Urangan puts you right in the heart of the action — the beach is 600 metres away, the marina and Urangan Pier are a short drive, and the whale watching boats leave right from the waterfront. A car is recommended to make the most of day trips to K`gari (Fraser Island) and the surrounding region.

THINGS TO NOTE:
ACCESS: You have full access to the property. we are just a phone call or message away during your stay.

PARKING: There is ample space for parking a trailer or boat along the side of the house, making it a convenient choice for those who wish to explore the stunning natural wonders of the area. * Off street parking available.

INCLUSIVE: As hosts, we welcome all visitors. Overseas guests, people with disabilities, families, and LGBTQI+ friendly.

NOISE: The property is in a peaceful quiet neighbourhood. To respect the peace of the community - we kindly request no loud music or loud parties. Noise curfew 10pm.

SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable security deposit of $500 may be taken as an authorisation hold 2 days prior to check out and released no more than 7 days later. Some or all of the security deposit may be captured if there has been negligent behaviour or intentional damage to the property.

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out the day before check out to see if this is possible.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.

LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.

LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.

CHECK OUT
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.

INFANTS:
For families traveling with infants, please note that we do not supply a porta cot.
Please note that there are stairs at the front and back of the property which are not blocked off with safety gates. The back deck has wire balustrades so it`s not secure of small children.

MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.

PETS: No pets allowed on the property.
HOUSE RULES:
- No noise after 10pm and refrain from causing disturbances to the neighbours to avoid having them complain to local authorities.
- Strictly no parties allowed. Infringement on this rule may result in eviction without refund. Any additional time for the housekeepers to attend or inspect the property outside of their usual cleaning will result in additional administrative fees.
- We will ask for photo ID and a selfie of the person making the booking, primarily to confirm they are over 25 years of age and match the details of the person making the booking. For 3rd party bookings we will need the photo ID of the primary guest staying at the property.
- If there is any damage to the property please inform the host ASAP as additional charges may apply.
- No pets allowed on the property. Additional charges may apply to those who ignore this rule.
- In the event that keys are lost/ damaged/ locked inside the property any time during your stay or check-out, we may need to call a locksmith and additional expenses will be charged to your account. If the cleaner’s or property manager’s schedule is affected by this, further charges may apply.
- Check-out time is 10am. If the cleaner is not able to clean on time, a delayed entry fee may apply. If you require late check-out, please contact the host 72 hours before check-out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
- If you leave any items behind by accident, we are happy to post them back to you. However, we will need to compensate our housekeepers or managers for the postage fee and their time.
-We provide toiletries to get you started. Feel free to visit the nearest grocery store should you wish to restock for yourself.
- Take care of the property and avoid making a mess within the premises. Leaving dishes unwashed or having food items out in the open tend to attract pests and insects that may require pest control.

I rarely write a review but this is an exceptional stay. The house was perfect in every way for our family of four. Spotlessly clean, every amenity available, great coffee machine, BBQ annd utensils are in excellent condition, and clean comfy beds. So convenient for our day trips to Lady Elliott Island and K’gari. Great spot for fish n chips nearby etc. Quick walk to the beach for a morning swim. Stay here!

What a very pleasant surprise this cottage was. Better than pics on website. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms were well presented. Back verandah has view of back yards, lovely outdoor chairs and BBQ. Neighbourhood is very quiet. Good location with access to beach. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Had a great stay, desperately needs some sensor activated outdoor lighting at rear, cannot see a thing when you come back at night making back steps etc a little unsafe. For boaters an external power outlet would be greatly appreciated, running an extension lead from the main bedroom was not ideal.This prob all exists in the shed, however no access.No sink in the kitchen is certainly different lol.Overall the property is great, suited us to a tee. Will most likely be back in August 26
