it works fine. The hot tub was clean and such a luxury in the fall. We especially enjoyed the Party Barn! Such a magical spot for our family to spend time together playing games. Grocery store is close by. Asheville is a 15 min drive. Water is well water, we bought a couple gallons of water from the grocery store. We will be back!!

Awesome Stay!

This property was PERFECT for our family mountain weekend (Grandma, 2 couples, and 3 grandkids - and our dog)! We had so much space between the house, school house, game room and outdoor area. The kitchen was modest, but had everything we needed. The beds were SO comfortable and the bedrooms themselves were spacious and inviting. We loved the living room couch so much, we’re going to buy the same model. The house is close enough to the city, but far enough away to make it feel secluded. Grocery store and liquor store proximity was awesome. Only thing I would suggest is updating the signage from the road, as the mailbox numbers were hard to see. The check-in and departure processes were easy and the concierge communication was helpful. We’re already hoping to return next year to the same property! Highly recommend for larger or extended families with kids of all ages!

So much potential - not quite ready

I was very excited to stay at this location as it was large enough to sleep our family of 8 adults and allowed dogs. The property at first glance matched the photos and we appreciated the amenities provided. However, it was obvious that this was likely a quick flip to make it marketable. There were many rough parts on the entire property (spray foam to fix interior cracks in walls/ceilings, chunks of tile missing from kitchen backsplash, outdoor lights with exposed wiring, patches of plywood to repair floors/walls, etc). Unfortunately, this poor work led to a larger issue with ants in the bed of the small cabin and bees nesting on the chimney of the main house, ultimately coming inside through the walls and ceilings. The property made us aware of the bees 20 mins after the check-in time and after we had been driving for hours from multiple cities. Though we were offered a full refund, it was too late for us to change our plans and we accepted the liability of staying in the property. After a day, we realized that the hive was not a recent addition and seemed very established. I can't understand how they were not aware of it sooner. The ants occured on the third night of our stay and the only solution for both the bees and ants making two rooms unusable was air mattresses in the garage sleeping 4 people there. Not ideal for the price. The property did reimburse for some fees and one night out of our three, but overall, this location did not live up to my expectations.

The house was very clean. We arrived late at night, so not having an outside light was a little bit difficult. There is a light installed, but it was not on nor was it able to be turned on. The beds were comfortable, the game room was awesome. It should not be advertised as four bedrooms considering the fourth bedroom is a freestanding building with no access to a restroom. We had to readjust our sleeping arrangements to accommodate the lack of a fourth bedroom. The property is also older than expected, the pictures do not quite match up to reality. Overall, it was a great facility with regard to space and things to do, I just wish the sleeping arrangements had been more clear when I booked. Also, considering the number of people, the house can sleep, and there is a hot tub, they’re either needs to be more towels, or more laundry pods, so that the towels can be washed. It should also be advertised that you are using well water and may need to pick up water on your way in.

The bedrooms all upstairs were nice, but again no air conditioning, however as long as downstairs was very cold it was bearable at night with ceiling fans. The kitchen needs more amenities, such as a can opener and dish towels and more paper products. Also the water is very yellow, especially noticed when trying to bathe the baby, not so comfortable. Overall the property can definitely entertain a family of different ages, but a few more amenities could go a long way.
