Die Eigentumswohnung im ersten Stock von Harbor Oaks befindet sich direkt im Dorf und ist perfekt zu Fuß erreichbar, um einzukaufen, Restaurants zu besuchen und in die St. Simons Pier oder der Strand. Diese Wohnanlage bietet einen Pool und einen kleinen Fitnessraum. The condo was like a cozy cottage. All the bright windows. The design was great. Master on one side and other bedrooms on the other made for a very good sleeping arrangement. The home decor and pictures on the walls were fantastic. It rained a lot while we were in St Simon so we has to stay in. The condo was a good place to hang out

Great 90th birthday for my mom

My sister and I took our mom for her 90th birthday. We loved the unit and really liked the little corner room with all the windows. The pool was enjoyed and the unit couldn't have been more wonderful. A light bulb was out and it was fixed within an hour of notifying the rental company. Thank you!

Lovely place but BEWARE of ROACHES. We arrived late in the evening. Check in was easy and the place was tidy, and quaint. Upon arrival, I noticed what looked like a few small bugs on the kitchen counter (I'm not used to seeing roaches and was unsure what the 'babies' looked like). In the morning, 1/2-inch roach near the sink and about 5 other 'babies' seen on the kitchen counter throughout the day (inside the toaster and dishwasher!). Next day, more roaches in the kitchen. Called property manager who quickly sent 'pest-control' over very nice lady). We discussed spraying but with children, we agreed that wasn't best. She set a variety of sticky traps near the dishwasher (in areas where we couldn't see). Traps didn't take care of the issue, and they continued to appear in kitchen and then a few other areas of the condo (hallway, living room wall, and sitting area). We were not comfortable cooking in the kitchen and had to purchase every meal, quite an unexpected expense! Why didn't I contact the property manager again? Honestly, it wouldn't have taken care of the issue and my children were having a nice time. My husband and I just dealt with it. Bedrooms and living rooms could use a deep clean if I was to be picky (rug smells a bit like dog pee in some areas) and we found half chewed dog bone, toys, and wrappers under furniture. It really is a great place, perfect location, and lovely complex. St. Simons is beautiful!

When you contacted us, we responded immediately and had our licensed pest control provider on-site right away to assess and treat the situation in a manner appropriate for a home with children present. It’s important for guests to know that in coastal environments like St. Simons Island, occasional insect activity can occur despite routine preventative service, particularly during warmer months. That said, what you described is not typical for this property, and we would have welcomed the opportunity to continue addressing your concerns had you reached out again during your stay. We are always available and committed to making things right in real time whenever possible. Regarding the additional cleanliness comments, we are addressing these with our housekeeping team to ensure all standards are consistently met. It was not cleaned daily and I had to skim the pool before the kids could get in. It is also NOT heated! Overall the condo is beautiful. We were very bummed to have rented some movies and there was no DVD player. You have to have infinity membership to watch anything g other than regular tv. Overall it’s a great area and condo. If you have the chance take a day to trolley tour Jekyl. It was great. Even the kids enjoyed it.

We are glad you liked the condo and agree that the location is great. The wind was blowing during your visit and it was impossible to keep all of the leaves out of the pool, however the pool is cleaned by a professional cleaning company. Our ad does not state that the pool is heated or that it comes with a DVD player, however it does have a cable package. I wish that when we spoke, you would have let me know as I believe is was a simple matter of choice of channels. The owner has an infinity membership and the guest are not required to have their own membership. Thank you for staying with us and we appreciate that you found our condo beautiful. Great location, Super Clean

We stayed here at the property July 8 - 12, 2023 while I attended a conference on Jekyll Island. My mom, 4 kids, and myself stayed here, and there was plenty of room for everyone! The property was located off of Mallery St. and near the Village. The condo was right beside the pool, so that was super convenient! We LOVED the pool and swam everyday! It was too far for us to walk to the village, but it was a very short drive. The condo is not within walking distance of the beach, but is still a very short ride. The condo complex is very clean and is gated, so we felt safe and secure. There is plenty of parking and one space is covered and that was great in the heat. The condo complex is very quiet. Our stay was absolutely great! The condo was well equipped with everything you need. Although, I would suggest they get some new pans - the nonstick teflon is coming off of the frying pans so they are unusable, but that is literally the only thing negative, and that happens with use to everyone! The communication for check-in and check-out were very clear and prompt. Overall, I highly recommend this property!

Great place!

The location and layout of this place was amazing. The neighborhood was was quiet and relaxing and the kids found families of turtles living in the pond. The only drawback was the pool wasn’t heated and there was a lot of brush from the trees that was in the pool so we couldn’t use it
