Summary:
Unique private in-town pool property and oasis surrounded by mature tropical landscaping and the gorgeous Galveston Historical District! Coral Cottage is located conveniently to all things classic Galveston! Just a 5 minute vigorous walk and you'll be standing in the the sand and surf or take a walk across Broadway, down 21st you will be at The Strand and Port of Galveston! Never a dull moment, lots to see and do!
The Space:
Staying at home, dining is a pleasure indoors and out with gorgeous outdoor kitchen and designer-inspired kitchen inside with marble countertop, glass door upper cabinets, stainless appliances and under counter lighting. Relax in the inviting living room with a gas log fireplace and comfortable seating. Ready for bed or nap, the large primary bedroom is on the main level complete with a spa-like ensuite bath. Upstairs are the two guest bedrooms and second full bath. This is a great spot to hang with family and/or friends!

The Neighborhood:
The scenic Seawall is just 6 blocks from this home. Guests can enjoy the many restaurants from seafood to pizza or head to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. Still not enough, check out Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, or the fabulous and historic Strand. There's plenty of activities to do, and of course, there is nothing better than a day at the beach!
Getting Around:
Many activities are within walking distance from this central spot. However, Uber and Lyft are widely available and convenient for evenings out. Seasonal trolley service runs along parts of the Seawall and into downtown, which is a charming, car-free way to sightseeing.

We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!

Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.
