Description should read that the Queen bed with a twin was actually a queen with a top bunk bed. So climbing involved.Wonderful location in a beautifully updated river home. Near so much in Monticello and Indiana Beach. We deliberately went when Indiana Beach was closed because we are senior citizens wanting to relax. We enjoyed the relaxing peaceful views from the deck and the many local restaurants.Arni's pizza can't be beat!Host was very quick to fix a small issue.

My husband and I chose this place because it was close, we are from Lafayette, and we wanted our children and grandchildren to be able to visit. It was the perfect place for us! Our grandchildren range from adults down to a 4 year old. They all loved it and want to make this a yearly thing. They came on Saturday to cook out, fish and spend time together. It is a beautiful home, clean and very safe for small children learning to fish. Our three granddaughters, in their early twenties, even drove back the next day to hang out! We definitely want to make this a yearly thing!

We loved this property. It is charming, comfortable, clean and since we were there right before Christmas, it was decorated perfectly with a tree and festive holiday additions in every room. The view of the lake is gorgeous!

Great spot. The river was wider than I remember in the pics. The house is built with the river in mind. We brought our own paddle board and kayak and used them a lot. Great deck up top was the prime spot all weekend for the parents while the kids fished. Locals were very nice and helpful. Folks at the bait shop about 400 yards down the road were the nicest people ever. Place was super clean. Grill exceeded expectations. We used the WiFi and TV. We used the entire place with the kids and adults from our two families. Fires out back by the river were the highlight. Easy check in and check out. Thanks!

These wonderful people have thought of every thing to help out families and they were a dream to work with. We loved the property and the people just made it that much better. They had things to help.in case you forgot stuff ( shampoo conditioner etc.) Toys for the kids and the decor was simply wonderful. The most relaxing place I have stayed in a long time. I wish our whole trip could have been as amazing as this cabin on the water. Also every message sent to the host was answered immediately and they were kind enough to grant a late check out due to our circumstances. Thank you.

Great house! The place was SPOTLESSLY clean. House was well stocked with anything we could have needed. Beautiful view from the deck. We saw deer and wild turkeys. Great place to stay!

Perfect Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at your house on the river! The home was very clean, beds were comfortable and the view was so peaceful! The family really enjoyed fishing and the set-up even allowed a toddler to run around and play in the backyard! Everything was very spacious for us and we had everything we needed! This place was absolutely beautiful, next to the river we were able to enjoy the relaxing evenings and mornings! very spacious beds slept very well kitchen had everything you need to stay in cook. Along with a gas grill on deck! I cant say enough wonderful things about this rental

Good fishing

Its a beautifuly kept home with amazing fishing, very close to 2 beautiful golf courses and Indiana beach, For future advice there will be a lot of bugs but only at night so keep the doors closed or the light on the inside off if your going to have a fire

Lovely stay

Loved our time here. Great communication & clearly a lot of care had been taken to make sure all aspects of our stay were enjoyable. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed the outdoor areas as well, got to watch herons, eagles, & a family of baby geese visiting the river. We were also pleased to find a nice fenced area below the top deck for our boys to play that had a yard game & places to relax. Conveniently located too, would definitely stay again.

Great fall get away

Loved the comfort of the home. Beds were very good quality, living room furniture was great also. The view from the deck was amazing. Spent our Saturday morning drinking coffee and just enjoying the scenery and nature. Will come back to the area and stay again.

Awesome family getaway

We stayed for a week, while visiting Indiana Beach. What an amazing house! Every need was catered for with a very well stocked house. Great deck at the back for early morning coffee and sundowners after a long, hot day! Comfortable and big enough for our whole family! It felt like being home- a very stylish home! We will definitely be back!

This property has it all! Great location and close to anything you may need. Home is very accommodating and has all the comforts of home. Very clean home! Beautiful views from the huge deck off the kitchen/dining rooms! Hammock and swing to relax in out of the sun under the deck! A for fishing! We caught fish everyday we were there! The river is very calming to watch as the sun comes up! The restaurant up the way has live music that we enjoyed listening to as we fish late into the night. Very easy to find your way around if you need bait or general shopping. The family USA restaurant is a must! Best food around in our opinion! We enjoyed the drive-in that is just down the road too! We would love to return in the fall. I imagine the change of colors will make for awesome viewing from across the lake. Book now! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful trip making family memories!
