Come stay at Moose Tracks Inn in Angel Fire, New Mexico. This pet-friendly home is the perfect place to spend your next family getaway. Featuring an open floor plan, gas fireplace, bike storage, bike wash station, boot dryers, and more. All on a wooded lot just minutes from all that Angel Fire has to offer. This home is centrally located close to the golf course, ski/bike resort, and just a 3/4 mile walk to Monte Verde Lake.

This house is part of the Mountain Serenity Rentals group, an elite group of family-owned properties providing the absolute best of what Angel Fire has to offer. Mountain Serenity Rentals is a small but mighty team started by husband and wife duo Eric and Cheryl in 2006. What began with one house and a small dream has since grown into our true passion: offering families from all over the opportunity to make memories in the mountains in beautiful, clean, up-to-date, and well-maintained homes. At Mountain Serenity Rentals, we intentionally market only a handful of properties so we can provide the highest level of service. We believe you deserve all the things you need for a great stay, and don’t want to nickle and dime you for them. Our homes are stocked with firewood for fireplaces and fire pits, propane for gas grills, detergent for laundry machines, and all the basics for kitchens and bathrooms. If you are ever missing something during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out! We have gathered a tremendous amount of knowledge over the years, but actively value feedback from our guests so we can continue to improve and provide excellence.

Here are some highlights of the property itself that we know you'll love:

** Pet-friendly - You're welcome to bring your furry friends to enjoy the mountains and this cozy home with you. The house features a gated deck to keep your critters safe while letting them hang with you in the great outdoors. Please be sure to include pets in your reservation or let us know when booking.

** Great location! Walking distance to Monte Verde Lake, a spring-fed lake in Angel Fire where you can enjoy fishing for rainbow trout, canoeing, hiking, paddle boarding, and paddle-boating, as well as great sledding in the winter. You can bike or walk on the 1-mile loop around the lake, and reach other trails in the Angel Fire Trail system. The house is about a 1.5-mile drive to the golf course for summer golfing, tennis, basketball, or winter sledding, as well as a great restaurant and bar. Easy access to the Angel Fire resort, just over 4 miles away, for skiing in the winter or mountain biking in the summer.

** Furnishings and accessories make for a cozy family stay including a fireplace with gas logs in the living room, an outdoor wood-burning firepit in the back yard, and a gas fire pit on the front deck. Plenty of space to spread out or spend time together!

**House sleeps up to 8 comfortably across 2 bedrooms and a kids' bunk room, complete with a TV for their own shows and movies.

** The house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. In each bathroom, we provide linens and towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and other cooking utensils you need, as well as paper towels, napkins, spices, olive oil, dish soap, and dishwashing detergent. All you need to buy is the food! We also have a laundry room with detergent provided for the washer, just in case your mountain adventures get messy!

BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS/BATHROOMS:
Perfect for a large family or 2 small families, Moose Tracks Inn comfortably sleeps 8 across 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms include the Main Suite with King bed, TV, and attached bathroom, a King bedroom room with a Roku TV, and a Kid's bunkroom with two sets of twin-over-twin bunks and a TV. There is a shared full bathroom in the hallway just steps from the bedrooms. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers, and hand soap.

LIVING AREAS AND ENTERTAINMENT:
After your full day of playing outdoors, retreat to Moose Tracks Inn and relax. There's plenty of room to spread out or to join together in this home. Relax in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace, or pull out one of our games or puzzles and take over the dining room table. If you want some quiet time, set the kids up with a movie in their bunk room, or watch something all together in the main living space. Each bedroom has a Roku TV, so you can unwind with your favorite shows before bed too.

DECKS/OUTSIDE:
Picture yourself grilling on the deck, eating together on the picnic table, relaxing in the evening around the fire pit, and making smores. Or maybe you fire up the gas fire pit on the front deck while you enjoy your morning coffee or evening happy hour. Let the kids explore the expansive forested property while you and the dogs relax on the fenced-in deck. It's all here waiting for you!

This house is also a mountain biker's dream, with bike storage in the garage and a bike wash station out front. Bringing an ATV, RV, or trailer? No problem, there's plenty of space alongside the driveway.

KITCHEN/DINING
Creating and eating meals together is another great way to create great family memories and this home provides everything you need. Our kitchen has a plethora of cooking supplies and utensils – a full set of appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, gas stovetop, oven, toaster, coffeemaker), a variety of pots, pans, cooking utensils, and baking dishes. Additionally, the large walk-in pantry provides ample space to store away all the supplies that you might have brought with you! For sharing family meals, our dining table seats 4, with room for 4 on the kitchen barstools. We also have a picnic table outside for eating al fresco in the warmer months.

PARKING/LAUNDRY:
Our home has a long straight driveaway (a rarity in the mountains), and a garage with bike storage, boot dryers, and space to park your car. There is also plenty of space in front of the house if you bring your off-road vehicles along!

Entering through the front of the house, you will find a closet for coats and rubber mats for boots. You may also enter from the garage and leave the mess behind there! For all other messes, we provide a laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets for your use.

Convenient & well maintained
We chose this property for two main reasons: hot tub and pet friendly. Everything else was a nice bonus! It’s a well loved property but clean and organized. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of space for 2 adults and four kids. The property manager was amazing every step of the way. Communication was excellent and timely. When they say dog friendly they aren’t kidding! The fenced back yard was great. There were dog bowls provided and pet cleaning supplies. There was no snow on the roads when we were there but the neighborhood roads are terrible. Mud and potholes everywhere. The driveways was a steep mud pit and while we have never had issues driving our car in snow it got stuck a couple times in the mud. Definitely pay attention to the vehicle suggestions. My only minor complaint is the 9 am check out time. Im sure there’s a reason for it but it feels awfully early! Everything else made up for it though.

Perfect for families and pets
We really enjoyed our stay. We brought our two dogs who enjoyed long walks on the nearby trails, quick romps in the fully fenced backyard and snoozing in the evenings on the gated deck. This property was well stocked, central to all Angel Fire's activities, yet a welcome respite at the end of busy days. Casual, comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Easy and clear communication with management. We will seek to stay here again the next time we come to town.
