Spacious and comfortable oasis

Our second stay in Puerto Rico was spent in this comfortable unit in Humacao. The gated community is very large and offers restaurant options and beach access. The rental itself is within another gated area and was very close to the pool and within walking distance to the breakfast and beach. We found the home offered enough space for our family of four to spread out and relax in the evenings. The outdoor space was perfect for lounging and reading any time of day or night. Beds were comfortable, showers large and clean and the kitchen was clean and had everything we needed.

Best keep secret in Palmas!!

This Villa is by far the best rental my family enjoyed so far and we rented for the last 15 years down there. The owner takes pride in all the little details from cleanliness ,Kitchen equipment's and bedrooms comfort. Wi-Fi and digital thermostat are of great advantage and the terrace is completely enjoyable for a great breakfast or a late dinner .Fairways Villas always had their areas in pristine conditions and the pool or Jacuzzi are great.We hope we can rent again in a near future. Thanks Carlos for let us enjoy your home!!

The listing said that the beach was five minutes walk . This is not correct. It is more like 10 minutes and it is difficult to find a route. I had to contact the host to find out where the pass was to get through the gate. The listing said there was a gym available, but didn’t say that there was a 25 fee to use it.Most people probably didn’t use the facility to cook as much as we did, and found the kitchen a little lacking in basic equipment. For example, there was no colander.

Fairway Courts

We enjoyed the villa. Most items were ideal. A few additional suggestions to improve the stay..... repaint master bath, add non slip tub mats to the bathtubs... very slippery, champagne/cava or Proseco vs red wine, firmer master bed, remote to the deck fan does not work..... actually two remotes operated the kitchen fan... so likely just need to be reprogrammed.

The villa was spacious and clean. It is conveniently located near the expressway which made it easier to explore the island. The pool was large and a short distance away. I would diffidently recommend it to friends.

Amazing place

We had a wonderful short family vacation. Great location with plenty of different activities for everyone. The place was awesome and super clean, something really important specially during a pandemic. We highly recommend Tortuga Beach House!!!

The villa is gorgeous. Everything is set up for a perfect vacation. Modern, clean, quiet, safe, beautiful. Gorgeous pool. Alexa plays your favorite music :)) Carlos and Serge are very fast with communication via text or emails. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and many many thanks for allowing the late check out.! This was my best VRBO experience (and I travel a lot). Classy Place for a great price!

I loved loved LOVED this place! It was so much nicer in person than pictures. The complex it's on, Fairway Courts, is so nicely kept. I was amazed as soon as you walk into the Tortuga Beach House. The beds were comfortable, the living room was really nice, and I loved the outdoor space. The kitchen had everything you needed. I didn't get the cable to work, but I was able to stream movies and shows on the TVs APP content. I would say however that the condo may not be baby friendly, a lot of fancy breakable decorations, that I had to move out of the way of a very curious 1, and 3 year old, but we made it work. I would definitely recommend this beach house to my family and friends, and will definitely try to stay here in the future if available.

A great vacation in a great villa!

Our villa was an ideal “headquarters” for our week-long vacation in Puerto Rico. It has a huge living room and dining area with a very nice TV, on which we were able to watch all of the games of our beloved Boston Red Sox in the evenings. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils, so we were able to cook breakfast and a few odd meals over our week. When we needed something, Carlos the owner immediately jumped in to respond - once for a missing bottle opener, and when the toaster handle jammed, Carlos had a new one express-shipped and toasting our bagels only a day later! The bedrooms are both spacious and very comfortable - I don’t know what it was about the mattress, but it was just right. The master bedroom has a sliding door out to a huge, nicely furnished balcony overlooking a pond full of turtles and other wildlife. It was great to go out there while it rained and just relax! We didn’t spend much time anywhere else inside Palmas del Mar, but there is a shopping area we went to once, and the grounds are certainly beautiful! Watch for iguanas (big ones), co-qui frogs (well, listen for them), and what looked like a white cockatoo that seems to live in the neighborhood. The night skies are great also, thanks to the clear air! I really am glad I booked with Carlos, and would definitely do so again!
