Best experience we have had renting a place to stay! Hosts were super communicative and helpful. Condo was just as described and in the perfect location. Pet friendly and clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax after a busy year! Would 100% recommend and would stay again.

This was a beautiful property within walking distance of the Village. It was nice and clean and very well appointed. The owners added a lot of extra touches making it even more inviting and comfortable. The owners were very responsive checked with us to ensure everything was good. I’ve stayed at dozens of VRBOs and these hosts were top notch - friendly, organized, and communicative. :) (Thank you!!) The property decor was lovely, the high ceilings were great, kitchen was well stocked and the beds were cozy. A nice 10-min walk to the pier. Great rental!

Property and owner were excellent in every way. The owner stayed in constant contact and responded quickly to inquiries. The property was very well-apportioned, clean, and inviting. The complex is well-maintained, quiet, and located in proximity to major areas of the island. Except for traveling to Jacksonville one day, and a grocer that is located about mid-island, we traveled the remainder of the time by golf cart. We will definitely be staying at Peaceful Tides again and recommend that you do also.

Golf trip

Great location for our golf coaches to stay for our high school golf state tournament. Owners kept us informed and even able to check-in early once the cleaners were done. Great hosts!

Fantastic place!

The place was just perfect! It had everything we needed, was super clean, and in a great location. The pier, shops, and lighthouse were a short walk away. East Beach was only an 8 min drive away and there is a grocery store close by also. We ate at a few of the restaurants nearby, but also took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, which had every pan and utensil you could need. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Perfect tranquil getaway

We loved Jim and Lee's place -- it was clean, well-appointed, and loved that we could bring our pup! The location is perfect, right near the village, a park, and the beach. We rented a golf cart and loved being so close to everything. It was Memorial Day weekend and even still, nothing was too overcrowded -- I kept remarking that St. Simons is the quietest beach I've been to. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I live north of Atlanta, we visited a few times and we fell in love with St. Simons Island. Our favorite location was Harbour Oaks - We purchased our condo in 2023 and we hope you and your family will be able to enjoy it as much as we do.

We wanted to be as close to the village as possible. Harbour Oaks was our favorite complex because it was steps from the village, gated, peaceful and very private.

The previous owners had done an amazing job completely updating the condo. The kitchen has been opened up to the dining and living areas, it also provides new appliances and a granite bar for extra dining. It took us a while to settle on a name - but the word we heard from everyone who visited was "peaceful" - So we love the name "Peaceful Tides".
