Sunnynook is nestled right opposite one of the best beaches of Hervey Bay (Shelly Beach) in the chilled seaside suburb of Torquay .. just footsteps from the beautiful calm water's beach and nature boardwalk that stretches from Urangan to Pialba.

Fall asleep to the amazing sound of the ocean, see stunning sunrises and incredible sunsets.
Wake up and it's only a skip across the esplanade for a morning jog, walk or swim in the bay

Everything you need to relax and unwind is here. This tastefully newly re-furnished ground floor unit is directly across the road from the beach and an easy stroll to cafes, and restaurants.
There’s no need for a car as we have 2 bikes we are happy to share for your use to explore Hervey Bay’s fabulous bike paths along the esplanade. Please note, as we are not nearby, we cannot always guarantee the condition of our bikes unfortunately. A well-stocked library of books and board games are also available for your stay.

THE SPACE

THERE ARE 2X LIVING AREAS:
The large sunroom looks across to the esplanade boardwalk and views to the bay. Perfect for lazy days of reading a good novel or playing one of many board games. There is a library of books and board games to enjoy during your stay.
The lounge room has pool views, and you will have full access to the .swimming pool ar your front door.

BEDROOMS
2x Queen size bedrooms situated at the front and back of the unit. There is an extra smart television and DVD player in the front bedroom

BATHROOM
The washing machine and dryer are located in the newly renovated bathroom with a shower

KITCHEN
The kitchen is set up with basic cooking and dining utensils. There is a large fridge/freezer, oven/stove top, crockpot and microwave.

EXTRAS
2x bikes with helmets are for your use to explore the 16km bike-friendly esplanade boardwalk. Unfortunately we can’t always guarantee that the bikes are in perfect working condition due to the occasional misuse by others. You can also hire scooters along the Esplanade, just take your mobile and scan the barcode for instructions..
Beach bucket with beach towels, umbrella, chairs and bag. All you need to enjoy the outdoors.
Easy access to the pool from your unit, perfect for those balmy Hervey Bay days after a swim across the esplanade in the bay.

NOTE: PARKING for vehicles is on the street - you can easily find parking right out in front of the unit

We had an amazing 3 nights stay. The unit has everything we needed and our toddler absolutely loved the pool. The beach is right across the road and lots of good places to eat along the esplanade. We had a great little beach getaway!

Our family stayed here over New Year’s and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic — right across the road from the beach, which made it so easy to go swimming and fishing whenever we liked.The kids were obsessed with the pool, and most of the time we had it completely to ourselves. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay.A big bonus was the bikes available to use — my husband and our eldest had a great time exploring on them.We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again

Easy access to beach, and nearby restaurants. Large apartment with the most comprehensive cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils that I have come across. Only minor issue, doors sticky and difficult to lock (and to remove key). Otherwise a really enjoyable stay.

I would highly recommend this accomodation.Lovely and clean, comfortable beds.Lots of space and in close vicinity to everything.Just be aware you do have to park on the street.

Great location. We loved having the bikes to use.

The front door was difficult to open and close. We liked the charm and decor with its beachy vibe. The road was noisier than we anticipated.

They've thought of everything!

Fantastic location. Close to all amenities. We were so impressed by how thoughtful the owners had been. Bikes available. Beach chairs and beach towels were much appreciated. There were even books and puzzles for a rainy day if needed..The beds were comfy. We stayed for just over a week. Highly recommended.

Everything you could need

Good bed. Good shower. Nice location. Didn’t use the bikes but nice they were offered. A/C was a blessing. This apartment seems a bit rundown on first entering but after we got used to it we found it very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our time in this place.

Paradise on earth !

Absolutely amazing !! Just a short stroll to the beach and what a view !! The property was spotless ! Loved the deco and the vibe throughout. Jesse, my son loved the board games and the pool. Such a fantastic walk, soaking up nature and the people there are just so friendly. I would love to live there. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and great entertainment too ! Little slice of heaven.

Wow Wow Wow ... exceeded beyond expectations

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful unit right opposite the bay and it exceeded all of my expectations. The house was immaculately clean and well-appointed with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable, with views of the bay and easy access to the beach. The pool was also a highlight and perfect for enjoying the warm evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this unit and can't wait to return for another stay!"

Sunnynook stay.

Great location and very comfortable and nicely decorated unit. Really appreciated all the extras that were provided. Would certainly be interested in staying there again. The lights above the bed in the back room did not work. The only inconvenience was having to park on the street and the rude neighbour who chastised us for unloading a heavy esky and bicycles from our vehicle which probably took 5-10 minutes. We had no intention of parking there but thought it reasonable to at least unload there. Having said that would be happy to stay there again.

Die Unterkunft war schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Zwischen der Wohnung und dem Strand liegt eine viel befahrene Straße. Es war wunderbar vor dem aus checken einfach noch mal an den Strand zu können ohne großen Aufwand. Die Schiebetür / Eingangstuer war nicht einfach zu öffnen. Da haben wir einige Zeit beim ein checken mit verplempert.

We enjoy the outdoors and keeping fit and are interested in traveling, eating out and discovering new cafes, art, film and community social work. When we have time spare, we love nothing more than being in Hervey Bay with our SUPs and spending time on the water.

We accidently discovered our piece of paradise on a road trip and found that we wanted more of what Hervey Bay has to offer. We love the laid-back vibe of this coastal town that time slows down. A typical day for us would be to wake early and stroll across to the water for a wake-up swim followed by coffee at our favorite cafe The Spotted Goat. The rest of the day is spent exploring either on the bikes or taking a walk along the boardwalk. There's plenty of restaurants and cafes so close for your choice of meals.
