Günstig gelegen mit einfachem, sofortigem Zugang zum Meer und zum Golf durch Vaca Cut, nur wenige Minuten von den weltbesten Orten zum Angeln, Schnorcheln und Tauchen entfernt. Dock ist 37 Meter lang mit Strom und frischem Wasser, Fischreinigungstisch und Köderfroster. Zwei ergänzende Cruiser-Fahrräder sind ebenfalls enthalten. Diese Eigenschaft wird Sie dazu bringen, Jahr für Jahr 'Tiki Time' für Ihre tropischen Auszeiten zu erleben!

We had a great time staying at Tiki Time! The house was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the house was. Anything and everything you could think of was provided. The extra refrigerator, bait freezer, fishing poles, extension cords, etc, etc, etc this house has everything you could need. We will definitely visit Tiki Time again soon!

Home Away from Home in Paradise!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything we needed and more was provided. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect and we're already looking forward to staying again next year. We enjoyed walking and biking to Inch Beach for the beautiful sunrises and Sunset Park for the sunsets and having coffee and cocktails afterwards under the tiki on the canal. Thanks to Mark and Lynne's thoughtful list of Things to Do, we found beautiful Sombrero Beach. It's only a few minutes away and you can snorkel, fish and bird watch there. It has clean facilities and a nice park, too. We were very pleased and highly recommend Tiki Time!

Nice place

House was just as advertised. No big surprises. Good fishing when you figure out where to go. We booked charter early to get tips, then rented a boat went on our own. Thought we’d get something in the canal but no luck. Cabana club is fairly small and difficult to get seats unless you went early. Sombrero beach is much nicer but need to arrive early to get a parking spot.

Great place to bring your boat

First the rental was great, we brought our boat and kept it steps for the back door tie to the dock. Canal was wide and deep and clean. the tiki hut was awesome at dinner and breakfast. But be aware, the city of Key Coney is very sticked. They gave us two citations, first was $100 for our boat trailer being 14 ft from the road instead of 20 ft. And the second was leaving the recycle bin out to long $50. But again, this was a great rental to stay and would come back.

The run down

We stayed here as a family of 4 and the situation was ideal. Two bedrooms and two baths in a great location. I think the place was nicer and more comfortable than the pictures suggest. We were right at home here with the amply equipped kitchen and house. We rented a boat one day and we’re easily able to dock it on the canal. Some things to consider are that the outdoor space is right next to another rental so you may have company when you use it. Also, there are a fair number of rules in key colony that have to be followed— a very regulated community that is also very quiet. However this keeps the area quite nice and we really enjoyed staying in this community. We really enjoyed access at the cabana club. The pool was amazing and the beach access provided was perfect for young children. All in all we would absolutely stay again!!!

SUMMER BOAT FUN

The property was very clean & comfortable inside. The outside tikii was awesome, but if you have a boat, the dock needs a little work. The middle post needs to be replaced since it s broken & cleats should be installed on all the posts. Also, we had to switch the hose with the hose in front of the house to be able to connect to the engines to clean salt water. We couldn' t separate the hose nozzle it was stuck on. My husbandf even bought a WD40 and it still would not seperate..

The location is great. Outdoor furniture was ok. Table was filthy. Obviously, the cleaning people don't do outside. Inside the kitchen table was sticky. I scrubbed it and it didn't matter the varnish was worn and it was sticky. Living room furniture was uncomfortable. The couches were angled and you slid back and justnot comfortable. The 2nd bathroom the toilet wasn't flushing. My husband fixed it. We plan on returning but not totjat unit. It needs work. Painting, etc

Very nice place!

This review is a little late but I wanted to express our extreme satisfaction with Tiki Time! We absolutely enjoyed everything about the duplex. The accommodations were nice and the kitchen was very updated and well stocked with everything you would need for a weeks stay. The grounds were very clean and the tiki hut was a welcome addition as it was very hot most days we were there. The duplex was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the King sized bed in the master is a plus. The bathrooms had good water pressure. I can't comment on the TV/DVD as we never turned it on the entire week but the internet had good range. You could sit under the Tiki hut and still get a good signal. This was a wonderful place and hope we will be able to rent it again the next time we come down to the Keys. Key Colony is a wonderful place. This was my third time to stay in here and it has never disappointed. This was the first time staying here and owners have made this a little oasis in the middle Keys.

enjoyed our stay

This is our 3rd year going to the keys for lobster season, and we have stayed in several VRBO properties in key colony. We were pleased with the location of the duplex, the trailer parking and overall furnishings in Tiki Time 1. We would definately rent this property again if the owners made some repairs and replaced the mattress. We brought our boat and found the cleats on the dock needed to be replaced and secured to the pilings or dock. The light fixture, fan and switch in the out door tiki hut was broken and not functioning so we couldn't use it in the evening. The king size mattress in the master bedroom was worn out and sagged so much in the middle you could see the valley in the middle of the mattress when it had the bedspread on it. Two people can not sleep comfortably as you roll to the middle. The furniture in the living room was very nice and the sofa was very comfortable as my husband and I took turns sleeping on the sofa when the mattress became to uncomfortable. The kitchen area was very nice. We ate out and didn't cook during our week stay so I wouldn't know how well stocked the cabinets are with dishes and pans, but they appeared to have the basics. A very nice addition was the bait freezer in the carport. The property was in good condition and the interior was clean.

Tiki Time was clean, nice, well appointed. We have stayed in KCB duplexes a few times over the years and this is better than most, very nice updates and great outdoor area. Great location. A couple of pieces of outdoor seating could be replaced but there was plenty of comfortable seating. The dock worked out fine and we had manatees at the dock for about a half hour one morning. We would definitely stay here again.

1st Time Keys Visit for the WIN

The goal of our visit was to give our daughter an opportunity to train dolphins in Key Largo for 2 days. She’s a college graduate and wants to move to Hawaii. So us as parents thought give her a chance to see what is was like there to have her a little closer to home. She fell in love with it and is applying for an internship 🥰 Highly recommend Dolphins Plus MMR. Our stay at Key Colony Beach was the best place on all the islands we visited in our opinion. Marks house was located right on the canal. The 1st night we sat on the deck we saw 2 spotted Eagle Ray, a 5’ shark, 2 manatee. Other nights were turtles, LOTS of iguanas, fish, pelicans and more. We definitely enjoyed the canal. Had a few minor issues but called the property manager and he quickly resolved them. The beaches were not desirable but were told that’s just seasonal. The seaweed was terrible making them not swimmable. (on most of the keys) We did goto Bahai Honda State Park to do a little snorkeling along (swam over a nurse shark) and John Pennekamp State Park but just waded in the water as they were to have crocodiles. Visited Key Largo 2 times. Once to do the Duval St. bar crawl-highly recommended and the other for sunset cruise. Also recommended. Went to Key Largo 2 times. Not recommended unless going to Dolphins Plus. Went on a diving/snorkeling trip with Captain Hook’s dive center in Big Pine Key. Favorite part of the whole trip. The reef was so beautiful and even saw a shark! Surprisingly was not scared. They’re very magestic. The best place to eat was Island Fish Co. the food/drinks were great and the sunset was the prettiest we saw! Porkey’s was also very good. I don’t know what I thought the Fl Keys were going to be like-maybe more like a Caribbean feel-it wasn’t. A little more rustic and rigid. Would we come back? Maybe. If our daughter gets a job in Key Largo who knows we might get a house there. Would we stay at Marks house again? ABSOLUTELY! Overall had a great time!

Well kept, clean and centrally located

The 2bd 2bath fit us perfect. My husband, 17 year old son and 67 year old mother stayed the week very comfortable. The home is well maintained, it’s even decorated with a homie touch. The house was equipped with all our needs for a week of lobstering. From the cleaning table to the water hose and nozzle for cleaning. We will definitely be back.
